Pet care experience

High quality pet care, always!

Thank you for checking out my page! Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a Professional Pet Care Provider for the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. I bring a wealth of experience caring for all types of animals—from common and exotic household pets to farm animals and beyond. Now in my third year of professional pet care, I always make each pet’s well-being my top priority. Personalized Care for Every Pet: Whether I am with your animal for a short or extended period of time, I customize my time with them to fit their needs and preferences, striving to keep them happy, comfortable, and mentally enriched while we're together. I pay close attention to what your pet loves—and incorporate their favorite things into our time together. Of course, I will adjust or modify as needed to accommodate for any injuries, weather conditions, or anxiety, always finding a way to ensure your pet has a great experience. Being a pet parent myself, I know how it feels to leave your fur babies in someone else’s hands. That’s why I send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind and let you know your pet is thriving. I’m also fully covered by business insurance to protect your pet and property—fortunately, I’ve never needed to use it. My Mission: To provide high-quality, trustworthy pet care that supports the physical, emotional, and mental needs of every pet—every time. My Vision: To help pet parents breathe a sigh of relief, knowing their pet is in capable, loving hands and that their care needs aren’t just met—they’re exceeded. Background: I can't remember a day that my heart didn't belong to animals. I followed my passion to the University of Minnesota where I earned a degree in Conservation Biology and minored in Wildlife Care and Handling. This led to a position as an Animal Care Specialist, where I got to spend my days taking care of amazing creatures like wolves, bears, mountain lions, foxes, and many more! Working on Rover started out as a way to spend more time with dogs, but it didn’t take long for me to realize how much I loved it—and to turn it into a full-time job. Now a few years into doing pet care full time, it is so rewarding to be entrusted again and again with people’s beloved pets. Specialized Experience: I have been around lots of puppies in training and am a fast learner for each individual's training needs. Additionally, I have cared for, and am comfortable caring for, animals with special medical needs that require additional care, regular medications, and shots. I have cared for many anxious and fear-reactive dogs, and am highly attuned to dog body language. I am very familiar with respecting the boundaries of shy and nervous cats and believe they deserve quality care just as much as any other! My Promise: To keep your pet safe, healthy, and happy to the best of my ability. To keep you informed and reassured with regular updates. To treat your home and property with the utmost respect. My Fur Babies: I am a proud cat mom to three wonderful felines: Juniper, Poni (“Paw-knee”), and Dandelion. I also am a fan of the little ones and share my home with two guinea pigs and a chinchilla! These animals have made me into a better pet parent and shaped me as a pet care provider. They remind me every day why I love what I do and why I always do my best. While I’m not a dog mom yet, I get plenty of dog love through my work—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Let’s Connect! I’d love to meet you and your furry (or feathery, or scaly!) friends. If you’re unsure which service you need, feel free to request a “Drop-In Visit” so we can discuss your needs and figure out the best fit together. 📍 Proudly serving the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities 📸 Regular updates & photos included 🦴 Custom care for all types of pets

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I do whatever is needed to ensure both are fully met. For dogs, I typically start each visit with a bathroom break, followed by checking that they always have access to fresh water, and food when needed. For cats, I make sure their litter box is clean and ready for use, and that they also have access to plenty of fresh water and food as necessary. With any extra time, I love giving each pet personalized attention—whether that means playtime, exercise, snuggles, or simply keeping them company in the way they prefer. I also clean up any accidents or messes and make sure everything is tidy before I leave. When walking dogs, I take multiple precautions to ensure their safety. I stay fully aware of our surroundings and always watch for potential hazards—whether it's another dog or something on the path they shouldn't get into. I have experience with reactive dogs and am confident in reading body language, allowing me to proactively avoid stressful or risky situations.

Elizabeth is reliable, personable, and an excellent communicator. We really appreciated Elizabeth’s daily summaries and we highly recommend her! It was helpful to have a brief meeting with her and our dog in advance of the week to discuss our needs and see how they interacted with each other.

Our first time leaving a pet with a sitter outside of our immediate family and Elizabeth did such an amazing job. She came and met Mia in advance to ensure Mia was comfortable and sent great photos and updates throughout our trip. Mia seemed so much happier and more comfortable at home and Elizabeth gave us peace of mind that she was well taken care of!

I believe it's important to know about any special needs a pet may have, as well as some basic background information. A few things I like to ask: How long have you had your pet? Do they have any ongoing medical conditions? What training have they had, and what commands do they respond to? I also appreciate a brief overview of their personality and preferred activities. If your pet is reactive, anxious, aggressive, or has a history of behavioral concerns, it’s very helpful for me to know in advance so I can provide the best care possible.
