About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I care for every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable and at home. I have experience with a large, active German Shepherd and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. While I do have a resident dog, every pet's comfort and safety comes first. My home allows dogs to be separated when needed, and I'm happy to provide individual walks, feeding routines, and personalized attention so every dog has a positive experience. What sets me apart is my communication and attention to detail. I have a hybrid work schedule, which means I work from home several days each week and have flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care and prioritize keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it's morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening cuddles, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience so your pet feels right at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out. I also have a friendly resident German Shepherd who enjoys other dogs, so guest dogs should be comfortable around larger breeds. That said, your pet's safety and comfort always come first. My home is set up so dogs can be separated if needed, and I always supervise introductions and interactions. I'm happy to provide individual walks, feed according to your dog's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and accommodate crate routines if that's what your dog is used to. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. We have a toddler in our home (who has grown up with our dog and is respectful), so guest dogs should be comfortable around young children. Safety is my top priority, and I carefully supervise all interactions between pets and family members.

About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: I have experience working with all kinds of animals! I have a tortoise, four ducks, and three dogs at home. I’ve had many other animals in the past! I’m currently working part-time split shifts at an elementary school. I recently got a second job at a daycare in Blaine. Before you book with me, know that I won’t be able to stop by mid day during the weekdays! My work hours are 7am-6pm Monday-Friday. Weekends I am available all day! About: I have grown up having cats, and have experience caring for dogs since I was a child. I am happy to bathe and give medications to non - aggressive animals. I am best available after 5 pm on weekdays, and carried available on the weekends. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with owners. Unless noted the pet does well with other pets/ dog parks I will keep the pets away from other pets. I care greatly for your pets safety.

I absolutely love getting outside with our family dog, and I’ve built my routine around making time for fresh-air walks that benefit both the pups and me. I’m reliably available for walks in the evenings (after school and dinner) and on weekends (mornings or afternoons). I’m happy to work with your dog’s needs and your schedule as much as possible — consistency is important to me! About: I have had both cats and dogs all of my life. I have raised 2 litters of kittens, I have raised 2 puppies including fostering one. I have spent the last 2 years caring for my senior cat who needed extensive medication administration and monitoring daily; she also needed a special diet and many vet and urgent care visits. I have owned a variety of animals from a Snow Bengal, house cats, cocker spaniel, golden retriever, German shepherd, terrier mix, ferrets, and bunnies. I raised my cocker spaniel from a puppy and trained him. I do not currently have any animals. I live in a very quiet manor home with a walking path in my backyard. I absolutely love animals, and I hope to live yours while you are away. I currently work full time, M-F 8-4. I am close to home and can come home during my lunch break if needed. I spend my time home when I have a pet, ensuring it is receiving the attention it needs while you are away. I love to spend time outside hiking, biking, and hammocking. I live in a manor home and have a second floor balcony which is entirely surrounded by chicken wire. If you have a cat who likes to be outside, they can safely enjoy the sun there-only with your approval. I can walk animals, take them outside for the bathroom as needed. I am happy to take your dog to the dog park if you would like. My place has a secure entry, with 2 doors.

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs throughout my life. I grew up with a reactive dog and can recognize signs that a reaction may occur. I am available before and after work during the week to help walk your dog! On weekends I can do drop ins and walks as needed. I have lots of walking trails and areas to walk dogs near my house. My dog gets at least 2 walks every day so I love to walk around the block!
