About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: I’m a K9 trainer with six years of experience, including three years working professionally. I work with dogs every day and am Canine and Feline CPR certified. I also own an Australian Shepherd who excels in agility, games, and service dog tasks. Training and caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me, it’s my career and my passion, and I love being able to share that with others. I work full time doing K9 training and taking care of boarding dogs, but I still make time throughout the day to look after additional pets. My schedule is flexible, and I even have the option to bring dogs with me to work, giving them extra attention and enrichment. I make sure my own dog’s needs are met every day with activities that keep him happy and fulfilled, and I bring that same level of care to every client’s pet. About: I’ve taken care of many doggies and kitties in my last 10 years. I can walk them, feed them (any allowed treats will be given), I can administer their medication. I also take care of kitties! I clean litter boxes, feed them, play with them and give them premium chin scratches! It fits perfectly. I love to create a routine with regular walks and form bonds with the kitties or puppies! I am not afraid of any breed, they are all puppies in my eyes. I make them as comfortable as possible, I treat them with respect and love. I always follow the directions provided by the owner to the letter!

About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

Just know, that as you head off our your vacation, your pets will be comfortable and safe in their own home with me. I will be able to give to best care to pets that can handle the 8-4:30 schedule while I am at work. Extended stays/house sitting works fine with me and will give constant attention to your precious pets while I am there. When caring for your pet in your home, I stick to a strict schedule. I always come straight home after work so we can go on a long walk and then make sure we both get some dinner. Evenings will be spent giving all my attention and playfulness to those more energetic dogs!
