About: Hi, I’m Ellen! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine life without them. I’ve raised puppies, cared for rescues, and love spending time with dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m an avid walker who enjoys being outdoors, but I’m equally happy relaxing inside for cuddle time. At home, I live in NE Minneapolis with my husband and our 5-year-old rescue, Red, who is very friendly and loves both people and other dogs. With a fenced-in backyard and a genuine love for animals, I’d be honored to care for your pet and treat them like family. I work remotely most weekdays, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, housesitting, and daytime care at my home. I also make sure your home is respected and left tidy, so you can return knowing both your pet and space were well cared for. At my home, pets will have plenty of space to relax and play in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced backyard. I love engaging dogs with walks, fetch, brain games, and trips to the dog park. I can also provide food and medication on a set schedule to keep your pet happy and healthy. Our household prioritizes dogs’ well-being, so your pup will be cared for just like family.

About: I had a dog, Ace, for 12 years who passed away February 2020. He had a heart condition so I’m comfortable administering meds. He was a bully breed so I can also handle stubborn and slightly aggressive dogs. I give great scratches and cuddles! I am currently not working so I’m free all day. I will be able to be at your home most of the day if needed. I can provide lots of walks and cuddle time! I was a firm but loving dog owner so I will do the same for your pet. I love both dogs and cats and miss caring for one. I will give your pet all the love and care that I gave my dog Ace. I used to crate my dog during the day so I’m comfortable doing that for your pet if needed.

About: I have owned multiple cats for the last 10 years, and have often been a trusted cat sitter for friends and family during that time. I work a typical first shift Monday - Friday job, so I have the flexibility to drop in for visits before and after work as needed. I am no stranger to the variety of care needed for cats (food, water, clean litter) and am happy to accommodate any additional needs. I am also comfortable with administering any required medications. My dog has epilepsy, so I am very familiar with medications that require timeliness.
