“I have been fortunate enough to have Julie check-in on our cats while we were on vacation several times in the past few years. Julie is absoultely the best. She is professional with great communication, trustworthy, fair, and most important good with our pets. Thank you!”

“Highly recommend Tara for your sitter needs. She has great communication and even made sure our rats had water and food in there dishes. Thanks for the great care!”

“Heather was wonderful with our two cats. She was attentive and communicated well throughout the entire process. Our cats loved her and one is usually especially skeptical of people outside of our family. We are happy to have a wonderful new sitter to watch our fur babies.”

About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I work about 12 hours a week spread over two days at a museum and attend graduate school online. This makes me very flexible to meet your pets needs! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away! If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.

“Katelyn took very good care of Shadow. Her feedback from her daily visits put me at ease, and I enjoyed getting the pictures from her visits.”

“Alex spent extra time with Mitsy and even brought over new toys to share during her visits. Mitsy not super friendly with new people, but she likes Alex. Thank you for taking good care of her while I was away!”

“Meredith did a great job with our senior dogs. One of our dogs requires twice daily injections. She was very thorough and took the time to understand the best method for delivering the medication.”

“Aaron did such a fantastic job with Reggie during a drop-in visit! My dog is usually quite shy and sensitive, but during our meet and greet, Reggie warmed up to Aaron so quickly—it was clear he felt safe and comfortable right away. Aaron was great with communication and made scheduling super easy. When I came to pick up my keys, Reggie was with me and absolutely lit up when he saw Aaron again—tail wags, full-body wiggles, the whole thing. It was instant best-friend status! Reggie is pretty selective about who he gets that excited for, so it really means a lot knowing he's in such good hands. Huge thanks, Aaron, for being such a kind new friend for Mr. Reggieman!”

About: I have taken care of many animals in my life; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, fish, and more. I am also very good at taking care of senior animals or animals with special attention in general as I have lots of experience with picky eaters, sensitive diets, allergies, and medication. I am also CPR certified for dogs and cats in the case of an emergency. I am a very clean individual so I will keep your home neat while also providing loving care for your pet. I care deeply for all animals and can assure that your pets needs will be put first above everything else! I understand that schedules are tricky to maneuver so I am able to work whenever I am needed as long as I don’t have another pet care gig at the same time. I am very good at matching energy with animals so I can play with them for hours or take them on long walks if they are energetic or simply sit around with them with shorter walks if they are older. I am also really good at following directions so if you have special instructions for your pet, I will follow them perfectly! Otherwise I will use my knowledge on animals to assure that your pet is happy and healthy the entire time you’re gone!

About: I have had professional animal care training at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge as a part of the Activity Staff. This included walking, playing, feeding, and cleaning the dogs temporary home! I’m a college kid who’s home for the summer so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet friendly needs! :) I tend to the needs of the dog while maintaining a safe and respectful attitude. I look out for the safety of the dog first.

“Amy is great! She was quick to respond and sent lots of pics and updates. Our cats were very happy when we got home and the house and garden were well taken care of. Our previous pet-sitter left Rover so we had to find a new one and Amy did not disappoint. So glad to have found someone we can trust.”

“Katherine is patient, understanding, and kind. We are so grateful for her ability to help last minute, and we are already planning for another booking!”

About: As an adult I’ve adopted 3 dogs and fostered another 3. Puppies to seniors, a 10 lb chihuahua to a 70 lb shepherd mix. I have a fully fenced yard that is great for dogs! (Assuming they can’t climb over a 4 ft fence; if they can I usually hook the dog onto a very long tether so they have room to roam but not make an escape over the fence). My lot is about .43 acres and is more long and narrow than square so it gives a lot of room to run for games of fetch. I’m a huge lover/sucker for a good pupper dog but don’t currently have any pets of my own because I’ve been on a travel kick the past year. Signing up for Rover kills two birds with one stone for me because I can get my animal fix with other people’s pets and make some extra money for travel. I work fully remote from my house so that enables me to give potty breaks as often as needed, however, depending on my meeting schedule certain days I may not be able to take on dogs who bark excessively because they could disrupt my work calls. I don’t have a ton of experience with cats though I did live with my ex-husband’s cat for 7 yrs. We briefly had two cats because a stray who was an exact look-a-like for our cat showed up on our doorstep once and I assumed it was our cat and that she had gotten outside and let the stray in 🤣 At the time we already had 2 dogs and a cat and a ton of fish so we kept the stray only until we found a new home for him. I work a lot of hours for my day job but my hours are fairly flexible since my company is 2 hrs behind in Seattle, and I work fully from home, so I am confident I’ll have the bandwidth to take care of pets in my home or can go over my lunch break to other people’s homes to look in on their pets. I have a fully fenced yard, a crate of necessary, and a fair number of toys to keep them entertained. My son also loves pets and I’m sure will go nuts wanting to play with any animals that are around. My son is almost 8 and has a lot of experience with animals. Obviously my son’s safety is paramount for me so when he is staying with me I’ll only be interested in boarding animals that are good with children.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats and rabbits my whole life. I’ve cared for them and I have also helped friends and family to care for their pets. I’m home for the summer and have nothing going on so I am available to care for your pets during the day or on weekends. I will be respectful of your home and I will leave it exactly the same way I found it. It will be like I wasn’t even there.

About: I am a cat and dog lover for decades! I want to help care for your pets when you aren’t able to be with them! My Fridays are flexible this spring and summer. As a runner and experienced dog walker, I’d love to help provide exercise for your pets who enjoy runs! I look forward to caring for your pet friends in your home. I enjoy feeding, grooming, walking and caring for the overall well-being of your pet.

About: Hello! We would love to welcome some new dogs into our home either for short trips or longer stays. Our family has a 4 year old golden doodle who loves to play with other dogs. We are an active homeschooling family and my husband works from home as well so someone is home a majority of the day! The kids are often playing in our large fenced in backyard and love to throw balls, run around with or just snuggle with dogs! We love to get out for walks and spend a lot of time on the couch reading so there are ample amounts of time we can spend loving on your fur-babies! Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to see if our family would be a good fit. We want to be a place where you can feel comfortable leaving your dogs while you are away! For the safety of my family, my dog, and your dog we require all pets to have a meet and greet before booking. This will allow us to make sure that we are a good fit for each other and that I can provide all the care your pet needs while also keeping my family safe. As a homeschooling family and work-from-home dad someone is usually home during the day. We can work with the families to make sure that we can provide all the love and care that your dog needs and desires! We have a fenced in backyard and a sweet medium sized goldendoodle to keep your dogs happy and well exercised! As each dog is different we are happy to work with families to make your dogs stay away from home as comfortable as possible!

Katie T.
“Katie is an awesome pet caregiver. She is the best person to deal with all dogs and all dog personalities. She takes great care of her own dog and I don’t think it’d be any different for other furry animals. She also is very reliable, responsible, and disciplined. If you overlook Katie as being your pet caregiver, it’d be a big mistake!”
