“Jessica was the best! After a bit of a fiasco with another sitter, Jessica came through last minute and was a great back up. I will absolutely book her again. Our dog came home absolutely exhausted, but so happy, and we can't thank her enough for helping us out this weekend!”

“Alvin is treated like a prince, pampered and spoiled. Elsa has investigated why his teeth are bad and purchased a syringe to improve his water intake. I love receiving pictures and films of Alvin playing with Elsa & Nick, and enjoying new friends. I appreciate that they were able to train him to use the stairs, and provide a bath. I could not ask for better care. I am able to relax knowing Alvin is enjoying a 5 star vacation.”

“Jailene was fantastic with my dog Riley. She sent regular update, photos, and videos. He stayed over the 4th of July holiday, and Jailene had great questions beforehand to make sure he was comfortable.”

“Kari and her family are great and took exceptional care of our dog, Leo. I received a brief update with how things were going along with some pics each morning. We absolutely will utilize their services again! Big fans.”
“The whole family loves animals and knows how to keep a happy calm household. The fenced in yard has shade and places to play and explore. The human family can watch the canine family through the patio door too.”

“Fantastic service and Katie really made me feel like I was leaving my dog in great hands. Excellent communication and gave me updates throughout the stay! This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous about leaving my dog at first but that nervousness faded as soon as I got to know Katie. Will absolutely recommend Rover and Katie to whoever needs a dog sitter!”

“My dogs has such an amazing experience, they really felt at home and had lots of space to play with their new friends. I loved receiving all the updates and how comforting and accommodating Bryan and his family were. Will definitely book again!”

“Maria was an amazing sitter for my dog, Yogi, during her two-week stay! She provided exceptional care, keeping me updated with timely messages, pictures, and details about Yogi’s days. Maria’s spacious yard was perfect for exercise, and her neighborhood provided a great environment for walks. Maria is incredibly responsive and attentive, making the whole experience while I was awayy stress-free. I could see how happy and well-cared-for Yogi was while I was away, and she enjoyed it. Thank you so much, Maria! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter.”

“Bridget did a great job watching our pup and he seemed to have a great time. They went on lots of walks and he enjoyed her home, even her two cats. She sent photos and kept in contact with us throughout the week. Would recommend!”

About: Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies and senior dogs with special needs. I have experience administering oral medications and providing compassionate care for senior dogs with hearing and vision impairments. I understand the extra patience, consistency, and gentle attention they need to feel secure. I work from home three days a week, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and personalized attention throughout the day. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine, so your dog will never feel like an afterthought. Whether it's regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply relaxing together, I'm able to give each dog the time and care they deserve. My flexible schedule helps me maintain a consistent routine, ensuring your pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have plenty of green space for your dog to do their business or run around for exercise. I am able to take them for walks around the neighborhood or relax and chill on the couch.
“They were the most amazing family to have watch our two dogs. We reached out with very short notice and they took them in right away. They gave us updates every day and always sent pictures. Best family on Rover!”

“We have used Brittany several times. Our dog is always happy and wagging his tail when he arrives. Brittany always does a great job taking care of him - especially since he is blind and needs a little extra help.”

“Madigan had a great first visit with Sarah and her crew! Will definitely consider working with her again given the great communication and updates before and during the stay.”

His response to my initial post was fast, the booking process was simple, he thoroughly described what I should expect during my dog’s stay and he was an excellent care giver. He sent videos of Milo and he responded to all of my questions. I will definitely book with Dustin again. I highly recommend him as a sitter who will treat your pup like family.”

“Tobi had a great time with Brooklyn and her family. He loved their little girl and got along great with their gentle Bernese Mountain Dog. I received updates once or twice a day with cute photos. Brooklyn was accommodating of my request to change the pickup time. We look forward to having Tobi stay with Brooklyn again.”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Catherine sent daily updates and photos, which were much appreciated, and lots of special treats and special love were given. Zuri also enjoyed having another dog to play with, as she is an only child. I would highly recommend Catherine and will definitely use her again.”

Fernanda did a wonderful job watching Mia! She, her daughter, and their dog were all so sweet, and Mia seemed to feel right at home and get along with everyone really well. We really appreciated the photos Fernanda sent while we were away—they gave us peace of mind and helped us feel connected to Mia while we were missing her.

We booked with Kristin R. for a weekend trip. We made the reservation at the last minute and Kristin was great at accommodating us. Our dog is old with some health problems, along with a finicky appetite. Kristin did a great job dealing with his medications and feeding. She was wonderful at keeping us appraised of his stay with her. I’d be happy to book with her again!

Lori was amazing with our Goldendoodle Emmy. Our dog was on two different medications at the time and Lori handled that with ease. She always sent updates on what they were doing! Emmy is very prone to stress and Lori gave her so much love and attention that I think Emmy would have stayed even longer! I really appreciate the love and care Lori gave our baby.

Shevon and Ian took excellent care of my poodle, Basca. They even set aside a request to watch another dog because it was her first time and she can get overwhelmed. And they understood about her being a flight risk. They sent me pictures and reports every day. In addition to all of this, they’re just as nice as they can be. I absolutely recommend them! -Tracy Wilson

Amy took great care of my dog Maple! Maple is dog-reactive and takes a while to warm up to people, but Amy showed him nothing but patience and made it a great, fun stay for him. She asked great questions at our meet and greet and when I dropped him off to make sure she knew his favorite toys and games, his meal and treat habits, and how to make him feel supported. I felt assured he was in safe and attentive hands! She even agreed to keep him an extra night when our flight got delayed, and her flexibility and understanding turned a minor nightmare into a small hiccup. Apologies to the neighbors that had to listen to Maple bark all weekend, but huge thanks to Amy! 💖

We were so glad that Jada took care of our very senior dog! He's 17 years old and never boarded before. She took care of his feeding and medication needs, gave him frequent walks, and did a great job of communicating. We were able to do our cruise, and our dog came home healthy and happy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
