About: I'm not sure if this sets me apart from anyone on this site but, I love dogs. My family loves dogs. We have had them in our lives for our entire lives, some shorter for shorter spurts than others. One thing I found out from each gifted moment was that dogs are not just there to own. They are there for us as much as we are for them sometimes more. We offer a family setting full of love and joy, pets and snuggles. My wife is a certified dog instructor who has worked for rover in the past. I loved doing it so much I wanted to take it back up! Pet care can be implemented at any point throughout the day. I can take them for regularly scheduled walks if necessary upon availability (to avoid double bookings) I have a fully 6 ft privacy fenced yard (60×85). We have many dog toys we have retained from previous loved ones and two energetic children that love to run and play. Comfy surfaces everywhere.
10. Jen W.
“Jen is an absolute angel!! She sends many updates throughout the day, including pictures and videos. Her family (and her pups) are so accommodating and easy to work with. Everyone has been so patient with Igor as he learns how to be a dog with her pack. 💜”

About: Our family started fostering puppies during COVID as a great volunteer opportunity to do together. Now we want to welcome more dogs into our home who can play with our social golden retriever. By choosing us, you get four people to love on your pet. Our daughters are 9 and 12 and are very responsible and love to throw the ball in the backyard for dogs. We have hosted over a dozen foster puppies and now many Rovers in our home and we are excited to meet your dog! We work from home part time and the kids are also home all day during the summer. We have staggered schedules so dogs are only alone for 6 hours when we are at work/school. I have a 1/3 acre fenced yard. I prefer to kennel dogs overnight for sleeping but they are free to roam in the house and the backyard all day. Our golden has never met another dog she doesn't love!
12. Jesse B.
“Jesse was so sweet to my little guy. He made sure Max had a safe place to feel comfortable and safe. Max came home happy and completely exhausted after visiting with Jesse!”
13. Jackie H.
“First time dropping off our dog with someone new and we had a great experience! We appreciate Jackie for taking photos and keeping us updated throughout the day. Our dog had an amazing day on walks and was well taken care of! Absolutely recommend☺️?”
14. Sandra S.

About: As an adult I’ve adopted 3 dogs and fostered another 3. Puppies to seniors, a 10 lb chihuahua to a 70 lb shepherd mix. I have a fully fenced yard that is great for dogs! (Assuming they can’t climb over a 4 ft fence; if they can I usually hook the dog onto a very long tether so they have room to roam but not make an escape over the fence). My lot is about .43 acres and is more long and narrow than square so it gives a lot of room to run for games of fetch. I’m a huge lover/sucker for a good pupper dog but don’t currently have any pets of my own because I’ve been on a travel kick the past year. Signing up for Rover kills two birds with one stone for me because I can get my animal fix with other people’s pets and make some extra money for travel. I work fully remote from my house so that enables me to give potty breaks as often as needed, however, depending on my meeting schedule certain days I may not be able to take on dogs who bark excessively because they could disrupt my work calls. I don’t have a ton of experience with cats though I did live with my ex-husband’s cat for 7 yrs. We briefly had two cats because a stray who was an exact look-a-like for our cat showed up on our doorstep once and I assumed it was our cat and that she had gotten outside and let the stray in 🤣 At the time we already had 2 dogs and a cat and a ton of fish so we kept the stray only until we found a new home for him. I work a lot of hours for my day job but my hours are fairly flexible since my company is 2 hrs behind in Seattle, and I work fully from home, so I am confident I’ll have the bandwidth to take care of pets in my home or can go over my lunch break to other people’s homes to look in on their pets. I have a fully fenced yard, a crate of necessary, and a fair number of toys to keep them entertained. My son also loves pets and I’m sure will go nuts wanting to play with any animals that are around. My son is almost 8 and has a lot of experience with animals. Obviously my son’s safety is paramount for me so when he is staying with me I’ll only be interested in boarding animals that are good with children.
16. Sheri S.
“Sheri was the foster mom of my mini- schnauzer that I adopted. She was the best foster mom; giving lots of attention and care! Sheri really cares about all animals and that is why I recommend her for care for your pet. You can rest assured that they are in great hands while you are gone!”
17. Shana S.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old when my family decided to embark on a foster home journey for German Sheppard’s and mixes. Being a former foster parent, I am conscious of the needs of different dogs, able to accommodate new schedules and need of your furry friend! Dogs have always been a big part of my life, with this passion I am so happy to provide love and care to your furry family memebers! I have a flexible in office work schedule but would need to be away for 6 hours 2 days per week (usually Mondays and Tuesdays). I give the same love, care and time dedication to our furry guests as I do my own dog, Chevy. I have a larger fenced in yard with plenty of room for your furry family member to run around and play, as well as a mild mannered and friendly 11 year old golden retriever, Chevy to keep your pets company.
18. Mary H.
