About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication and patience. I have taken care of dogs ranging from 2 years or to 17 years old. I have experience with older dog and having to clean up accidents as well. I currently have a full time job that I work from 8:30-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9-3 on Fridays. With early communication I am willing to make adjustments to accommodate if it makes sense. I would prefer to watch your pet in their environment. I think it helps them feel more comfortable with me and being in a space they know.

About: I’m confident and comfortable with both dogs and cats, including puppies, senior pets, high-energy dogs, shy animals, and pets that need extra patience or attention. I also have experience with potty training puppies, reinforcing routines and basic commands, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have worked professionally for years as a pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. This has given me experience and confidence in handling different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I also grew up homeschooled on lots of land, so pets have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because I was home during the day, I spent a lot of time helping with feeding, training, socializing, exercising, and caring for animals of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. I’m calm, patient, and highly reliable — flexible with scheduling and available on weekdays and weekends. I can support puppy/kitten socialization and basic training (crate, potty, leash manners), and provide gentle, attentive senior care including medication administration, joint‑friendly walks, and adapted routines for mobility or cognitive needs. I’m comfortable with special diets and medical schedules, skilled at reading body language to prevent stress, and I am happy to send as many photo updates as you desire! I structure my day around the pets in my care to provide consistent routines and attention. Weekdays I’m available for morning and evening walks, midday potty breaks, and play/supervised rest throughout the day — I can also provide all-day care when needed since I live in a secure apartment with a fenced dog area and can be with your pet at all times. Weekends I offer extended walks, extra playtime and socialization. I follow each owner’s feeding and medication schedule precisely, accommodate crate or training routines, and am flexible for early/late drop-offs or pickups when arranged. I’m happy to do a meet-and-greet to coordinate schedules and any special timing needs. I treat every pet like family and tailor care to each animal’s needs and household rules. I provide photo/text updates after visits, and will contact you and your vet immediately in an emergency. I’m happy to meet beforehand to review routines, medical needs, and any special instructions to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. In my home I provide a clean, pet-safe environment (no toxic plants/chemicals, non-smoking), supervised play, regular potty breaks, leash walks, and quiet resting areas. I live in a secure apartment building with a fenced-in dog area and can be with your pet at all times if they need extra attention. I follow each owner’s feeding schedule, portion and medication instructions, and any crate or training rules. In a client’s home I respect your space and routines, lock doors and gates after every visit, refresh water, tidy any messes, and leave a detailed visit note. I use secure leashes and carriers as needed, offer enrichment (toys, games, gentle training), limit interactions with other animals unless approved, and monitor pets closely for signs of stress or illness.

About: We have both had dogs since childhood, and our whole family (kids included now) LOVE giving our pet, and others, loads of love and attention. We already care for our dog with a daily walk and three meals a day. We homeschool, so plenty of potty breaks during the day as well. About: I have always had dogs and am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and size. I can give your dogs medications and help with training basic commands. I work full time 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday then one weekend a month. I typically go to the gym most days for about an hour otherwise am home outside of work hours. I will work with your established routine and care for your pets. I think it’s important to maintain their normal as much as possible.

About: I have years of dog sitting and walking experience. I grew up with dogs and am comfortable with all sizes and breeds, including pups who may be a little feisty on a leash. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a long walk, or full house sitting/boarding, I treat every dog like my own! I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them great care while you’re away! Feel free to message me with any questions. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and head into the office Tuesday through Thursday. This gives me excellent flexibility for early morning walks before work, evening drop-ins or walks after the office, plus plenty of availability during the day on Mondays/Fridays, weekends, and overnights.
