About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I care for every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable and at home. I have experience with a large, active German Shepherd and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. While I do have a resident dog, every pet's comfort and safety comes first. My home allows dogs to be separated when needed, and I'm happy to provide individual walks, feeding routines, and personalized attention so every dog has a positive experience. What sets me apart is my communication and attention to detail. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet's stay, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they're safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and dependable home where your pet is treated like family. I have a hybrid work schedule, which means I work from home several days each week and have flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care and prioritize keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it's morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening cuddles, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience so your pet feels right at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out. I also have a friendly resident German Shepherd who enjoys other dogs, so guest dogs should be comfortable around larger breeds. That said, your pet's safety and comfort always come first. My home is set up so dogs can be separated if needed, and I always supervise introductions and interactions. I'm happy to provide individual walks, feed according to your dog's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and accommodate crate routines if that's what your dog is used to. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. We have a toddler in our home (who has grown up with our dog and is respectful), so guest dogs should be comfortable around young children. Safety is my top priority, and I carefully supervise all interactions between pets and family members.

About: From dogs to cats (and even a bearded dragon), I've done it all. I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your animal with someone you barely know so I'll do the following to make sure you can feel confident your pets are being well taken care of while you're away: - Multiple updates throughout the day confirming eating and bathroom habits - Pictures of the activities we've been up to - A detailed daily plan developed to make sure we never miss a beat with their normal routine Reach out so we can develop a plan that meets your needs! Im free for walks after work during week days which is typically around 5 PM (depending if I'm working from home or on-site). On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent. I will treat your animal like my own and can handle even the largest of them (including pullers and reactive dogs).

About: I know how it feels to leave your fur baby with someone else and I know how important it is to find someone that your pet loves. I have 2 babies, a girl and a boy and they love to make new friends. Gustavo is the boy he's a border collie mix and Kahlua is the girl she's a Shih tzu. They are both well taken care of in my home and love to meet new people and new doggies. They also get along very well with cats. I work during the day and I walk the dogs in the morning and I go home right after work and walk them again and stay with them. I don't work weekends so I would be free to walk the dogs all day. I don't have a fence but I have a yard and there's a park at the end of my road and I take my dogs there so they can play and excersise.

About: My mom loves dogs so I grew up with dogs and I've been taken care of them since I was 11. I love dogs and they love me. I'm working at home so I can spend a lot of times playing with your pet, also I can take them out for potty every 2-4 hours I have a puppy who can keep your pet company when staying with us. About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!
