Life Long Dog Lover w/Fenced Yard
I have had a dog or dogs in my entire life with the exception of my college years. Many times I have cared for pets of friends and family in my home or theirs from 1 day up to 6 weeks. I have experience with all sizes up to 120 pound Malamutes. I only work part-time from home with a flexible schedule. I am willing to transport your dog in my car if needed. Since I live alone, your pet will get most of my attention when he/she is in my care. Long time former dog owner with open space in my heart and home for your large/small, young/old pup. A fenced in back yard and welcoming air conditioned home are waiting for you. I'm very active and would love to exercise and walk your dog if needed. Pets are welcome on my furniture and I have a tiled 12x12 room with a wide gate that can be used if necessary for incontinence. It is visually open to most of the house and not walled off. My sisters have dogs and we can arrange play dates if desired.

Julie was absolutely wonderful. I’ve had my rescue dog Crosby for over four years now and this was the first time I’ve had to leave him for a long period of time in the care of someone who wasn’t me. As you can imagine, my anxiety levels were incredibly high. (I have clinical anxiety and Crosby is my world.) Julie brought so much ease throughout me and my husband’s traveling period- I was actually able to enjoy our honeymoon! The care she provides is unmatched and I have never seen anything like it. It is such a relief to know my beloved cat was in the best hands possible while I was away. No words….i trusted Julie implicitly and I knew she was the right person when my cat didn’t even hide when Julie came over for the meet and greet. Animals know, right? It’s the very first time in 8 years that Callie didn’t hide when someone came to the door. Julie is the best.

A typical day
I enjoy walks in parks especially in quiet secluded areas. If your dog is a social butterfly and has dog park experience, we can go there. If swimming is part of your routine I am close to a dog beach. Playing fetch in the back yard is an option too. I often get together with my sisters and they both have multiple dogs, so play dates are an option as well.
