About: I have experience with (and love) dogs and cats; old and young, big and small. I have experience walking, feeding, and administering meds for both dogs and cats, as well as supervising groups of both large dogs and small/medium dogs. I have four cats, as well as experience caring for cats in pet hotel and cat-sitting settings. I've always valued making new furry friends since I was little, and I can't wait to work with yours! I work from home and can easily make time in the mornings and late afternoons/evenings, so visits are no problem to schedule. I do travel a little for work, but I’ll keep an eye on my availability calendar and input those dates a few weeks out whenever possible. We live in a very walkable neighborhood with a parkway, so leashed walks are always an option. There’s also a fenced dog park nearby, so if your dog likes other dogs we can hang out there.

I am also more than willing and able to pick up your baby or babies if you'd like. I've had dogs and/or cats most of my life. My friends and neighbors have regularly trusted me to take care of their fur babies of varying ages, breeds, species and needs for many years. One even had 2 cats, 2 dogs and a ferret. I have about 5 years of experience fostering puppies, with the biggest litter being 5 pups and the youngest being 3 weeks. I love animals and enjoy having fun and playing with them at home, as well as walking them and going to the dog park so they can socialize and run and play with other dogs. I have administered meds both orally and by injection to both dogs and cats. I've also had a cat once that I nursed, because he was about a week old when I got him and kept him. I currently have a full time job, usually working 8-9 hours a day 4 days a week, but my partner is available to be here on days I'm at work while I transition to dog sitting full time. I have a fenced yard and a dog at home that's sweet and gets along well with other dogs. I have plenty of room to run around and play inside also. My pup has lots of toys and is good about sharing them. She's not food aggressive. We enjoy going for walks and do our best to go to the dog park every day for extra exercise and socializing. I know how to give medicine orally and by injection as I have done both in the past.
About: Who doesn’t love dogs? I’ve been born and raised with at least one or two dogs by my side at all times. I’m a teacher most of the time, but this summer I’m looking hangout with some furry friends! Hope to work with you soon! Currently on a teacher summer schedule, my schedule is flexible this summer! We had to find a sitter for our cats during an emergency, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Sofia! She responded to us right away and was more than willing to care for our three kitties while we were out of the country. She has done an amazing job spending time with them, feeding them, giving them their medications, and even cleaning up around the house to keep everything tidy. We could also see how comfortable and happy our cats were with her, which says a lot that she’s clearly a true cat person!
