About: Doggy Daycare: My husband Mark and I are a great team and this includes caring for your dog(s)! When you entrust your dog(s) to our care you get a 2 in 1 package deal! Mark works from home and has a flexible schedule, allowing him to love on your dogs, let them out during the day, and keep their water/food bowls filled. I am also available at different parts of the week to help out. Dog Walking: I (Megan) have grown up with dogs my whole life. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker for a year, interacting with and walking many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, from very small dogs to very large dogs (I used to have a 90 lb Bull Mastiff named Hagrid; he was a gentle giant who doesn't understand his own size <3). We view our jobs as adapting to whatever your dog(s) need. We will follow the directions outlined for your sweet furry loves. Mark is working from home and has flexibility to spend time with your dog(s) throughout the day. Megan works outside the home on some days but will take any opportunity to love on your dog(s) as much as possible! Doggy Daycare: We have a fully fenced in yard with a three foot fence. We allow dogs on the furniture (if their parents allow it!) and they will have freedom to roam our large rambler. We always use positive reinforcement with our charges and work to build the relationships with them; this includes talking to them as people and then answering back in a voice we imagine the dogs using. :) Walking: While walking dogs I (Megan) make sure to pay attention to their needs, when they need to take a potty break, when they might be getting excited over seeing another dog or squirrel, and their overall demeanor. I will ask if you're okay with your dog(s) stopping to smell the proverbial roses or if you'd like them to stay in the heeled position and get in more exercise.

About: I’m recently unemployed and looking to get my steps in and earn some dollar tree money! I have experience running a BOOMING neighborhood dog walking business in the 90s! Also the proud owner of 1 Bombay cat. Not much specialized experience, but wide open availability to help at run of the mill drop ins and/or walks. Hope to meet you! “Kevin was simply AMAZING. I recently reached out to Kevin for dog walking and pet sitting services the first time with just 2 days of notice. We were in a major bind. Kevin responded within minutes and accepted! We setup a "Meet and Greet" for the next day, and he showed up promptly on time. I told Kevin about the past experiences I've had with other pet sitters either not showing up or coming late because of double booking with other clients. He reassured me that would not happen with me and his other clients. I have two Siberian Huskies and they instantly LOVED Kevin. He got right down on the floor with them and was petting them! He is a natural with dogs! I felt very comfortable having Kevin in my house. I reviewed the routine that I and my dogs like, and Kevin eagerly paid attention to the detail I provided. The very next day was the dog walking and pet sitting appointment. Kevin arrived EXACTLY on time and even sent me a txt msg so I could be relieved to know my Huskies were getting the attention they deserved, AT THE TIME they were promised!!! When I returned home at the end of the day, the house was all in order, the dogs water bowls (all 3 of them) had been refilled!!!, and my dogs seemed happy! Throughout the pet sitting, Kevin provided great communication with txt msg's, and pics of my Huskies. Again, I feel very comfortable with Kevin in our home, and would book him when we need a pet sitter for overnight stays as well. I absolutely love his communication and feel it's what most pet owners want. I am so glad to have found Kevin and will reach out to him for ALL of our future pet sitting needs.”

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

Me and my siblings mostly took care of her so due to that I have more of a co-op care with her, but I’ve pet sat multiple times for my friends and family! About: I’ve always had a strong connection with all pets I come into contact with and all my friends and family say I’m an “animals whisperer” because they are drawn to me and feel comfortable with me instantly. I’ve pet/house sat as well as dog walked for so many friends over the years, that I’m their first source of contact when they need someone to do the job. For a long time I did it for free even when offered money just because I love the company of animals, but then I started to get asked to do it so much it turned closer to a full time job. I love animals so much that spending time with them doesn’t feel like work, it feels like second nature. I love giving animals attention and seeing them happy. I haven’t had my own pet for about 7 years now because having roommates , but in my life I’ve had multiple cats & dogs of my own and also rats, a hamster, and a rabbit. I’ve pet sat a bearded dragon. As a vegan, I know how important respecting other species is. Animals are innocent sentient beings. I set my price based on some factors not listed including; (copied/pasted from forum) Rover takes 20% of my total booking amount, which would reflect any adjustments/discounts given to clients. For example if the client pays $60 for an overnight , I am only keeping $48 for that service . The fee that the owner pays is 5-7% of the booking cost added to the total cost, and the owner side service fee caps at $25, so it isn't "double" it is just that both the sitter and the owner have fees. The owners see the service fee when they pay so they are fully aware of the fee. I work from home and in the community , so doing in house sitting is very easy for me I usually work from home (hybrid) most days I am gone between 2 to 4-8 hours this varies ; at my regular job my clients sometimes reschedule to different days or times when they have things come up, they get sick, or with holidays . So typically before and after seeing clients I am working from home and can snuggle the pups/cats . I (typically) need a few weeks or 1/1.5 months notice for bookings but especially for longer stays but prefer that it is not more than 2-3 months in advance. you can ask that far out but I can’t guarantee I can commit that far out. ***If you are leaving for your trip early morning before 10AM , hide a key, use a lock box, Or please tell me your garage code day of. Otherwise I am sometimes driving 40minutes -1 hour without any pay or gas money just to get your key ahead of time. If you prefer to do the key ahead of time you can meet me at a public place to give it to me or I can let you know if I happen to be driving through your area ahead of time which isn’t always a thing but maybe. Because I cannot currently have outside pets in my place of living and because animals feel a lot less anxious when they are in their own home, I mostly pet sit at owners houses overnights and bring my own food for the stay. When I dog walk I want to avoid hot pavement on their paws in hot Weather: I take all weather advisories seriously! * When the heat index is 90 degrees, walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. We will use up the remaining time getting pets and belly rubs or playing in doors. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. Your flexibility is appreciated. This goes for cold weather as well in winter. * In winter for drop in visits: if the temperatures dip below 20 degrees we may need to talk about turning our walk in to a drop-in visit. I will always communicate with my dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures." I also have an issue where my body doesn’t regulate temperatures well both cold/heat.
