About: I’ve been a dog owner for 6 years and a Dog Person for over 3 decades! Throughout my life, family, friends, and neighbors have all trusted me to care for their pets, including the dogs I grew up with. From check-ins and playtime to walks and feeding, I’ve done it all. I’ve even been asked to chauffeur a friend’s dog for their wedding! I bring enthusiasm and playfulness to every interaction but prioritize comfort and safety. I want you and your pet to feel seen and secure. And that’s exactly how I care for my own fur baby, Rufus! As the proud mom of a rescue dog with lots of dog pals, I know firsthand that each pet has unique needs, and I lead with that empathy. I can’t wait to show your dog(s) some love! Cue “The Puppy Song” by Harry Nilsson… I'm currently working part-time and am excited to spend some quality time with your pups! I’m available for drop-ins, playtime, and walks on weekdays from 11am - 3pm. I’d love to work with you and your pet to figure out a rhythm of care that fits your needs, but I’m flexible too! Trust and safety are top priorities for me! My own dog's a "runner" so I take extra care when securing doors, gates, leashes, crates, etc. Before I start spending time with your pup, I'll make sure I fully understand your environment and expectations.

About: I have had my own dog since I was 4. I also have been a dog sitter for many of my neighbors for years. I have experience with frequent visits during the day and overnight sitting. I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill. For example, my dog needs ear drops and allergy medication, so I have experience with those types of medication specifically. I also have experience cat sitting and caring for other pets, like small rodents or snakes. Currently I am working full time, hybrid, with two days in the office. I’m available for visits during the mornings and afternoons/nights during the week or weekend. I will be more available during the holiday season as well and can sit for an extended period of time if you are on vacation. I have a cat at home so I cannot provide home services, but I am available for house sitting! I have done many extended stays and have the luxury of working from home, so if your pet needs to stick to their schedule, I can be there.

About: Hi! My name is Abby, and I would love to be your pet sitter! I’m located in Fridley, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet after we’ve chatted and gotten all the details squared away. I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I previously ran a guinea pig foster-based rescue and have also worked at a doggy daycare and a veterinary hospital, where I cared for boarding, grooming, and surgery patients as a kennel assistant. I’ve also worked as a technician assistant and receptionist at North Branch Vet. These experiences have given me not only hands-on animal care experience, but also a strong understanding of how to recognize and respond to individual animals’ needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, and many other companion animals. I genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of pets and love learning about new animals, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a more unique pet! I’m especially comfortable reading canine body language, working with dogs who may be anxious, and adjusting my approach to fit each dog’s personality. I’m happy to care for dogs of all ages, although I know puppies can require a little extra time and attention. Whether your pet simply needs some company, regular potty breaks, and a little TLC, or you’d like someone to keep them active and entertained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. I love having fun with animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have plenty of experience with my own pets, including my Australian Shepherd, Winnie; Great Dane, Reuben; Maine Coon, Juneau; and Manx cat, Turkey. I’ve also had plenty of experience caring for guinea pigs through my rescue and previous personal pets. Although cats may be very different from dogs, I have just as much experience and intuition when it comes to caring for them. Having two cats of my own, I understand how much their personalities and needs can vary, and I’m comfortable giving them the patience, space, and attention they need to feel comfortable. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I’d also love to bring my Great Dane, Reuben, along for overnight bookings. He would be thrilled to have a new friend to play with and keep company! I’m excited to get to know you and your pet and would love the opportunity to help care for them. Please feel free to request me anytime, I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

About: I’ve provided pet sitting and care for multiple dogs, and cats including feeding, walking, and maintaining routines for friends, family and even people around my neighborhood. I’ve loved animals since childhood, and even had my own lab for 16 years who I loved to the moon and back but sadly passed away late 2024. I know older animals require a certain level of attention and care. I love staying active, and high energy animals and I get along great! I do not mind larger animals. I have consistent availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with additional flexible availability throughout the week depending on my schedule. I’m great with planning ahead and keeping a reliable routine with my clients! I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. I maintain feeding schedules, regular walks, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and stress-free. In clients’ homes, I make sure to follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. I always aim to keep their environment calm, consistent, and familiar. I also provide updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: Eight years ago, I had the privilege of finding my soul dog, who taught me just how beautiful and meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Learning to understand her unique personality, nonverbal communication, and individual needs deepened my patience, empathy, and intentionality in caring for animals. My sweet girl sadly passed away in November 2025, but the love and lessons she gave me continue to shape how I connect with animals today. About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

About: I have flexible hours and am able to spend time with the pet. I can teach pets to do tricks and am patient with animals. If I had autism it would be the animal type. I have every other Monday, and every other Thursday totally free. I live right by Theodore Wirth and am able to run or bike with dogs that need extra exercise. I have a cat stroller and bike basket that is enclosed and can bring your cat around the block it is wanted by you and enjoyed by the cat. I am very confident about walking dogs/ cats safely.

About: I have taken care of my friend's cats (as well as my own) for years and am excited to start offering my services on Rover. I'm a proud cat dad to three very spoiled cats. I'd love to spend time with your pets, playing and engaging them while you're out of town. I'm a writer, which offers me tons of flexibility. I can even help you last minute! I am a writer, which means I don't work a "traditional job," so your pet will always be my first priority and primary concern. I am here to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I have three cats at home and know they can be quite curious creatures. If there's something you need me to keep an eye on (making sure they don't bolt, etc.), I'm happy to accommodate their needs to ensure everyone is safe.

About: Pets are my life, I grew up with cats, dogs and even reptiles. I’ve been taking care of all types and sizes of pets my whole life they are my passion & love. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet mom so my schedule is widely available, I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and cats. About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking classes mostly Monday and Wednesday morning but when i’m not in school i’m usually at home with the pups. I take a long walk every morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that some pups can get overwhelmed with sudden changes to their environment and routine.

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

About: I work at pet hospital as a veterinary assistant now. I have 1 large dog which is Alaskan malamute, 1 medium sized dog Shiba Inu and 3 cats which are British shorthair, ragdoll and domestic cat. I am professional at taking care of them. I majored in animal science working on pre veterinary programs at the University of Minnesota twin cities. I can do basic wellness check for pets. I used to help my friends taking care of their dogs including walking two dogs together, feed and bath. I’m basically free every day. I love all kinds of animals and play with them and I believe I can provide great care for them I have a huge basement and first floor for my pets to play in the house and he is well trained by me as an ESA dog. My cats are very sweet. I’m good at getting along with pets. Even my Guinea pig is friendly to humans and petable
