About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and we currently have two Lab mixes, ages 13 and 8. Caring for our senior dog has also given me firsthand experience with the extra patience, attention and slower pace older pups sometimes need. We’re a dog-loving family of four with a large, fully fenced backyard and a dog-friendly neighborhood perfect for walks. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. After 16+ years in the corporate world, an unexpected career change gave me the opportunity to pursue something I’ve always dreamed about—working with dogs! I also have a degree in Operations Management, so reliability, organization and communication are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to safely run, play and explore, plus a dog-friendly neighborhood for walks. We have two Lab mixes of our own and will always make sure introductions are comfortable for everyone. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time and any special instructions you provide. I’m an experienced pet caregiver with over 40 years of hands-on time caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, and a genuine passion for ensuring pets feel happy and at home while their families are away. I have a special spot in my heart for senior dogs and cats but I also love puppies and kittens, and everything in between! I've cared for my own dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, and birds for over 40 years, so I understand the daily routines, quirks, and needs of all kinds of companions. I'm especially attuned to dogs and cats—I read their body language exceptionally well and know what they're "saying. "For example, a slow blink from a cat is their way of saying "I love you," while a soft "mee mee" often means "come here." With dogs, I always approach respectfully: letting them sniff my open palm first (never reaching over their head, as it can feel dominant), then gently petting the shoulder and down the side. Energy matters so much—staying calm, happy, and positive helps even anxious pets relax quickly. I have a whole "warehouse" of these insights from years of close observation, and I love using them to build trust and joy. I'm reliable, patient, and genuinely excited to care for your pets as if they were my own. I'll play with them, give plenty of love and cuddles, follow your instructions to a T, and make sure they feel at home. Being away from your furry family is tough—I get it, and I'll do my best to keep things feeling normal and happy for them (and send you lots of updates and pictures so you can see for yourself!). I can provide most of the same loving care as other sitters—feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, toy fun, and house check-ins—but due to some mobility limits, I focus on shorter, gentle walks (up to about 15 minutes) or indoor/outdoor potty time and enrichment instead of longer neighborhood strolls. This works wonderfully for calmer dogs, seniors, smaller breeds, or cats who prefer cozy companionship. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's energy level and needs! Availability I'm generally flexible and can arrange visits to fit your pet's schedule—morning, midday, evening, and bedtime routines. I can do drop-in visits, overnight sitting (if selected), or daily check-ins to ensure they're fed, pottied, loved, and happy throughout the day. A typical day We'll start with feeding, fresh water, and a gentle potty break or short walk if your pet enjoys it. Then lots of playtime with toys, gentle petting and interaction based on their cues, maybe some training games or just relaxing together. I'll refill water as needed, clean up any messes, and give plenty of love and attention. Everything will be done with your preferences in mind, plus updates and photos for you!

About: I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, skill levels, and with many different conditions. I've owned and cared for many rescues who have experienced trauma and separation anxiety. I volunteer as the head steward of a local off leash dog park. I've had dogs my entire life, currently I have a partially deaf sheepadoodle and a goldendoodle who is timid at first but they both love to run and play with their dog friends. I am primarily a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos that I homeschool. I do work a few hours a week at a local playground in town. We are very rarely gone from home for more than a couple hours at a time, even that isn't very common. We like to take field trips with our daycare dogs if the owners are comfortable: walk, playground, dog park, pet store, ECT. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love to have doggy friends over to play in our big fenced in back yard. I have 3 kiddos who adore dogs and are very educated on treating them with respect and understand boundaries with dogs. The dogs are allowed free reign of the yard and the house. We do allow pet on the furniture. We do have kennels on hand if needed for alone time, feeding, sleep, or in the office chance I need to leave the house while watching your dog.

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.
