About: Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm new to Rover though certainly not to pet care! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, so I'm lucky to have grown up with a family who owned both cats and dogs, teaching me the responsibilities of pet care from a very young age. Additionally, I spent 3 years throughout highschool and into college employed as a supervising kennel attendant at a dog and cat boarding facility. In this role, I learned so much about the patience, attention-to-detail, compassion, and dependability required for pet caretaking, and can say with confidence that these assets have stuck with me and now shape the way that I care for my own pet, Mickey :) I've had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of practically all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also experienced in administering medications, caring for pets with seizures, and faciliating pet socialization! I understand how difficult it can be to leave home and trust your fur baby with someone new. In caring for pets in clients' homes, I communicate effectively about your animal's favorite activities, toys, treats, etc. in order to best provide them with comfort and fun while you are away!

About: I grew up always having a dog and have been watching others’ dogs since early high school. Neighbors, friends, and family have entrusted me to walk, feed, and comfort their pets while away. I have experience watching multiple dogs at a time and caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I do have experience caring for elderly dogs as well as dogs who need insulin shots, topical medication, or oral medications. I, in particular, love to care for and support dogs who may be feeling anxious when their family is gone. I’m available weekdays and weekends by request. Depending on the needs of your pets, I can be available for quick, frequent trips or longer extended stays. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their personality, their preferences, and needs. With your guidance, I will accommodate their care to make sure they feel as loved and safe as possible. For walking dogs, I always use a leash but am also comfortable watching them roam in a private, fenced-in area. All animals deserve a dependable and loving caregiver while their loved ones are gone, and I’d be honored to be one that you and your pets can trust.

About: I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I think they key thing is to keep up with their regular routines and following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation it can also be a vacation for the dog(s). But if a dog needs specific guidelines and rules then it’s more important to keep up with their routines because routine is so important for pets! I work a full time job from anywhere with internet. My job is pretty flexible so if I need to walk a dog at a certain time or have a cat sit on my lap all day I can usually make that work. I also don’t currently have any pets so pets can also stay in my house if that’s more comfortable for the owners. I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of fun smells. Half the yard is five feet fence but some is a shorter chainlink fence. We have a magnetic screen on the back door that pets can go from inside to out which we can have open so they have full range of the yard or we can close it so we can be with them when they go out.

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages and all sizes, including puppies and seniors. I have done medicine administration for dogs, fed, walked, played, and cared for dogs as long as I remember. I currently work a part time day job in Minneapolis, I do make my own hours at my job. When I’m not at work I am a single mom, and my daughter is 10 and we are very flexible with time I will accommodate to anything you request for your pet, I will give daily updates and pictures for every visit and will always follow the rules you have set for your home and pet.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of my own dog for about 8 years now. I have also watched many other dogs as well, having experience with a variety of dog breeds. I am always a helpful hand in taking care of every dogs needs! I’m a junior college student, but I have plenty of free time on weekends to care for pets. I love spending time with them whether it’s walking or playing fetch. When I care for pets in a clients home, I will listen to the rules and keep everything in order. About: Due to my housing set I could never get my own pet so I take every chance to watch the cats and dogs of my close friends and family members.
