Amanda took amazing care of Nala, made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She provided regular photo updates, as well as keeping me informed of how Nala was eating and sleeping, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!). I’ll definitely be booking with Amanda again next time I need pet care - Amanda, thank you again for taking such good care of Nala!”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

I've been dog sitting for a few years now, originally just within my neighborhood, I started Rover as a summer job last year, but I fell in love with it and decided to continue. I am currently a college student, but I do online classes so the majority of my time is devoted to dogs. I am committed to providing personalized, and loving care around the clock. While your pets are here, I try to maintain their home schedules as much as possible, for example, if they eat at a certain time At home, that's the time they'll eat here. I've noticed that it helps ease the transition between my home and yours. To them, my home is just an extension of their home. I also have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs who may be recovering from illnesses or surgeries. I can administer oral or topical medications and provide cpr if it were ever necessary. If your dog has specific or specialized needs, please let me know and I will ensure I work with you and them to provide the best care possible. My schedule completely revolves around the dogs. I am a college student, so occasionally school endeavors can interfere with pick-up or drop-off times, but for the most part, I can fully adjust my schedule to the needs of you and your dog. You are always free to adjust pick-up and drop-off times with no extra charge, just send me a message and we'll work out the best time for you. I do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure your dogs are loved, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, I try to spend as much time outside as possible. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly. Rex my golden is very gentle and plays well with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them completely separate, no problem! Feedings always take place in kennels or separate rooms, so dogs are always separated for that.

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. About: I currently work full time nights at a hospital and I am also previously worked in emergency vet medicine for 4 years. I have always loved animals big and small. I hope to get to care for yours soon! I am here to care for your pets in the exact same way you do while you are away. You just let me know how you would like me to care for them and I will do just that. I have stayed over nights with a Labradors, beagles, golden retriever, Pomeranian, cats, Australian shepherd etc. and we had a blast. I can also give baths as needed or medication if they are on daily pills/oral liquid/shots anything. I hope you will consider me and I hope to help you out soon!!! About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a little girl! About two years ago I started a business out of it watching friends and family’s dogs and loved it so much I made it my career! I work with dogs full time now and absolutely love it! I’m looking to spread my love for dogs in anyway I can! I know how to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs, as I’ve worked with close to all of them! And I even have extra experience with dog grooming at well! My full time job is working with dogs so I spend about 40 hours a week with them and i absolutely love it! I would say pet care is definitely a big part of my routine! I offer both pet care in my home and my clients home! I have a friendly dog of my own at home which could keep your pup great company, if your dog isn’t comfortable with new friends we have multiple levels and can accommodate that no problem! I have crates or beds owners choice as well as lots of toys and a big yard to play in! If pet parents are looking for an at home stay I’m more than comfortable with that as well! I do great following instructions as well as keeping your pup company at home!

Nala had a great time playing fetch, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Amanda even sent her home with a cute home-made treat box (all made of ingredients that were sensitive to Nala’s allergies!).
