“Juli was a perfect dog sitter. Mac took to her right away. She took him for walks and took very good care of him and he was healthy and happy when we got home. I would definitely hire her again. Thanks much!”

“Dani has taken care of my cat Razzberry on two different occasions this summer. She took very good care of my little girl and I wasn’t worried about her at all while I was gone.”

About: I've been around dogs since I was little, and with what I do for work, I have a lot of experience with all kinds of breeds and levels of energy! My dogs are my life, and coming home to my them is the best part of my day! I love taking them to the dog park, and working on casual training! I have a fenced yard, and I live on a cul-de-sac in an area not too close to many busy roads. My dogs are fed once in the morning and once in the evening, and are let outside more times per day than I can count. Playtime is a must, and my girls love tug! If I care for a pet in another home, I love details and preferences, so as to make the pet sitting experience more comfortable for pets and owners.
About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. If I am ever watching pets in my own home I have a very friendly 30 lb terrier mix that loves to play with other dogs.
“Pamela has been doing drop in potty breaks for our new dog. She is great! Consistent and communicative. The dogs like her AND her visits mean we no longer come home to accidents.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up in a household where they were always part of the family. Because of that, caring for dogs has always felt really natural to me—from walks and playtime to feeding, routines, and, of course, plenty of attention and cuddles! While I’m newer to Rover, I’m not new to pet care. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs for friends, family, and people in my circle when they’ve been away or needed an extra hand. I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust taking care of your pet, especially when you can’t be there yourself. I’m patient, attentive, responsible, and very comfortable following whatever routine your dog is used to. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates—I know I’d want the same if someone were watching my dog! My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. I know every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and routine, so I always take the time to learn what makes each pet comfortable. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, household rules, or anything else that helps keep your dog happy and safe. When I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I’m also very respectful of the space and want you to feel comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being looked after.
“My cats love her! She is kind, attentive, and a great communicator. Thankful that every time we go on a long trip we have Katelyn to take care of the fuzzy members of our family ❤️”

“Anna was the most thoughtful, caring, and attentive sitter! She gave detailed, thorough updates of each visit and prioritized my dog's wishes when it came to walks, playtime, bellyrubs, etc. I look forward to booking Anna again!”
“This was our first time using Rover and it couldn’t have been better. Tara was great! I really appreciated the daily photos and updates for both of our cats. I could tell they were well-cared for when we arrived home.”

“Lauren was wonderful in taking care of Mr. Kitty who was newly diagnosed as diabetic. She was very punctual as Kitty needed injections and feedings every 12 hrs. She left little notes as to how he was doing with injections and his litter box habits. We are very pleased with the time that she has spent with Mr. Kitty”

About: I love dogs and have had a dog most of my life, growing up and as an adult! I grew up with a smaller dog (Shit Zhu). Currently we have one female Labradoodle; we lost our 15 y.o lab mix in fall of 2025 so Daisy loves having friends to come over to stay! We are an active family and spend a lot of time outside. I have 2 teenage kids age 15 and 17. They are also dog lovers and are very helpful with pet care. If needed, the kids can give your pet space too. I have good awareness of pet behaviors, can read your dog’s comfort level and can provide space as needed. We would love to host your dog at a nurturing and calm environment with plenty of walks! I currently work full time daytime hours in healthcare. I have 2 kids who are around before and after school most days to visit with dogs and let them out. I own a home with a tie out for bathroom breaks. Dogs will also get regular walks and playtime in the home with my 2 friendly dogs and my active family! I only take one Rover guest at a time but if you have 2 dogs in your family that both need care, please ask. Exceptions may be made.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 8 or 9, mostly family dogs to start. I have also house sat for not only family dogs but friends as well. I work at a doggie daycare facility currently, so I am familiar with dog behaviors and care. I currently work full-time in evenings, so that gives plenty of morning time for walks and cuddles. I am available for both boarding and daily care most of my week and always try to be flexible with clients. I love to have animals be as comfortable as they can be in their owners home, whatever that might look like. My goal is to make the clients and dogs as comfortable as possibly while building trust and good relationship.
About: Pets have been part of my family for my whole life. Current animals in my home include Timber (a 8-year-old English Cream Retriever) and Cedar (a 6-year-old tuxedo cat who is comfortable with cat-friendly dogs). My 1/4 acre lot features a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and I am home almost all the time, so I can provide all the care and attention your pet needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I work from home with a ton of flexibility. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give your pet all of the care they need. Your pet will receive constant care and attention with plenty of opportunity to play in my large, fenced yard. The interior of my family's home features plenty of space for your pet to relax comfortably, with room for crating if your pet needs. I have experience with pets who need medication (my own takes a twice daily medication) or special care. I would love to invite you to stop by for a meet-and-greet!
About: I've cared for dogs and cats for over 20 years and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive, and I'll treat your dog with the same kindness and care I'd want for my own pet. Whether your dog loves a brisk walk, a slower pace, or extra encouragement, I'm happy to tailor each visit to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your best friend is doing. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I've chosen to dedicate my weekends to it. By limiting my availability to weekends, I can give each dog my full attention and provide dependable, unhurried care. I only accept bookings I know I can commit to, so every walk is reliable, personalized, and never rushed. When caring for your dog, I'll always follow your routine and preferences. Whether that means using a specific leash or harness, reinforcing good walking habits, or taking a favorite route, I'll make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own, making sure doors are secure, water bowls are refreshed if needed, and your pet is settled before I leave. After each visit, I'll send an update with photos so you know exactly how your dog's walk went.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Shoreview
Cari did a great job during a drop in with Honey! She was able to let her out twice and get her to take her meds even though she is anxious and wary of people coming into the house. Cari is a great communicator too! I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her again.

Ava was really amazing. She was very professional, and above all she was very thoughtful, kind and caring with our senior with special needs dog. She met with us prior to our scheduled drop ins so she was familiar with Cole’s needs and routines. She was an exceptional communicator, sending pictures and updating us with how things were going, and very understanding with our shy senior dog. We would highly recommend her and definitely look forward to using her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
