About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication and patience. I have taken care of dogs ranging from 2 years or to 17 years old. I have experience with older dog and having to clean up accidents as well. I currently have a full time job that I work from 8:30-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9-3 on Fridays. With early communication I am willing to make adjustments to accommodate if it makes sense. I would prefer to watch your pet in their environment. I think it helps them feel more comfortable with me and being in a space they know.
“Bryn did a wonderful job taking care of our pets! She paid lots of attention to our elderly cat and sent plenty of pictures and thorough updates. We came back to a happy and healthy boy. Can't recommend enough!”

About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I work about 25 hours a week typically spread over Wednesday-Friday at a museum with one evening commitment on Thursday evenings. This makes me very flexible to meet your pets needs! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.
“One year ago we decided to give Rover a try and were lucky enough to find Jeff. He has been wonderful to work with. Always flexible, reliable, and great communication! He genuinely cares about what he does and we could not be more grateful for a fabulous year of great care with lots of love for our big guy!”

“Rylan has been very easy to work with, she agreed to meet and greet quickly and was available right away, which was much appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Great communication and took pictures of the cats letting me know they were doing good. I would recommend Tara and hopefully book her again when we need a drop in visit for our cats.”

About: I've taken care of both big and small breeds and am perfectly comfortable rough housing with them. If you need someone who will play with your dog the way you do, I'm your girl. I've also protected my own dog from not so friendly pups and will do the same protection for your dog if it comes down to it. If your dog needs medication at a certain time or at meal times, I'm your girl. Your dog goes potty on puppy pads or is learning to go outside? I'll follow the schedule and pick up! I am currently a student. I have classes Monday-Thursday. Everyday except Tuesday I'm in class from 10am to 3pm. I'm available to do drop in outside those hours. I'm available weekends have my own car. I have experience with both large and small dogs. I'm perfectly capable of following a feeding schedule even with medication and restrictions. I have past experience with both things. I was living with 3 dogs at one point at the same time so I'm perfectly comfortable with taking care of more than one dog.
About: Growing up with an avid love for Dog Agility. I've spent my time trying to find any book or article out there that I haven't read. Currently in training to be a dog obedience trainer. Will add this service to my repertoire when I am certified. I currently don't work during the day, but I'm spending time out of work and school to get a business set up aside from everything. I'm aiming to spend more time perfecting my pet care experience. I do not offer in-home or out-of-home house sitting. I only aim to walk with dogs right now. In the future, I'll offer more services.
About: I have had almost every pet growing up that you can imagine. I have dog/cat sat for many families. We lost our last cat about a year ago and are recently retired(early retirement😀). I would love to watch your pet while you are away! I am retired and do vacation for about a month in Jan. During the summer my husband and I do a lot of fishing but I would definitely go around your pets schedule! Your pet will be treated as a family member at my home! Beds, couches and other furniture will NOT be off limits unless you specify otherwise. I do have a large yard unfortunately not fenced in but a park across the street for walking and exercising!
“Louka did a fantastic job providing drop-in service for cat while we were on an international trip. Louka hung out with our cat, fed him, cleaned the litter box, got our mail, etc. She also sent daily pictures and fun notes about how things were going. Louka is awesome and we look forward to working with her again!”

“Anna has been great! We have peace of mind knowing Anna is taking good care of our kitty while we are away. Our kitty gets nervous around new people but quickly warmed up to Anna. She provides us a recap of each visit and pictures which we love and look forward to receiving. She has also been great by bringing in packages that have been left on our doorstep.”

“Yuanqing (Ping Ping) was extraordinary! My cats are quite shy, but she kept me updated on them, and even managed to make friends with them! Really remarkable level of service. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I will be sure to request her services the next time I have to leave town.”

About: I've had dogs of my own my whole life, but really started to take on responsibilities around 16 years of age. Since then, I've had various dogs in my life with my own, different roommate's pets, etc. I've also been a helping hand to friends, coworkers, and family who are in need of assistance with their pets. I've dog-sat for weekends, a week, and all shapes and sizes of dogs! Overall, I'm a dog lover at heart and want to spend my free-time helping others with their pet needs! I am a registered nurse full-time, but this means I work 3, 12 hour shifts a week, so I still have a lot of free time to pick up flexible hours elsewhere. Unfortunately the days that I work are long, so I would only be looking to do pet care on my off days from my nursing job! I live in a quite, safe neighborhood that has great sidewalks and trails for walking! I am also willing to take the dog wherever you'd like me to for walks and play time!
North Oaks pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aaron took such great care of Reggie again! Being away for a long weekend can be hard on Reggie, but Aaron really made sure he felt comfortable—taking him to all his favorite spots and spending extra quality time with him. On top of looking after Reggie, Aaron kept an eye on my home as well, which I really appreciate. Always thoughtful, thorough, and communicative—it's such a relief knowing things are in good hands when I'm away!
