About: I love dogs, no matter the size, age, or breed, I am determined to be your dogs new best friend! I've been dog sitting for a few years now, originally just within my neighborhood, I started Rover as a summer job last year, but I fell in love with it and decided to continue. I've always loved animals, so getting to spend time with your beloved pets is such a privilege! I am currently a college student, but I do online classes so the majority of my time is devoted to dogs. I am committed to providing personalized, and loving care around the clock. While your pets are here, I try to maintain their home schedules as much as possible, for example, if they eat at a certain time At home, that's the time they'll eat here. I've noticed that it helps ease the transition between my home and yours. To them, my home is just an extension of their home. I also have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs who may be recovering from illnesses or surgeries. I can administer oral or topical medications and provide cpr if it were ever necessary. If your dog has specific or specialized needs, please let me know and I will ensure I work with you and them to provide the best care possible. My schedule completely revolves around the dogs. I am a college student, so occasionally school endeavors can interfere with pick-up or drop-off times, but for the most part, I can fully adjust my schedule to the needs of you and your dog. You are always free to adjust pick-up and drop-off times with no extra charge, just send me a message and we'll work out the best time for you. I do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure your dogs are loved, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, I try to spend as much time outside as possible. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly. Rex my golden is very gentle and plays well with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them completely separate, no problem! Feedings always take place in kennels or separate rooms, so dogs are always separated for that.

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.
“Kevin on sorry notice changed the time to walk out dog due to rain at my request. I really appreciated his flexibility on schedule! Tonrar was very happy with his walk too!”

About: Hello! My name is Andy, and I have many years of experience loving and taking care of all sorts of animals! Over the years, my family has had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and bunnies—and we’ve also watched many, many more than that short-term. We are familiar with many types of animals and feel comfortable following your specific instructions for their care. I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. Spoiling your pet with a lot of love and personalized attention while keeping them safe and secure are my main goals as your pet sitter. I will be as active or relaxed as your dog needs- anything your dog requires for a safe and happy stay, I will gladly provide. I strive to always carefully follow your instructions. I am an animal advocate with extensive animal handlers and training experience. For many years, I have worked as an animal volunteer and foster parent for animals to be adopted. I have a soft spot for dogs of all kinds, and over the years have personally adopted spaniels, terriers, doodles, shepherds, and cats. I promise to treat your pet as if it is my own, play with it, give it tons of attention and love, and make sure it is fed and comfy while in my care. I have cared for my neighbors and friends pets for the past 30 years. I'm known by all as being a loving pet mom. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! I am available daily for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have experience training dogs and working with rescued animals. Our family dogs are rescues and fosters, and they were trained and cared for by me. They are now certified therapy animals. Also, I feel comfortable giving medications and caring for older animals or those with special needs. I have experience working with animals that need extra attention or care due to a rough past or neglect. As their foster mom, my dogs are rescues that came from neglectful situations and had to be nursed back to health. Both have undergone amazing transformations and are happy, healthy, loving, and playful now. I’ve taken care of many very small dogs and understand their specific needs intimately, as my family owns a number of small pets—and I’ve taken care of larger dogs and understand their needs and likes too, as I’ve supervised the maturation and training of several larger dogs. Speaking of training—I’m confident with pets of any level of training! In fact, if anything I’m something of a good influence on untrained animals, owing to my experience training animals over the years. Pets, especially clever pets, love to get a command correct and get a treat for it! As far as more “exotic” pets, I’m comfortable with a lot! I think animals are fascinating and love to meet new ones—even in elementary school I was one of the kids who took care of our class animals, including our snakes (a rainbow boa and a constrictor), and our iguana (aptly named “Iggy”)—so I’m not afraid of interesting animal friends! I’ll gladly watch your peafowl or your domesticated fox or your ferret, and I’ll take care of it like it was my own. About: Hello! I already love your dog :) My partner and I both work remote so we are home all day! Although we don’t have a yard that means we are out for walks FREQUENTLY to ensure everyone one gets out and smells the fresh air. Besides growing up with dogs in my home and being the family dog sitter, I volunteer frequently at a local rescue and familiar with caring for many animals. Your child will be treated like royalty! As mentioned my partner and I work remote and home all day everyday - we can accommodate to any schedule for potty breaks and feedings and plenty of play! Although there is no yard we are out frequently walking and using the restroom. Rest assured we also have the ability to keep separate if needed.
“This girl is awesome! She works so well with our dogs (all 3 of those crazy pups) especially our puppy who we’ve been working so hard to train. She has been so patient with him and stays consistent with his training. He walks so much better after working with Lexi! Also gives the best updates and is the best when it comes to last minute needs! So reliable! So lucky to have found her!”

Nicole is amazing! We had a great first meet up and she’s been awesome ever since. She walks our two Poms, Hank and Norm, and we get pictures of them on their walks where they look the happiest they’ve ever been! We are so glad we decided to hire Nicole to walk them, worth every penny and then some! Cannot recommend Nicole enough!

Julie provided me peace of mind on a very long and busy week. I was so confident Sadie was getting her evening walk with a professional who I could trust. Sadie is a Border Collie and Julie really understood her needs. I would highly recommend Julie and I will be using her again .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
