About: I have a special interest in senior dogs. I have a 17 year old dachshund mix and a 12 year old dachshund. I have adopted hospice dogs and have been a hospice foster. I have experience as a dog foster for rescues in the Twin Cities and am also a volunteer at Animal Humane Society. I work from home and am here most of the time. No problem administering meds, including injections. I work full time from home, so I am almost always here to tend to the dogs. Caring for my own two dogs is an important part of my life and I make sure I’m always meeting their needs. I have two children who live with me 50% of the time. They are 9 and 4 and have lived with small, senior dogs their entire lives. They are very respectful of dogs and I never leave the kids with the dogs unsupervised. I’m very vigilant about how my kids interact with dogs. I have a fenced in yard and secure home in the suburbs. Boarded dogs will be treated like members of my family. Im free for walks after work during week days which is typically around 5 PM (depending if I'm working from home or on-site). On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent. I will treat your animal like my own and can handle even the largest of them (including pullers and reactive dogs).

About: I grew up with labs and ultimately wanted lap dogs once I moved out of my parents home. When I was 20 (in college housing) I was crazy enough to get a puppy! My little dachshund made me the most popular student on campus, shortly thereafter I adopted a min pin because being an only child can get lonely! Both my dogs lived to be 20! They recently passed away and we have been missing that part of our family and aren’t yet ready to commit to new furry pets. My daughter is 9 and has done quite a bit of dog sitting already, she is all hands on deck (with supervision) and will surely spoil your pups! We’ve had dogs overnight at our house, done overnights at others home as well as done check ins and day visits. I have experience with administering meds (pills and shots), making special diets, bathing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and all the typical dog Mom stuff! We like dogs of all sizes and ages! We love to go for long walks and explore nature or play a game of chase or fetch. I work a flexible schedule Monday - Friday and like to stay busy so would be able to accommodate most requests depending on location and advanced notice. We do not currently have any furry pets in our home so your dog(s) would be our main priority! We have a large downstairs basement if your dog has a lot of energy and would get them outside for good exercise as well.

He is able to interact with his doggy friends in a supervised setting. David provides updates and pictures. David is very accommodating. Our flight was delayed and our pick up time went beyond 1 hour from our set time. He was nice and understanding about this issue. We will use his services again in the future. Do not hesitate to use David for your dog sitting and boarding needs.”
“Maria is simply the best! She took care of our two big boys while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. She sent updates and photos, and reassured us along the way that they were happy and content. She is selective in who she watches, making sure to do a meet and greet and evaluate how each one interacts with others. We had no worries when she had other dogs staying there as well. Our guys were happy to see us when we picked them up, but they also looked content and were snuggly with Maria. You could tell that they had developed a good relationship with her. Maria will be the first one we ask if we need dog sitting in the future.”

“Brenda and Alvin provide awesome dog care, especially with new pets. They do everything they can to make the dog feel comfortable and well cared for. Our dog initially was a little anxious and nervous. Brenda and Alvin gave her space and time to adjust but also coaxed her out of her crate and gave her attention, play time and walks. They also kept me informed twice a day with reports and pictures to let me know how Wednesday was doing. I can’t thank them enough or praise them enough for their wonderful care of our dear little girl!”

“Angela was awesome! During our initial meet and greet, she put us ease about the special needs of our pet by saying that they wouldn't be an issue for her. At drop off, she immediately put us at ease with how much she treated our dog like her own. We got pictures and updates of Pickle every day. She responded to our comments promptly and left us with a feeling that our dog was being very well cared for. When our vacation was over - we came home to a very happy dog. We will definitely being using Angela again when we go on vacation and can't bring Pickle.”
