About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

You are always free to adjust pick-up and drop-off times with no extra charge, just send me a message and we'll work out the best time for you. I do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure your dogs are loved, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, I try to spend as much time outside as possible. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly. Rex my golden is very gentle and plays well with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them completely separate, no problem! Feedings always take place in kennels or separate rooms, so dogs are always separated for that.
About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.

I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.
About: My family’s had a cat since I was 8 years old. Me and my siblings mostly took care of her so due to that I have more of a co-op care with her, but I’ve pet sat multiple times for my friends and family! I make sure to try and go above and beyond for their little fur babies I’m currently in college working to get my degree in Graphic Design. I’m out of a job at the moment which means I have plenty of time to take care of your precious fur babies! :3 Since I have one family cat she is very well taken care of by me and my family. Someone always makes sure she has food and clean water to drink, as well as annual vet check-ups since she’s reaching her little senior years..! But I am the designated pet sitter for my close friends and family. I make sure to stick to whatever routine they have set for their pets! I make sure to take dogs on longer walks or an extra walk a tad more in the evening when the sun is still up since I’m an art major which means spending hours on art projects..!
About: I have been taking care of my own dog as well as friends, families, and neighbors dogs. I love everything to do with all animals. I am currently studying during the year to get a degree in animal studies! I am comfortable and empathetic will all kinds of dogs. I am also comfortable with giving medication as needed. I am currently home for the summer from college and looking for some work! I love all animals and thought this would be perfect for me as I have a very free schedule for the next few months! On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent.
