“Dogs really enjoy themselves here! It’s an open, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can play and socialize with the other pups. I love a good environment that’s comfortable for both dogs and children, and this place fits right in. They have a big backyard for the dogs to run and burn off energy, and overall it seemed like a perfect fit for ours. They’re also very communicative and send pictures, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend! 🐾💛”

“Anna was GREAT with our pups. She was so communicative while we were away, and our dogs came home happy and tired. That’s the sign of a great time! We would trust our dogs with Anna again anytime!”

“Michelle is the best and Juno just loves coming here. She does a great job sending lots of photos and giving us updates, she really treats the animals that stay with her as if they are at home.”

“This was a great experience for both us and Louie. We appreciated the pictures that showed Louie outside, walking and smiling! Knowing he was doing well made us feel comfortable and worry free.”

“Our dog Marge enjoyed her second stay just as much as the first and was equally spoiled! Great to have peace of mind that she is being cared for while we’re away.”

“I don’t think Birdie wanted to come home! It seems like she had a great time at Lan’s house and Lan followed all care instructions to the letter. It was my first time using Rover and Lan made me feel like my gal was in great hands. Thank you!”

“Dave is such a wonderful person and caretaker. He checks in often, sending pictures and updates, and additionally isn’t afraid to ask questions (which is great, all dogs are different!). My girl, Lenny, clearly loves him and enjoys all the time she spends with Dave and his family. 10/10 recommend highly.”

“Ali was great and communicated to us throughout our trip perfectly. She was very flexible, and Piper seemed to have a great time with her and her family! Would love to go back there again next time”

“Betsy was a great sitter for our slightly anxious little girl. She was very responsive and provided plenty of comfort during the stay. I highly recommend booking with Betsy!”

“Wes was wonderful with our dog Zoey! Zoey is a senior dog and needs a bit of extra attention, and Wes and his family gave her just that! Received photos throughout her stay, would definitely recommend & use again in the future.”

“Thanks for taking such good care of our mini-schnauzer when we were out of town. He clearly had a good time. We appreciate the communications and updated when he was at your home.”

“Maria was so kind when we met her and then followed up with outstanding care the 5 days we were gone. We received photos and videos and text messages daily. She responded to us promptly if we texted with any questions. Highly recommend Maria for your pet needs.”

“Lauren and James did such an amazing job with our dog while we were out of town for a week. They sent awesome updates every day and such cute pictures. Winston felt right at home with them and they loved him like their own. He probably had more fun with them than he does at home! He came back fulfilled and happy. We will absolutely work with Lauren and James again when we have a trip come up.”

“Madigan had a great first visit with Sarah and her crew! Will definitely consider working with her again given the great communication and updates before and during the stay.”

“Another amazing weekend of having our baby watched by Jess!! Millie loves her weekends at their house and has come home so much calmer than other sitters she has stayed with before! Feels so good knowing our gal is in good care. Thanks Jessica and family!”

“Derek and his family take such good care of our dogs, we have booked with him several times now. When we drop them off and they go inside his house they don't even look back at us lol. This time we booked last minute and over the 4th of July holiday weekend so it was a double whammy. We were so relieved to find out Derek was available! Thanks to Derek and his family we know our dogs have a home away from home 😊 Thanks again Derek! We'll be booking again soon.”

“Debbie was very kind, flexible and sweet to my baby-dog. She even did a night for free at the beginning to help make sure my dog was settled in her home. I appreciate all th love and care Debbie and her family put in. She sent me pictures twice a day and was very accessible during the entire thing! Amazing sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lexington
Alisha and Cameron were amazing with my dog! They provided daily updates and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. They have a huge backyard where the dogs can play and enjoy plenty of space. They are a very friendly, easygoing family, and it’s clear how much they care for the dogs they watch. My dog seemed so happy spending time with them and socializing with the other dogs. I would definitely recommend Alisha and Cameron to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy place for their furry friend!

Chelsea and her wonderful family were amazing! We've never been disappointed by a Rover sitter before, but our dog always acted off for a couple of days when we would get back. Chelsea is the first sitter where this did NOT happen in the slightest! Our dog didn't miss a beat and was as happy and herself as ever when we returned. She clearly not only had fun but felt secure and had a routine! Would definitely use again on our next trip to the area!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
