About: I’ve grown up with animals in the house and on the farm my entire life, from small dachshunds to chow chows to large hunting labs. We’ve had very rascal puppies, young high energy dogs, and very senior dogs on medications and needing special attention. I’ve house sat all sizes of dogs, from terriers and corgis to golden retrievers, as well as cats, both friendly and standoff-ish. Growing up with animals in the house, I know firsthand that pets aren’t pets, they are family, you love them dearly, when they get sick you clean up after them, and they make the world go round. I love pets that are very involved with everyday life (see my photos) of pets “helping” with homework, regular walks and play time, and bedtime snuggles, as well as pets that are in their own world and coexistence works best. I work full-time outside the house, M-F, so I’m mainly looking for weekends and overnights. I’m able to check-in on my lunch breaks when needed, and happy to do so. I grew up in the country and our dogs roamed free, while most animals that I’ve house sat have fenced in yards, so regular walks and active play is necessary. I’m used to animals both being left to roam the house or be crated during the day. I’m a pretty active person and my animals are active parts of my life, so if your pet enjoys people and is able-bodied, we’ll probably be going on lots of walks, finding nearby parks, eating meals together, and snuggling up to watch a movie. No one is allowed to meet your animal unless there is prior approval, especially no other animals unless yours is friendly and willing. I (unfortunately) have experience with animals getting sick, jumping a fence and going for a run, and unfriendly dogs coming close. I recognize these are all unwanted, however very possible, and having experience navigating and handling these often stressful situations, is needed to keep your animal safe and comfortable. I take every precaution to mitigate these risks, and have learned from my own animals and their mischievery.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals, including large dogs and cats. I can do medications and walks with no problem. I work from home so I can be available all day. I work remotely so I can be around all day. I typically get up around 6:30 and go to bed around 10:30 or 11. I can let animals out and walk them during the day. I have roommates with animals, so I am unable to board animals, but I can drop in to let animals out and walk them or stay and house sit.

I have dedicated my time/availability to pet care and sitting at any day and time! For clients home I provide consistent, attentive pet sitting by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, daily walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship to keep pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. I also administer medication if needed, monitor behavior for any changes, and ensure water bowls are always fresh and full. I keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets and respecting your space. Regular updates with photos and messages help keep owners reassured while they’re away.

About: I've been around dogs since I was little, and with what I do for work, I have a lot of experience with all kinds of breeds and levels of energy! My dogs are my life, and coming home to my them is the best part of my day! I love taking them to the dog park, and working on casual training! I have a fenced yard, and I live on a cul-de-sac in an area not too close to many busy roads. My dogs are fed once in the morning and once in the evening, and are let outside more times per day than I can count. Playtime is a must, and my girls love tug! If I care for a pet in another home, I love details and preferences, so as to make the pet sitting experience more comfortable for pets and owners.

About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. If I am ever watching pets in my own home I have a very friendly 30 lb terrier mix that loves to play with other dogs.

We have a decent-sized, secure yard for quick outdoor play, and we are located in a highly walkable neighborhood with easy access to local parks and trails, perfect for daily sniff-and-stretch walks. What makes my home unique is that your pet will be part of our family. My 4-year-old child is a huge animal lover who enjoys helping with gentle care, like supervised playtime and giving treats. Because my child is so involved, I am very intentional about ensuring that every dog I host is comfortable around children and that interactions are always calm, supervised, and positive. About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

I’m located in Fridley, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet after we’ve chatted and gotten all the details squared away. I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I previously ran a guinea pig foster-based rescue and have also worked at a doggy daycare and a veterinary hospital, where I cared for boarding, grooming, and surgery patients as a kennel assistant. I’ve also worked as a technician assistant and receptionist at North Branch Vet. These experiences have given me not only hands-on animal care experience, but also a strong understanding of how to recognize and respond to individual animals’ needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, and many other companion animals. I genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of pets and love learning about new animals, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a more unique pet! I’m especially comfortable reading canine body language, working with dogs who may be anxious, and adjusting my approach to fit each dog’s personality. I’m happy to care for dogs of all ages, although I know puppies can require a little extra time and attention. Whether your pet simply needs some company, regular potty breaks, and a little TLC, or you’d like someone to keep them active and entertained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. I have plenty of experience with my own pets, including my Australian Shepherd, Winnie; Great Dane, Reuben; Maine Coon, Juneau; and Manx cat, Turkey. I’ve also had plenty of experience caring for guinea pigs through my rescue and previous personal pets. Although cats may be very different from dogs, I have just as much experience and intuition when it comes to caring for them. Having two cats of my own, I understand how much their personalities and needs can vary, and I’m comfortable giving them the patience, space, and attention they need to feel comfortable. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I’d also love to bring my Great Dane, Reuben, along for overnight bookings. He would be thrilled to have a new friend to play with and keep company! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.
