About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have always had a soft spot for all furry friends. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and favorite way to spend the day, so I always take the time to get to know what makes them happiest and the most comfortable while away from their best friend! Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy naps, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your furry family member like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and I love taking pictures of these adorable, quirky, animals! My favorite thing growing up was to see picture updates of my dog while on vacation, so I will always do the same for my clients! Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I am working full time, but have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for, whether that means morning walks, midday potty breaks, playtime, feedings, or evening cuddles. I enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always take the time to learn their routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special preferences or instructions. In a client’s home, I treat both their pet and their home with the same respect and care I would my own. I’ll keep your pet company, make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and leave your home just as I found it. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I’ll provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where they can relax, play, and feel right at home. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can see how much fun your furry friend is having while you’re away!

About: Pets have been part of my family for my whole life. Current animals in my home include Timber (a 8-year-old English Cream Retriever) and Cedar (a 6-year-old tuxedo cat who is comfortable with cat-friendly dogs). My 1/4 acre lot features a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and I am home almost all the time, so I can provide all the care and attention your pet needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I work from home with a ton of flexibility. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give your pet all of the care they need. Your pet will receive constant care and attention with plenty of opportunity to play in my large, fenced yard. The interior of my family's home features plenty of space for your pet to relax comfortably, with room for crating if your pet needs. I have experience with pets who need medication (my own takes a twice daily medication) or special care. I would love to invite you to stop by for a meet-and-greet!

About: I’ve had all sorts of animals in my life and always have enjoyed the love and care an animal is able to give us! My dad and I had an amazing black lab, Willie, while I was growing up. When Willie got older, I helped with some of his senior care such as changing his diapers. My dad and I also had two guinea pigs while I was in high school, they were so fun and I loved how much personality they had. My mom was in the Southern area of the states for about a year, and ended up coming back to Minnesota with two cats and moved in with me! I partner with my mom for their every-day care (feeding, cleaning litter box, cutting nails) often. I have also cat-sat for my friend, whose kitty had just gotten several teeth removed - so she needed some oral medications while I was caring for her. This included pill and syringe medications. As for pets that are solely my own, I have a 5-year-old horse named Atlas that I purchased after graduating from college. He has been such an amazing learning experience and I appreciate our partnership so much. I currently work full-time, and have a bit of a varying schedule day-to-day but am often out of the house for 8+ hours a day. For this reason I’m unsure if house-sitting dogs would be a great fit for my weekday schedule unless they were close by to my work, where I could stop by during my lunch and give them a potty break. Otherwise could totally do weekends! My work schedule typically hasn’t been obstructive to cat care, unless the cat is fed in small portions more than twice a day. Then, I may need to stop in during my lunch break - or find another way to split their feedings appropriately. I strive to care for any pet just as their owner would. I do know some animals are wary of strangers and I will respect your pet’s boundaries - so if they seem shy or nervous about me, I will absolutely give them space. If an animal is social and excited, I am more than happy to give pets, cuddle, and play! Additionally, more than happy to clean up any litter boxes (cats) or outside excrement (dogs).

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up in a household where they were always part of the family. Because of that, caring for dogs has always felt really natural to me—from walks and playtime to feeding, routines, and, of course, plenty of attention and cuddles! While I’m newer to Rover, I’m not new to pet care. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs for friends, family, and people in my circle when they’ve been away or needed an extra hand. I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust taking care of your pet, especially when you can’t be there yourself. I’m patient, attentive, responsible, and very comfortable following whatever routine your dog is used to. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates—I know I’d want the same if someone were watching my dog! My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. I know every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and routine, so I always take the time to learn what makes each pet comfortable. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, household rules, or anything else that helps keep your dog happy and safe. When I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I’m also very respectful of the space and want you to feel comfortable knowing both your pet and your home are being looked after.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 8 or 9, mostly family dogs to start. I have also house sat for not only family dogs but friends as well. I work at a doggie daycare facility currently, so I am familiar with dog behaviors and care. I currently work full-time in evenings, so that gives plenty of morning time for walks and cuddles. I am available for both boarding and daily care most of my week and always try to be flexible with clients. I love to have animals be as comfortable as they can be in their owners home, whatever that might look like. My goal is to make the clients and dogs as comfortable as possibly while building trust and good relationship.

I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met.
