“We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. About: I have had dogs most of my life and have always been a responsible owner. I know how important it is for dogs to get exercised and stimulated. I work during the week during normal business hours but my adult son is with me and would see to it that your dog is taken care of during that time. He is also a dog lover and is very responsible and used to volunteer with the humane society. I would be attending to your dog in the evenings and early morning. I am available throughout the weekends. My back yard is not fenced and is adjacent to green space. I would make sure that your dog is walked regularly with a leash (at least twice a day).

About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My family provides a loving, structured home environment, and dogs receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. We start the day with feeding, potty breaks, and a walk, and we typically do at least one longer walk each day to make sure our dog gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Since we have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky, we’re very familiar with meeting the needs of high-energy dogs and making sure they stay active and engaged. About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I do not start work until mid morning so I like to do a morning walk and another after dinner if the weather is nice. I have a fenced-in yard and two smaller, friendly dogs that love to play. When the weather allows, there are great areas to walk dogs in my neighborhood.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and specifically smaller dogs for 15+ years. I currently have a smaller dog that loves to go on walks and interact with others. I’m currently employed full time, but I have a flexible work from home schedule that allows flexibility throughout the day to care for your dog. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run around in. “We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. If you have a senior dog with special needs and you're terrified to leave them — choose Patti and Patrick! We will never use anyone else.”

About: I have had dogs most of my life and have always been a responsible owner. I know how important it is for dogs to get exercised and stimulated. I work during the week during normal business hours but my adult son is with me and would see to it that your dog is taken care of during that time. He is also a dog lover and is very responsible and used to volunteer with the humane society. I would be attending to your dog in the evenings and early morning. I am available throughout the weekends. My back yard is not fenced and is adjacent to green space. I would make sure that your dog is walked regularly with a leash (at least twice a day).

About: Hi! We’re Brock and Laura, and we’d love to welcome your dog into our home. We have two young kids (both under 7) who absolutely love dogs, so our house is full of fun, love, and plenty of attention for our furry guests. We currently do not have any pets of our own as our dog passed a few years ago. Both of us work from home full-time, which means someone is almost always here. Your dog will have lots of companionship, regular potty breaks, and won’t be left alone for long stretches. We live across from the Oakdale Nature Preserve, so daily walks are part of our routine. If your dog enjoys playing with other dogs and you’re comfortable with it, we’re also happy to visit a nearby Oakdale Bark Park for some supervised fun. Every dog is different, and we love getting to know their unique personality. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or just curling up on the couch, we’ll do our best to make them feel right at home. We’re happy to stick to their normal routine, administer medications if needed, and send plenty of photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Our kids have been taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, and all interactions are always supervised by Brock or Laura. We know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and we’ll care for them like they’re one of our own. A quick note about our home: We're a family with young children, so we have a few breed restrictions to help ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. At this time, we're unable to accept Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes. We appreciate your understanding and hope you'll reach out if your pup is a good fit for our home! As a work-from-home family, pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine. We take dogs for a minimum of two walks per day, and someone is always home to provide company, bathroom breaks, and attention throughout the day. We’re an active family who spends evenings and weekends outdoors, and pups are welcome to join us for any activities they’re comfortable with — from park visits to family outings. Children in our home will be active participants in caring for the dog — helping with things like brushing, playtime, and gentle daily interaction. Adults handle the core responsibilities of walking and feeding to ensure consistency and the dog’s wellbeing.
