About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 30 years of experience caring for family pets. Feeding, walking, playing, and giving them lots of love has always been a natural part of my life. We don’t have any pets of our own right now, so we’re excited for the opportunity to love on and care for other people’s pets! Every pet is unique, and I’ll make sure yours feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your furry family member like one of my own. We are business owners and a homeschool family with 4 animal loving kids without any pets of our own right now- we would love the opportunity to love on your pets when you can't! We have a mostly fenced in yard and a walking path! We enjoy being active and always choose pet friendly locations wherever we go! Our goal is to keep your pet feeling loved and safe when in our care! If you're open to children tagging along & your pup is comfortable with us we would love make this a family venture, but understand if that doesn't make sense for you!
“Kelly and Jim and their family take excellent care of our pup. They have a clean and loving home that gives me confidence my dog will be in a wonderful environment while we're away. Plus their dog has become a great buddy and playmate for our Archie.”

“Tori was well taken care of during her stay at Susie’s. Susie is delightful and enjoys keeping dogs. You can see by her enthusiasm and sense of pride in her care. Definitely will use her again.”

“Katie did an amazing job with our dog, Casey! Casey was well cared for, loved, and treated like one of the family! She kept me updated and sent pictures! We highly recommend Katie for your dog sitting needs!”

“Angela watched our dogs on short notice after the family friend who regularly watches them cancelled two days in advance of our departure date. She is very dog-savvy. Right-away, she let them into the backyard to find and "mark" their spots. They got along well with her puppy, but because they are older, she also allowed them quiet time when there were no puppy antics underway. Our border collie got to spend lots of time outside, which he loves, but doesn't get much of because we do not have a fenced yard. Angela sent several pictures of our dogs every day, which was sweet and reassuring. Apart from 2 weeks with my daughter, our dogs who are both going on 13 have not spent time away from home since they were one year old. Our dog who is very insecure was very unhappy - but nothing that coming home and several meals of Kowalski's meatloaf could not fix.”

“Jessica was amazing. Consistent and clear communication and she was very attentive to my dog’s needs. She adapted to his routines and took great photos where I could see he was having a great time. It was very easy to organize the meets, and she even dropped my dog off directly when I returned home. A perfect experience and I highly recommend Jessica if you need someone who is experienced, diligent, and responsible! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies and senior dogs with special needs. I have experience administering oral medications and providing compassionate care for senior dogs with hearing and vision impairments. I understand the extra patience, consistency, and gentle attention they need to feel secure. I work from home three days a week, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and personalized attention throughout the day. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine, so your dog will never feel like an afterthought. Whether it's regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply relaxing together, I'm able to give each dog the time and care they deserve. My flexible schedule helps me maintain a consistent routine, ensuring your pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have plenty of green space for your dog to do their business or run around for exercise. I am able to take them for walks around the neighborhood or relax and chill on the couch.
“Davis and Emma did a great job with my dog for the weekend! Very responsive with lots of pictures. Ayda looked like she had a great time, and I would definitely rebook with them!”

“Jessica treated my boys with such love and care! I didn’t have to worry about them at all when I was away on vacation. She provided regular updates and photos. They even did an arts and crafts day and sent home their masterpieces.”

“Jessica was the best! After a bit of a fiasco with another sitter, Jessica came through last minute and was a great back up. I will absolutely book her again. Our dog came home absolutely exhausted, but so happy, and we can't thank her enough for helping us out this weekend!”

“If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We just had our black lab Jake stay with Tammy and John for a week and we could not have loved his care more. We received daily pictures, videos and updates showing him having the time of his life. He is high energy and they wore this guy out 😂 They exceeded our expectations and he was extremely spoiled and loved. 1000% recommend and we will be bringing Jake back. Thank you Tammy and John so so much!!”

“Kyle took such good care of my baby Reba! Kyle had high communication with me regarding an ear infection that my pup was struggling with and even took her to the vet when she needed to be seen. My pup was at Kyle’s for over a week and had the happiest demeanor when I picked her up. It was clear to me that she was treated well and had a good time. I’ll definitely use Kyle again for Reba’s care.”

“Jailene was fantastic with my dog Riley. She sent regular update, photos, and videos. He stayed over the 4th of July holiday, and Jailene had great questions beforehand to make sure he was comfortable.”

“Maria was amazing with our Rottie! She kept us updated and ensured Maple had the best time ever with lots of cuddles and love! Will definitely rebook in the near future!”

“We are so grateful for the care our girls received while at Bryan and Sean’s. We are fairly new to Minnesota and have been looking for a safe space for our dogs to land while we travel. This filled that need. They asked great questions initially and sent us pictures throughout their stay. At the end we got the sweetest card thanking us to our trust and we got the cutest printed pictures. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you!”

“Sophan & her Husband were amazing! They took such great care of our girl and we got updates every night! So happy we found such a great family to look after our girl!❤️”

“She was fantastic with the dogs. Dogs were a challenge at times. Cooper and Ranger has never been in a fenced area and like to bark alot at unfamiliar things happening around them. We live in an area with no neighbors. I would use her again in the future if it would be acceptable to her.”

“Maria was lovely to work with! She’s super flexible and responsive, sends great photos, and even went above and beyond to take Zoey on walks despite having a yard! Overall great experience!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
