About: Doggy Daycare: My husband Mark and I are a great team and this includes caring for your dog(s)! When you entrust your dog(s) to our care you get a 2 in 1 package deal! Mark works from home and has a flexible schedule, allowing him to love on your dogs, let them out during the day, and keep their water/food bowls filled. I am also available at different parts of the week to help out. Dog Walking: I (Megan) have grown up with dogs my whole life. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker for a year, interacting with and walking many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, from very small dogs to very large dogs (I used to have a 90 lb Bull Mastiff named Hagrid; he was a gentle giant who doesn't understand his own size <3). We view our jobs as adapting to whatever your dog(s) need. We will follow the directions outlined for your sweet furry loves. Mark is working from home and has flexibility to spend time with your dog(s) throughout the day. Megan works outside the home on some days but will take any opportunity to love on your dog(s) as much as possible! Doggy Daycare: We have a fully fenced in yard with a three foot fence. We allow dogs on the furniture (if their parents allow it!) and they will have freedom to roam our large rambler. We always use positive reinforcement with our charges and work to build the relationships with them; this includes talking to them as people and then answering back in a voice we imagine the dogs using. :) Walking: While walking dogs I (Megan) make sure to pay attention to their needs, when they need to take a potty break, when they might be getting excited over seeing another dog or squirrel, and their overall demeanor. I will ask if you're okay with your dog(s) stopping to smell the proverbial roses or if you'd like them to stay in the heeled position and get in more exercise.

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

About: Pets are my life, I grew up with cats, dogs and even reptiles. I’ve been taking care of all types and sizes of pets my whole life they are my passion & love. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet mom so my schedule is widely available, I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and cats. About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.

About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! I will try to get to know your pet as best I can. I am flexible and willing to snuggle, play, go on walks or look out the window with your furry friend. About: My family’s had a cat since I was 8 years old. Me and my siblings mostly took care of her so due to that I have more of a co-op care with her, but I’ve pet sat multiple times for my friends and family! I make sure to try and go above and beyond for their little fur babies I’m currently in college working to get my degree in Graphic Design. I’m out of a job at the moment which means I have plenty of time to take care of your precious fur babies! :3 Since I have one family cat she is very well taken care of by me and my family. Someone always makes sure she has food and clean water to drink, as well as annual vet check-ups since she’s reaching her little senior years..! But I am the designated pet sitter for my close friends and family. I make sure to stick to whatever routine they have set for their pets! I make sure to take dogs on longer walks or an extra walk a tad more in the evening when the sun is still up since I’m an art major which means spending hours on art projects..!

About: I have had my own dog since I was 4. I also have been a dog sitter for many of my neighbors for years. I have experience with frequent visits during the day and overnight sitting. I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill. For example, my dog needs ear drops and allergy medication, so I have experience with those types of medication specifically. I also have experience cat sitting and caring for other pets, like small rodents or snakes. Currently I am working full time, hybrid, with two days in the office. I’m available for visits during the mornings and afternoons/nights during the week or weekend. I will be more available during the holiday season as well and can sit for an extended period of time if you are on vacation. I have a cat at home so I cannot provide home services, but I am available for house sitting! I have done many extended stays and have the luxury of working from home, so if your pet needs to stick to their schedule, I can be there.

About: I’ve always had a strong connection with all pets I come into contact with and all my friends and family say I’m an “animals whisperer” because they are drawn to me and feel comfortable with me instantly. I’ve pet/house sat as well as dog walked for so many friends over the years, that I’m their first source of contact when they need someone to do the job. For a long time I did it for free even when offered money just because I love the company of animals, but then I started to get asked to do it so much it turned closer to a full time job. I love animals so much that spending time with them doesn’t feel like work, it feels like second nature. I love giving animals attention and seeing them happy. I haven’t had my own pet for about 7 years now because having roommates , but in my life I’ve had multiple cats & dogs of my own and also rats, a hamster, and a rabbit. I’ve pet sat a bearded dragon. As a vegan, I know how important respecting other species is. Animals are innocent sentient beings. I set my price based on some factors not listed including; (copied/pasted from forum) Rover takes 20% of my total booking amount, which would reflect any adjustments/discounts given to clients. For example if the client pays $60 for an overnight , I am only keeping $48 for that service . The fee that the owner pays is 5-7% of the booking cost added to the total cost, and the owner side service fee caps at $25, so it isn't "double" it is just that both the sitter and the owner have fees. The owners see the service fee when they pay so they are fully aware of the fee. I work from home and in the community , so doing in house sitting is very easy for me I usually work from home (hybrid) most days I am gone between 2 to 4-8 hours this varies ; at my regular job my clients sometimes reschedule to different days or times when they have things come up, they get sick, or with holidays . So typically before and after seeing clients I am working from home and can snuggle the pups/cats . I (typically) need a few weeks or 1/1.5 months notice for bookings but especially for longer stays but prefer that it is not more than 2-3 months in advance. you can ask that far out but I can’t guarantee I can commit that far out. ***If you are leaving for your trip early morning before 10AM , hide a key, use a lock box, Or please tell me your garage code day of. Otherwise I am sometimes driving 40minutes -1 hour without any pay or gas money just to get your key ahead of time. If you prefer to do the key ahead of time you can meet me at a public place to give it to me or I can let you know if I happen to be driving through your area ahead of time which isn’t always a thing but maybe. Because I cannot currently have outside pets in my place of living and because animals feel a lot less anxious when they are in their own home, I mostly pet sit at owners houses overnights and bring my own food for the stay. When I dog walk I want to avoid hot pavement on their paws in hot Weather: I take all weather advisories seriously! * When the heat index is 90 degrees, walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. We will use up the remaining time getting pets and belly rubs or playing in doors. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. Your flexibility is appreciated. This goes for cold weather as well in winter. * In winter for drop in visits: if the temperatures dip below 20 degrees we may need to talk about turning our walk in to a drop-in visit. I will always communicate with my dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures." I also have an issue where my body doesn’t regulate temperatures well both cold/heat.
