We had a wonderful experience with Olivia! Before our trip, she was very flexible and willing to meet with us a few times to make sure she was a good fit for Rio and that everyone felt comfortable. She was also very proactive about communicating her work schedule and setting clear expectations for when she would be home with Rio. While we were away, Olivia kept us updated on how Rio was doing and sent lots of pictures, which we really appreciated! She also took great care of our home, and we came back to everything clean and tidy. Most importantly, it looked like Rio had a great time with her! Olivia exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely love to have her stay with Rio again for our next trip.
Madeline stayed in my home with my cat, Juan, for 10 days, and she was amazing! Juan really bonded with her, and her communication was top-notch throughout my trip. When he stopped eating for a couple of days, she let me know immediately, spoke with the vet clinic, restarted some of his medications, and picked up different food options. Thanks to her attentiveness and interventions, she was able to get him eating again. I came home to a tidy house and clean bedding. I will definitely have Madeline care for Juan again!
Anna is one of the best dog sitters we have ever had (and we use Rover A LOT!)! She is a good communicator, conscientious, very respectful of what might be our weird doggy rules, and of course, responsible. What I especially love is that she seems to take her caretaker role seriously. Meaning, she doesn't give us the vibe like, "Hey, I'm doing YOU a favor," like we've experienced in the past. She takes her role as it is: She is paid to complete a service according to our requirements. So, if she thinks she might not be able to do it as we've asked, she checks in on it. We love that. We love that she takes that ownership over her role and our communication together. She'll always be our first call here in MN!
Kevin was great! We had him house/pet sit for 5 days, and he took great care of our 3 dogs and our kitty. He sent us regular updates, made sure our dogs got regular walks each day, which gave us a lot of relief to relax during our vacation, and all our animals seemed to love him!
