Lifelong animal caregiver
I grew up raising cattle, goats, and horses. I have had pet dogs, cats, and fish all my life. I was a vet tech in my early twenties, and a milk goat and chicken owner in my thirties. My family and I currently live with and care for a dog, cats, and an indoor rabbit. I went through the AKC good citizen training with our current dog, and use only positive behavior strategies. I love all animals, and love to house sit and pet sit for friends and family. I am an elementary special education teacher and currently have the time to pet and house sit for more families in order to make extra income for my kids’ college fund. I am also a master gardener and love caring for plants as well as pets!

I treat my pets as important and treasured members of the family. I promise to treat your pets the same as I treat mine. I take pet sitting very seriously, and will do my very best to make sure your family member is getting lots of love and attention and living its best life while you are away. I know I would want the same in a pet sitter!

Helen was so sweet from the moment we met, and very on top of things. She not only took great care of our five cats, but also my many plants. The cats took to her instantly and we were able to vacation without any worries because Helen frequently updated us and sent us pictures all the time.
Helen was wonderful with our pup, especially with a last minute request!
Helen is great with my boisterous dogs and really thorough with communication! 5 stars all the way, and I will be booking again!

I am an elementary special education teacher, so I have an open schedule during the summer, weekends, and holidays. I am able to give your pet the time and attention it deserves.
