Amy was so welcoming to my pup and cared for her. She was also very flexible when I had to extend my dogs stay for longer than expected. She even got my dog to eat, and she sometimes has anxiety being in new places. Amy sends pictures and updates of your pet. She did an amazing job!!”

About: I have a special interest in senior dogs. I have a 17 year old dachshund mix and a 12 year old dachshund. I have adopted hospice dogs and have been a hospice foster. I have experience as a dog foster for rescues in the Twin Cities and am also a volunteer at Animal Humane Society. I work from home and am here most of the time. No problem administering meds, including injections. I work full time from home, so I am almost always here to tend to the dogs. Caring for my own two dogs is an important part of my life and I make sure I’m always meeting their needs. I have two children who live with me 50% of the time. They are 9 and 4 and have lived with small, senior dogs their entire lives. They are very respectful of dogs and I never leave the kids with the dogs unsupervised. I’m very vigilant about how my kids interact with dogs. I have a fenced in yard and secure home in the suburbs. Boarded dogs will be treated like members of my family. I will follow requested instructions and dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed.

“I was afraid to leave my dog with someone I had never met. They were amazing with my little dog. She doesn’t like most people but she loved them by the time I picked her up!”

“Dave was amazing! We left our 2 dogs with him over thanksgiving. He gave daily updates with photos and answered any questions super quickly. We have one dog selective dog and he made sure to make him comfortable and not have to interact with any. Our other dog is a flight risk and he made sure she never got out of his yard. I think the dogs enjoyed their vacation as much as we did. We will for sure use Dave anytime he has availability!”

“Cassie did such an amazing job with my puppy. I’m definitely booking her again! She sent me updates regularly and her dogs are awesome. My dog is only 4 months old and still being potty trained and she handled his accidents with no complaints and took him outside multiple times a day. I also booked her super last minute so i’m super happy she was able to take us. Thanks Cassie!”

“Nicole is an awesome sitter! We have two dogs that are often scared of other dogs. Nicole and family always had people around looking after and cuddling with our two guys. And her pets were great with our dogs! Nicole sent daily pics of our pups enjoying laps and sofas. I would most certainly take my dogs back to Nicole and family in the future!”

“Maria is awesome! She made it very easy for me to leave my dogs while on vacation for the first time. Maria is definitely a dog whisperer and knows what she is doing. She had over 5 dogs in her care when I picked up my pups and pick up was very organized with all dogs listening to her and calm. I will definitely be using Maria in the future to watch my dogs.”

“Mocha had lots of fun with Loretta! Mocha got to go on many walks, and was provided with more than enough time to get all the exercise she needed. Loretta was very attentive to Mocha, and ensured all her needs were always met!”

“Terry and Samantha took great care of our two papillons! We received updates and pictures daily. I will definitely recommend them to others and use their services again in the future!”

“Anna is SUCH A GREAT SITTER. I was extremely nervous leaving my babies with her simply because my girls can be shy at first, and are much so “mama’s girls,” but they have grown to love her very much. They get excited in the morning when they know they’re leaving for daycare, and they are always so pooped when they get home at the end of the day! I absolutely adore the photo updates she sends me, I can see just how much fun my pups are having while they’re away from home. Highly recommend her to care for your kiddos!”
“Jackie was great to work with! Easy to arrange drop off and pickup and my pup was tuckered out, meaning he had fun! She sent plenty of pics to keep me updated and how he was doing. Will definitely look to book with her again. Pup and owner approved ?”

About: I was lucky enough to grow up around cats to understand the joy they bring and why those labeled as "childless cat ladies" are quite a catch for those looking for love! Cats love in a unique way and while they are very self sufficient, you can tell they get such a kick knowing you've come home as they run to greet you at the door. As cats are low maintenance, I see my cat clients either once or twice a day depending on your preferred feeding style. During a typical 30-60 minute stay I will clean and replenish their food and water dishes, clean the litterbox, and give them the attention they crave. Upon leaving I always like to have soft music playing and make sure there is a light source on if the owners won't be home in the evening hours. One of my current cat clients has special needs and requires assistance using the bathroom and I take the upmost care with her so she feels safe with me during a time that is stressful for her. I'm a gentle soul that cats seem to respond to well.

“Rachel took care of our cat Olaf while we were out of town. Olaf usually hides with new visitors, but he immediately warmed up to Rachel! She did a great job communicating (updates, pictures, etc.) and followed the pet care plan perfectly. Couldn’t recommend her services more!”

Whether it's a walk, a drop-in, or an overnight stay, I'll make sure your pup is safe, comfortable, and happy. Let's set up a meet & greet-l'd love to meet you and your furry best friend! I currently work full time so am available any day after 3 to bring your pup for a walk, feed them or bring them to my house to play with my dogs. I can make any night work for overnight care. “Emily watched my cat while I was away and has watched both of my pets over the years before Rover. She’s been great each time - very communicative, friendly, and my pets love her! Will definitely book again the next time it’s needed!”
“Top notch care for our fur babies. Would definitely recommend Shelley and will use her again. She is very thorough with making sure she understands what each pets needs are. Loved all the pictures and updates. Our cats are rescues and can be very cautious with new people but warmed up very quickly to Shelley.”

“Jenna followed all care instructions well and even made sure to prevent a possible safety issue when she found a toy starting to tear up. We are very grateful for her comprehensive report cards and pictures.”

“Amanda provided great in-home care visits for my cat Bernie. Her visits were on time and her care was complete. I would be glad to hire Amanda for any type of animal care.”

About: As a proud cat mom to two Scottish cats, I have years of hands-on experience caring for cats and understanding their unique personalities and needs. I know how important it is for cats to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their parents are away. Whether your cat loves playtime, cuddles, or simply having company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, care, and affection they deserve. ❤️🐱 I’ll treat your babies like they’re my own. 🐾💕
About: I grew up with labs and ultimately wanted lap dogs once I moved out of my parents home. When I was 20 (in college housing) I was crazy enough to get a puppy! My little dachshund made me the most popular student on campus, shortly thereafter I adopted a min pin because being an only child can get lonely! Both my dogs lived to be 20! They recently passed away and we have been missing that part of our family and aren’t yet ready to commit to new furry pets. My daughter is 9 and has done quite a bit of dog sitting already, she is all hands on deck (with supervision) and will surely spoil your pups! We’ve had dogs overnight at our house, done overnights at others home as well as done check ins and day visits. I have experience with administering meds (pills and shots), making special diets, bathing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and all the typical dog Mom stuff! We like dogs of all sizes and ages! We love to go for long walks and explore nature or play a game of chase or fetch. I work a flexible schedule Monday - Friday and like to stay busy so would be able to accommodate most requests depending on location and advanced notice. We do not currently have any furry pets in our home so your dog(s) would be our main priority! We have a large downstairs basement if your dog has a lot of energy and would get them outside for good exercise as well.
About: Hi! I’m Carly! I’m currently in my last semester of my (second-career) nursing program and spending my summer doing something I genuinely love: spending time with dogs! After losing my sweet 13-year-old dog, I’ve really missed having dogs in my daily life. Rover feels like the perfect way to combine my love for animals, staying active, and helping busy pet parents feel confident their dogs are cared for. I’m dependable, responsible, attentive, and very focused on safety and wellbeing. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every dog with patience, affection, and respect for their unique personality and needs. I’m currently offering dog walks and drop-in visits, and I’d love to help give your dog exercise, companionship, attention, and lots of love while you’re away! I’m fairly flexible this summer since I’m currently in my last semester of nursing school and only working part time as a phlebotomist. I’m available most days and at a variety of times throughout the day for walks or drop-in visits. If your dog does best with a consistent routine or set day each week, I’m happy to accommodate that as well! Weekends can be a little more limited, but feel free to reach out and check my availability. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is safety, trust, and a calm environment for your dog. I respect your space and privacy and follow all instructions closely, including routines and feeding schedules. I make sure doors are securely locked, leashes are used properly, and your home is kept safe and as I found it. I focus on keeping your pet comfortable and low-stress while you’re away, paying attention to their needs and giving them plenty of care and reassurance. Above all, I treat your home and pet with respect and responsibility, just as I would expect for my own.

“Kim was so helpful while we were out of town!! She was lovely to work with, and was able to give our little guy, Puffy, his insulin shots, and both he and his sister, Tuffy, some snuggles. Thanks again, Kim!!”

“Kayti stops in to see our two cats whenever we are away for more than a day and always does an amazing job. Box is always clean, she sends photos and plays with them. Highly recommend.”

“Elizabeth has been fantastic! Great communication with updates and lots of pictures - she takes wonderful care of our cats while we are out of town and regular walks for our very rambunctious dog.”

“David watched my dog Houston for the first time today! It was my first time using the Rover app but David had such great reviews I felt comfortable leaving my dog with him. He was very flexible with pickup and drop off times. David also sent me text updates throughout the day as well as pictures, which put me at ease! I can never say thank you enough to David for taking such good care of Houston.”

Thank you for all the love and sweetness and awesome picture updates! We look forward to our next visit with you both soon! 5 stars!!”

“Amber did a great job with our husky who has separation anxiety for an evening! She was super communicative before and during her time with her. She was very thorough about any instructions or asking about anything Izze might need. Izze is a top notch escape artist, so Ambers fully fenced in yard did a good job containing her. She sent photos during the evening and I’m sure Izze had a great time playing with her sweet kids. We would not hesitate to bring Izze back to Amber and her family in the future!”

“Melissa did an amazing job of caring for our 16 week old puppy Enzo. Her communication was great and made us so comfortable that Enzo was in good hands. Will be booking with here the next time we need care!”

“Anna is fabulous! We have a new puppy and she has watched him all week for us while we are at work! She makes sure he gets playtime with her dogs and naps in too! She sends lots of updates and pictures throughout the day, which we love! She has done great with helping his potty training and keeping us informed with his rover card each day!”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, grew up with and cared for springer spaniels through college. Can’t have my own pups so I dog sit for family/friends whenever I can. Happy to groom, play, walk with your dog. My friends all know me as an animal lover and I’m first on their list for dog sitting or just to check in on their pup. I have no allergies or aversions, any size dog is great. Available most afternoons, daily I go from Maple Grove to Albertville so any place in between is perfect to stop. I have a soft heart for pets and love them all, your pup will be in great care with me. Thank you for caring for your dog! Thanks! During the school year I can only do weekends. From June to August I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to entertain and exercise your pup. My rescue dog was incredibly anxious when I got her. She tried to get out of her collar all the time. I had to carry her to the car and go very slow with her to start. I am very experienced easing into a relationship with a reactive dog. I have a fenced in backyard that I’m happy to share if that’s what works best for your dog.

About: Hi my name is Julianna. I have experience caring for a variety of animals. I am comfortable watching plants or pets while you are away and can even go to get their food. I can work with pretty much any animal that is at a petstore, as I used to work at a few when I was younger. I also have personal experience owning many types of pets. I make my own schedule for work so with enough notice I should be able to accommodate your needs. I’m not really against any time of day and am open for consideration. I will accommodate what the pets needs are and am fairly open to special requests for the pets needs. I also have experience caring for unique pets such as small animals or other critters you may see at a pet store. I used to be an aquatics dept manager so I can maintain aquariums.
About: I currently work full time nights at a hospital and I am also previously worked in emergency vet medicine for 4 years. I have always loved animals big and small. I hope to get to care for yours soon! I am here to care for your pets in the exact same way you do while you are away. You just let me know how you would like me to care for them and I will do just that. I have stayed over nights with a laboratory, beagles, golden retriever, Pomeranian, cats, Australian shepherd etc. and we had a blast. I can also give baths as needed or medication if they are on daily pills/oral liquid/shots anything. I hope you will consider me and I hope to help you out soon!!! I do work full time however I work nights so I am home during the day taking care of my own golden. So I am happy to assist you and take care or check in on your baby/babies! I treat your house like my own. I cleaned houses growing up and I always treated others houses with respect and care. If I move/use something I put it back etc.

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages. From energetic puppies needing structure to senior pets requiring patience and gentle attention, I tailor my care to each animal’s unique needs. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or just playtime, I aim to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at home. What sets me apart is my calm, intuitive approach and attention to detail. I treat every pet like they’re my own, respecting their routines, quirks, and comfort zones. I also send frequent photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m available for walks, drop ins, or sitting on the weekends. My priority is for your pet to get the attention and companionship they deserve. Your dogs safety and comfort come first. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding schedules to walk times, to help them feel secure and relaxed. I always do a safety check of the space, keep hazardous items out of reach, and make sure pets are never left unsupervised outside. In your home, I treat your space with respect and aim to leave it just as I found it. I also provide regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I know how it feels to leave your fur baby with someone else and I know how important it is to find someone that your pet loves. I have 2 babies, a girl and a boy and they love to make new friends. Gustavo is the boy he's a border collie mix and Kahlua is the girl she's a Shih tzu. They are both well taken care of in my home and love to meet new people and new doggies. They also get along very well with cats. I work during the day and I walk the dogs in the morning and I go home right after work and walk them again and stay with them. I don't work weekends so I would be free to walk the dogs all day. I don't have a fence but I have a yard and there's a park at the end of my road and I take my dogs there so they can play and excersise.

“We highly recommend Chee and Ju for all your pet sitting needs! From the start, they were very accommodating and kept us updated with photos throughout the four nights Bentley was with them. We appreciate everything they did for us and will definitely use them again. Bentley was well loved and got plenty of attention and exercise!”

“Ann and her family were absolutely amazing for our 12 year old lab Daisy! They treated her just like she would be treated at home! Lots of love, pets and playtime! I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Kayti went above and beyond for us. She was very accommodating and great with my dog. My dog had a blast with Kayti and her family. Definitely will be booking with Kayti again!”
