1. Valeska P.

“Super responsible and knowledgeable sitter. Shes uses fear free approach which I greatly appreciate since one of my dog’s is uncomfortable around strangers. She followed all my instructions and sent me lots of pictures of my happy puppies. I feel extra comfortable with Valeska since she is a veterinary technician, so I know she will promptly bring my pets to get care in the event of an emergency.”

2. Dani R.

“Dani loves our cats! It helps because I miss them when we go ❤️ It was my first major booking with someone outside of family, and I'm so glad I did it. Hope to see you again, Dani!”

“Second time with Carolina walking my dog Blair - she does such a great job and sends tons of sweet photos! I feel very well informed and trust that she took great care of my baby while I’m out and about. I will be booking with her again soon!”

4. Pamela K.

“Pamela was fantastic with our two cats! She was always timely in her drop-ins, gave comprehensive updates, and kept our cats happy and entertained. We highly recommend her for anyone else looking for a sitter!”

5. ROBERT W.
“Robert, Cato's foster dad, was a true hero. He rescued Cato from the streets, a scared and distrustful dog, and transformed him into my best friend. Cato was a handful, stubborn and fearful, but Robert's unwavering love, patience, and training turned him into an amazing companion. With Robert, Cato felt safe and secure. Robert's calm demeanor and gentle spirit have a soothing effect on dogs, making them feel at ease in his presence. I 100% recommend Robert for any of your pet care needs.”

6. Tara N.

“Tara checked in daily on our two cats while we were away for 8 days. She was a great communicator, always letting us know when she would be there and how the kitties were doing.”

7. Amy F.

“Amy has exceeded all of our expectations and made our Rover experience truly amazing! She provided super detailed updates and many pictures while we were away. Can’t recommend enough!”

8. Emma S.
About: Hey there animal-lover! Nice to meet you! I’ve heard you need some pet-sitting services and I can help you with that! I’ve grown up around cats and dogs since I was nine years old and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve spent time at animal rescues taking care of everyone. This included walking dogs, feeding, and administering oral medications to sick cats. I have also changed diapers for senior cats and made sure everything was clean. I currently work full-time as a retail manager, but am often free in the late evenings after my shifts. There’s something exciting and loving about opening a door to find a furry four-legged pet who is anxiously awaiting your arrival and I’d love to show that love back. The first thing I do when I walk into a home is find the animal(s) that I’m caring for, make sure that they are physically okay, and give them hugs and kisses if they are open to it. For shyer animals, I do try to pet but if they back away, I don’t push it.

9. Nathan L.
About: I'm not sure if this sets me apart from anyone on this site but, I love dogs. My family loves dogs. We have had them in our lives for our entire lives, some shorter for shorter spurts than others. One thing I found out from each gifted moment was that dogs are not just there to own. They are there for us as much as we are for them sometimes more. We offer a family setting full of love and joy, pets and snuggles. My wife is a certified dog instructor who has worked for rover in the past. I loved doing it so much I wanted to take it back up! Pet care can be implemented at any point throughout the day. I can take them for regularly scheduled walks if necessary upon availability (to avoid double bookings) I have a fully 6 ft privacy fenced yard (60×85). We have many dog toys we have retained from previous loved ones and two energetic children that love to run and play. Comfy surfaces everywhere.

10. John & Erin L.
“John and Erin did a terrific job caring for our foster puppy before we adopted her. They are such caring and loving people. They will do a fantastic job caring for any pet.”

11. Lucy E.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. Having companions of various dog breeds and cats. As well as lizards and Guinea pigs. I also have fostered many different cats and dogs through the Humane Society for North Texas for the past 5 years and have done pet sitting for friends and family. I work full time so but can will always do my best to have time to care for and spend time with the fur babies throughout the day and adjust my schedules best I can. Whether stopping in before or after work. Or even-spending the whole days or weekends. I can definitely be flexible to meet the pets and families needs. My home has a fenced in yard and I would definitely be aware of any fencing at a clients home as well. Or any special cage/pet area they have. I love going for walks and getting outside and playing. My personal animals definitely have a routine, feeding and walk schedule to I would be attentive to whatever routine a client has for their pet.

12. Katelyn R.

“Katelyn took great care of our cats while we were out of town for over a week. Great communication with me about the visits and very responsive. Will definitely be using her again for future cat sitting needs.”

13. Ned M.

“Ned came for a meet and greet so I could introduce LucyLulu and show him how I feed her, what commands we use and how to get her in and out of the house and kennel. LucyLulu liked Ned and he reported she was a good girl both visits. He lives very close and it is a good match.”

14. Megan S.
About: As an adult I’ve adopted 3 dogs and fostered another 3. Puppies to seniors, a 10 lb chihuahua to a 70 lb shepherd mix. I have a fully fenced yard that is great for dogs! (Assuming they can’t climb over a 4 ft fence; if they can I usually hook the dog onto a very long tether so they have room to roam but not make an escape over the fence). My lot is about .43 acres and is more long and narrow than square so it gives a lot of room to run for games of fetch. I’m a huge lover/sucker for a good pupper dog but don’t currently have any pets of my own because I’ve been on a travel kick the past year. Signing up for Rover kills two birds with one stone for me because I can get my animal fix with other people’s pets and make some extra money for travel. I work fully remote from my house so that enables me to give potty breaks as often as needed, however, depending on my meeting schedule certain days I may not be able to take on dogs who bark excessively because they could disrupt my work calls. I don’t have a ton of experience with cats though I did live with my ex-husband’s cat for 7 yrs. We briefly had two cats because a stray who was an exact look-a-like for our cat showed up on our doorstep once and I assumed it was our cat and that she had gotten outside and let the stray in 🤣 At the time we already had 2 dogs and a cat and a ton of fish so we kept the stray only until we found a new home for him. I work a lot of hours for my day job but my hours are fairly flexible since my company is 2 hrs behind in Seattle, and I work fully from home, so I am confident I’ll have the bandwidth to take care of pets in my home or can go over my lunch break to other people’s homes to look in on their pets. I have a fully fenced yard, a crate of necessary, and a fair number of toys to keep them entertained. My son also loves pets and I’m sure will go nuts wanting to play with any animals that are around. My son is almost 8 and has a lot of experience with animals. Obviously my son’s safety is paramount for me so when he is staying with me I’ll only be interested in boarding animals that are good with children.
