I work from home currently and have a lot of flexibility. My meetings tend to be in the mornings between 9-12. My schedule does vary. I would prefer to care for pets in their own home. In the right circumstance i would have a dog stay in my own home.

I work from home full-time, so I’m with the dogs all day — not just “checking in,” but truly present. We go on multiple walks each day, explore nearby trails, and take plenty of breaks for play, snuggles, and outside time. My own dog thrives with this routine, and I love extending that same level of care to the pets I host. Whether it’s managing medications, reinforcing training, or simply being a calm, consistent presence, pet care is a natural and joyful part of my everyday life. In my home, pets are treated like family. I maintain a calm, structured, and loving environment with plenty of time outdoors I follow your pet’s routines closely: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, and any house rules you use at home. Dogs are never left alone for more than a few hours (both my husband and I work from home), and we keep a close eye on how everyone’s adjusting — especially first-timers, puppies, or older pets who need extra support.

I'm a lifelong dog lover who has had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember. Growing up with 3 Labs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I'm committed to making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, getting belly rubs, or just having someone nearby, I'll make sure they get the attention they need. I understand that every dog is unique, and I'm happy to follow your pet's routine, preferences, and any special instructions to keep them happy and stress-free. I look forward to meeting you and your 4 legged family member! I am currently working full-time but I will happily make the time to care for your pup! I am available anytime after 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, and anytime after 1pm on Fridays. Most weeks I have Monday or Tuesday off. I am usually not available on the weekends but never say never! At your residence for a walk or a drop-in, I will do my best to keep it the same or better than I found it. I will also try my best to keep your pet on their regular schedule for feeding, walking, and playtime. I also have a female Yellow Lab of my own so if your dog likes other dogs I am more than happy to bring her for your pup to have some social time!

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met.
