“Amy did a lovely job taking care of my dog for 4 nights while I was out of town! This was my first experience using Rover and it was a great introduction. Amy was professional and easy to contact, and sent photos and updates daily. She has a great and professional setup and I knew my pup had lots of opportunities to socialize with the other dogs, sprint around, rest, lay in the sun, cuddle, and eat some treats. Amy was also very easily able to accommodate for my dog’s allergy to chicken and gave him some oral medication from our vet. Amy was a gem and we will definitely be back the next time I need a sitter :)”

About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. About: I have always loved and cared for animals in general. I grew up with a Puggle who I passed at 18yrs old (2021), and we added a Pomeranian/Pekingese babe to our family in 2013. I grew up scared of cats, but I have my own now! His name is Panda and he’s 6 now! I taught him how to sit and lay down like a dog. He’s quite stubborn (like a lot of cats), but we practiced definitely made perfect. I’m also a proud doggy godmother to my best friend’s Boxer/Mastiff, Nova. Although we don’t have a yard that means we are out for walks FREQUENTLY to ensure everyone one gets out and smells the fresh air. Besides growing up with dogs in my home and being the family dog sitter, I volunteer frequently at a local rescue and familiar with caring for many animals. Your child will be treated like royalty! As mentioned my partner and I work remote and home all day everyday - we can accommodate to any schedule for potty breaks and feedings and plenty of play! About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I've been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home a lot and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! One or two days a week, I have to be at the office; I'll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled before I go. On Saturdays, I'm less flexible for check-in and check-out, since I'm away in the morning for volunteer work. I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! I am good at reading challenging dogs’ language, and I am also good with dogs that get anxious easily. I can care for dogs ranging in age, although puppy care does require a bit of extra effort. I am more than happy to do activity as simple as give your pet company while they relax with potty breaks. I also love to do activities and have fun with animals, like my own Australian Shepard, Winnie, Great Dane, Reuben, my maine coon, Juneau, Manx, named “Turkey” and my multiple guinea pigs. Although cats are a much different species than dogs, I have just as much intuition and experience caring for them as well. Having two of my own, I know how much their personalities can range, and I am accustomed to being flexible with their personal needs. If your dog is friendly to other dogs, I would love to bring my own Great Dane along to overnight bookings to play and be friends with your dog! I’m excited to get to know you and your pet, please request me anytime! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.
“Hana is a wonderful dog walker, She is punctual and professional, texting to say that she is on her way. She is friendly and very considerate. And she has a wonderful rapport with our old dog, who is shy and not very friendly. Our dog look forward to walks with Hana, and walks further with her than she does with other dog walkers. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

“Amy did a lovely job taking care of my dog for 4 nights while I was out of town! This was my first experience using Rover and it was a great introduction. Amy was professional and easy to contact, and sent photos and updates daily. She has a great and professional setup and I knew my pup had lots of opportunities to socialize with the other dogs, sprint around, rest, lay in the sun, cuddle, and eat some treats. Amy was also very easily able to accommodate for my dog’s allergy to chicken and gave him some oral medication from our vet. Amy was a gem and we will definitely be back the next time I need a sitter :)”
