About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and we currently have two Lab mixes, ages 13 and 8. Caring for our senior dog has also given me firsthand experience with the extra patience, attention and slower pace older pups sometimes need. About: I’ve owned cats for all my life. I currently have two male cats, Sam and Castiel (Cass). Sam is my cautious boy who thinks he’s invisible if he closes his eyes when he tries to steal something, and Cass is my fat man who has a lot to say. I have given medications in both pill and liquid format and am very familiar with topical meds like flea and tick preventative. I also help with my sister’s elderly cat (20 years old!) in giving him his insulin. I even have experience giving subcutaneous IV treatments to cats. If your kitty needs extra medical attention, I’ve got that covered. I love cats so much, from playing with them to cuddling on the couch, you can trust me with your kitty’s well-being. I am also very good with spicier kitties who need extra time and space and I can guarantee they will wind up loving me. About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. In late August I will be headed back to work at a school nearby but working relatively short hours. We love to go on walks, to the dog park, the human park or just lounge in the back yard. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a large back yard. It is not fenced in but I do have a long line. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. I have experience with potty training, medication administration, and reinforcing basic training commands. I work day shift while my husband, Chad, works evening shift. One of us are home most of the time - there might be a few hours in the afternoon/evening when we both work. We crate our pups when they’re home alone and have a dog camera to monitor them closely. About: I grew up raising cattle, goats, and horses. I have had pet dogs, cats, and fish all my life. I was a vet tech in my early twenties, and a milk goat and chicken owner in my thirties. My family and I currently live with and care for a dog, cats, and an indoor rabbit. I went through the AKC good citizen training with our current dog, and use only positive behavior strategies. I love all animals, and love to house sit and pet sit for friends and family. I am an elementary special education teacher and currently have the time to pet and house sit for more families in order to make extra income for my kids’ college fund. I am also a master gardener and love caring for plants as well as pets! I am an elementary special education teacher, so I have an open schedule during the summer, weekends, and holidays. I am able to give your pet the time and attention it deserves. I treat my pets as important and treasured members of the family. I promise to treat your pets the same as I treat mine. I may occasionally bring my sons, they have grown up around dogs and are very respectful. Update: I am currently only available for walks and drop ins. My yard is fully fenced. Hank is kenneled if I leave the house. I also have two larger kennels and can accommodate kennel trained pups. My dogs will always be kenneled if I leave the house. For sleeping I usually follow what the client prefers but at no time would your dog be left unsupervised with mine. If your dog likes to sleep on the couch at night I will kennel my dogs. We are knowledgeable and aware of foods dogs should and shouldn’t have.
