About: About Me Hi! We are lifelong animal lovers with many years of experience caring for dogs. We currently have two playful terrier mixes who absolutely love meeting new dog friends. They enjoy running around the yard and playing—but are just as happy to relax and lounge around the house. Our Home We have a very dog-friendly home where pups truly get spoiled. Our dogs are welcome on the couch and even sleep in the bed with us, and your dog will be treated exactly the same! Whether your pup prefers walks, backyard playtime, or being lazy and cuddly, we’re happy to follow their routine. Family & Environment We do have children in the home, and they are gentle, respectful, and love dogs just as much as we do. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have kennels and baby gates available if needed—your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. What You Can Expect Your dog will be cared for as if they were part of our family. Plenty of attention, lots of love, and a fun, safe environment to play and relax. We can’t wait to welcome and spoil your fur baby! 🐾💛 We both work Full time, and would be around in the early mornings, and then back in the evening for walks, and playtime. Your pup will be in the house with our two dogs, while at work. Fully Fenced in yard, plenty of space to burn energy. Crate available if preferred to sleep or be in while we are at work. Toys, treats, and snuggles!

“Whitney was absolutely wonderful with our four cats! They have a few extra needs, including medications and one who needs to be kept separate from the others, and Whitney handled everything so attentively and confidently. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for, gave them plenty of attention and pets, and even fixed our microchip feeders when they were giving us trouble. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and communicative throughout her visits, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our cats and their individual needs. We would absolutely hire Whitney again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Christy was great with our cats while we were away for 3 weeks. Very dependable, spent time with the cats playing and petty them, and even fed our fish. We’d absolutely work with Christy again and highly recommend her!”

“Tina is an amazing pet sitter! She took care of my two cats, who are so sweet but also high maintenance and she did so well! They both had accidents and she cleaned them, plus set up treats and puzzles for them which I appreciated so much. I am most definitely reaching out anytime I need a sitter, thank you Tina!”

About: From dogs to cats (and even a bearded dragon), I've done it all. I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your animal with someone you barely know so I'll do the following to make sure you can feel confident your pets are being well taken care of while you're away: - Multiple updates throughout the day confirming eating and bathroom habits - Pictures of the activities we've been up to - A detailed daily plan developed to make sure we never miss a beat with their normal routine Reach out so we can develop a plan that meets your needs! Im free for walks after work during week days which is typically around 5 PM (depending if I'm working from home or on-site). On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent. I will treat your animal like my own and can handle even the largest of them (including pullers and reactive dogs).

About: I've been around dogs since I was little, and with what I do for work, I have a lot of experience with all kinds of breeds and levels of energy! My dogs are my life, and coming home to my them is the best part of my day! I love taking them to the dog park, and working on casual training! I have a fenced yard, and I live on a cul-de-sac in an area not too close to many busy roads. My dogs are fed once in the morning and once in the evening, and are let outside more times per day than I can count. Playtime is a must, and my girls love tug! If I care for a pet in another home, I love details and preferences, so as to make the pet sitting experience more comfortable for pets and owners.
“Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter for our 19 year old cat. She was happy and content when we arrived home. She is usually anxiety ridden even when left for several hours. Elizabeth is a cat whisperer. Thank you so very much. Think Sienna misses her.”

“Dexter and Savannah both give Amanda 4 out of 4 paws! Amanda had great communication, took photos everyday, and I came home to cats in the best they've ever been in after a long trip. HIGHLY recommend! She's a great sitter”

“Anna helped me out super last-minute and was willing and able to navigate several random hiccups throughout my vacation. 100000/10 from both me and my fur babies!! 💛”
“Pingping is the best sitter anyone could ever ask for!! She is so kind, attentive, flexible, and always follows instructions. I can’t imagine leaving my cats with anyone else - I highly recommend booking with her!”

“Pamela was fantastic with our two cats! She was always timely in her drop-ins, gave comprehensive updates, and kept our cats happy and entertained. We highly recommend her for anyone else looking for a sitter!”

“What a blessing to find Juli! She is so knowledgeable about dogs and has so much love for them. My Valentine has a special bond with her. I recommend her without any hesitation. Thanks Juli!”

“April was my first Rover feeder and I couldn’t have been happier. She went the extra mile (brought in packages, sent pictures, gave pets) and communicated amazingly. I will be remembering her services for next time.”

“My boy and girl kitties love Mexi! My girl is a bit shy but came right up to her. Loved the pictures she took too I could tell they were in good hands . They were not too mad at me when I came back, which means they did not feel abandoned.”

“Megan is amazing with our dog. She is very communicative about everything and leaves detailed Rover cards for us plus photos. She has been so helpful in every regard when it comes to walking him regularly as well as checking in on him for a visit. I feel so reassured he is in good hands! Highly recommend as long as you don't book up her schedule too much because we need her!”

About: I've taken care of animals since i was young. Dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs! I will care for your animals just like my own. I'm currently working part time at a coffee shop, and becoming an incoming freshmen in college, I am very flexible with my times, and whatever works for you! Whatever the animals needs I can do! Feed, walk, crate them if needed or instructed to do. Whatever helps the animal feel loved and cared for.
About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
“Brittany is absolutely fantastic. We had her do drop-in visits for our two behaviorally challenging dogs over Thanksgiving and they were so well-cared for! She was friendly, responsive, and clearly understands dogs well. We highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her to watch our dogs again!”

I have booked with Elizabeth twice now, and highly recommend her to take care of your babies. She is the first Rover sitter I have used and is an absolute delight! Her updates are thorough and make me feel so much more comfortable while I’m away. You can see she genuinely loves animals and I can trust that both my cat and home are in good hands.

Tina is an amazing pet sitter! She took care of my two cats, who are so sweet but also high maintenance and she did so well! They both had accidents and she cleaned them, plus set up treats and puzzles for them which I appreciated so much. I am most definitely reaching out anytime I need a sitter, thank you Tina!

Jordan is exceptional! She took such good care of my cat, Belle. I was nervous as I hadn’t left Belle for extended periods of time before, but I had no worries once Jordan started visiting. She was so patient and caring with my shy kitty and even became good friends with her. Jordan has amazing communication skills and gives frequent and timely updates. I would highly recommend booking with her!

Katelyn has been great helping me out with my dog, Jaxx. She’s reliable, caring, and always makes the process easy for me. Even on short notice, she’s been available and willing to help, which I really appreciate. It gives me peace of mind knowing Jaxx is in good hands. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable dog sitter or walker.

This was my second booking with Kylie. The first was to walk my dog as I recovered from surgery. That experience was excellent. This booking was to drop in twice a day and feed my cats while I was vacationing out of town. This experience also was excellent. Kylie is reliable, flexible, friendly and as evidenced by my giving her access to the house - trustworthy.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
