With such a full house, I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of pets, each with their own unique needs and personalities. About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

We had to find a sitter for our cats during an emergency, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Sofia! She responded to us right away and was more than willing to care for our three kitties while we were out of the country. She has done an amazing job spending time with them, feeding them, giving them their medications, and even cleaning up around the house to keep everything tidy. We could also see how comfortable and happy our cats were with her, which says a lot that she’s clearly a true cat person! Sofia has also been incredibly flexible with our schedules and very respectful of our home and space. We highly recommend her, and we will absolutely book with her again whenever she’s available!
