About: I have taken care of friends and families pets for years. Now I am in college looking to put my animal loving heart to good use. I work part time but my afternoons are open, usually filled with a walk and I’d love to be accompanied by your furry friend! I am very good with animals and always try to keep them near me at all times because I understand how important they are to their owners.
“This was our first experience with Jeffery. He did an awesome job of taking care of our cat, Gilmore. I know our cat really liked Jeffery as well based on the great pictures he sent of him. I would highly recommend him!”

“Brianna has been doing drop in/walk visits with Parker. She’s fantastic with him, so clearly a dog lover!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of him, and I would highly recommend her!!”

“Tiffany and her daughter came into our home to watch Alex. They both did a wonderful job with Alex. He can be quite the challenge at times due to his anxiety issues. She kept us well informed and we also received pictures. Any questions that we had regarding Alex's well-being, she answered promptly. I would absolutely not hesitate to have Tiffany and her daughter to come back in our home to watch Alex in the future.”

“Heather is friendly, responsive and timely. She squeezed us in at the last minute (as our travel was last minute) despite having other appointments. Our doggie is sweet but has high anxiety and she did great.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my life and absolutely love them! My family has had lots of dogs from pit bulls to huskies and german shepherds. I currently have a 2 year old pomsky named Shiloh- he is super friendly and would love to meet your pup! I am currently working from home which makes me available to pet-sit at my apartment anytime, and lots of free time to take care of pups at your house as well! I live across the street from a park with a big field and a trail for walking dogs. I don’t have a fenced in yard or a crate, but I will 100% be able to walk them with a leash!
“Norah is the best Rover watcher we have ever had!! When she first came over to meet Kingston and Theodore, she brought and took notes throughout the doggy meet and greet. She was so prompt and took pictures of the boys every visit and they were loved and happy!! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their babies to have a lot of love!!”

About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.
“Tara was amazing! She sent really comforting messages and photos to me everyday I was on my trip. I could tell my cat got lots of pets and play time to keep her going interaction-wise through the long week I was out of town, something that was super important for her well being and Tara really did a great job on that front! I would definitely trust her with my cat’s care again in the future.”

“Alex took such great care of our kitties. While we were originally looking for simple feed and medication of our cats, Alex did so much more. She connected with our kitties and provided detailed updates including playtime, potty time activity, behaviors she noticed, etc. She also shared daily photos which really highlighted our kitties bond with her in such a short amount of time.”

“We were so glad Katherine could come back to care for our sweet kitty. She is a great support when we are out of town! Always communicative and thorough with updates. Definitely recommend!”

About: Life long pet owner, foster and caregiver. I’ve trained puppies and provided end of life care for senior dogs. Very comfortable with large dogs and even angry cats because they need love too. Comfortable giving medication as well. I work from home with a very flexible daytime schedule. I am available until 5pm daily. Would be open to chatting about scheduling if more care was needed. I have a large fenced in yard, and a friendly cat. We have lots of toys and a little dog pool. I am clean and respectful when entering your home. I enjoy a long walk almost as much as our furry friends.
About: I just love spending time and taking care of all animals. My pup is a senior now and can’t take the long walks and hikes we used to do all over the country. I would enjoy taking care of your loves when you may not necessarily have the time to be there with them! I work from home and my BFF Luca a ten year old male cattle dog and I have a consistent schedule, we go out for a walk every four hours. Sometimes just to sniff or stretch our legs! Very flexible. I can adjust to any potty schedule or needs as I work from home. I live a on the first floor and can access outside without the use of any stairs.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and genuine love I give every animal. I have been pet sitting and walking dogs since I was seven years old, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I am the type of person who throws my own dog extravagant birthday parties, and I truly believe animals are family. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and fish, and I am comfortable with pets of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether that means being playful and active with younger pets or patient and gentle with senior animals, I adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I also understand how important communication and trust are when leaving a pet in someone else’s care, so I make it a priority to keep owners updated and give them peace of mind. ’m currently looking for a summer job and have lots of availability, which means I can be flexible and fully present for your pet’s needs. Since I already care for my own pets daily, including walks, playtime, feeding, and training, pet care is naturally part of my everyday routine. I love spending time with animals, and I’m excited to help other pet parents feel at ease while they’re away! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat them like I would my own—with patience, love, and lots of attention. I follow your routine as closely as possible so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their normal environment. Whether it’s sticking to feeding times, going on their favorite walking route, or just spending time with them so they’re not lonely, I do my best to help them feel at ease. I also make sure to be respectful of your home and leave things just as I found them. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your pet and be in your space, and I take that seriously.
Centerville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Alex was great with my two cats! She was reliable and sent detailed updates and pictures twice daily. She gave them food, made sure the water fountain was full and scooped both litter boxes. She played with them, gave pets and scratches, and brushed them as well. She went above and beyond to get to know them and understand each cat. She was patient with my scardy cat Milo. It was such a relief to be able to feel at ease, knowing she was there caring for my cats. Both were happy and content when I got home. I highly recommend Alex and would definitely use her again to watch my two cats.
