“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met. About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication and patience. I have taken care of dogs ranging from 2 years or to 17 years old. I have experience with older dog and having to clean up accidents as well. I currently have a full time job that I work from 8:30-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9-3 on Fridays. With early communication I am willing to make adjustments to accommodate if it makes sense. I would prefer to watch your pet in their environment. I think it helps them feel more comfortable with me and being in a space they know.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for the past 5 years, including boarding family and friends’ dogs for stays of up to a week. For the past 3 years, I’ve also regularly walked dogs for family and friends, so I’m comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix, which gave me experience caring for large dogs from a young age. I’m reliable, active, and attentive to routines, whether that means regular walks, feeding schedules, or making sure dogs are comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve always genuinely loved being around dogs and enjoy getting to spend time with them. I’m currently home for the summer from college, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can easily work around pets’ usual routines and needs. Since I’m active and enjoy being outside, dog walks and spending time with pets fit naturally into my daily routine. I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. In my home, pets would have a safe, clean environment with lots of space. I have a large backyard for outdoor time and exercise, and I also have a very friendly Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix who is well socialized with other dogs. Since the yard is not fenced, I would always supervise outdoor time and keep dogs safely on a leash when needed. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and work to keep pets comfortable in their usual environment and routine.

I love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently available most weekdays when I’m not babysitting my nieces. I spend a lot of weekends in the cities right now, but I’m occasionally available on weekends as well. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. Monday- Friday I am available any time of day all day. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. If the pets were in my home, I would do my best to make that temporary transition as smooth and as comfortable for them as possible. Whether that be bringing their own toys or bed, or letting them snuggle in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to. With my schedule being solely dedicated to pet sitting, your pet will never lack attention in whatever ways they need! Whether that’s endless walks and tug of war, snuggles on the couch, or just having a safe hand around to make sure they are picked up after.

I maintain a calm, structured, and loving environment with plenty of time outdoors I follow your pet’s routines closely: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, and any house rules you use at home.
