“Christy is an incredible cat sitter! She is so reliable and clearly adores animals. She kept my cat kids on their regular routine so perfectly that my cats seemed completely at ease when we returned and almost as if we had never left. Best feeling ever! She keeps us updated with amazing daily pics of our cats, their food and water bowls, litter area etc. Its awesome to see everyone doing great while we’re away with a dependable animal lover! We get to thoroughly enjoy our trips knowing our kittos are well cared for back home! Thanks Christy!”

“Lauren was wondering at communication & sending photos. She was patient with our cat, even though she wasn’t very social. We are so grateful for her great care of our furry family member!”

“Kevin did a sterling job with what we gave him to work with - suffice to say Søsha was not quite as well socialized as she needed to be. All in all, he did great work. Always checked in and sent pictures of the girls, and Sadie was in far better condition than when we decided to kennel her two years ago. We know what to do next time and Kevin was entirely helpful with this process. We will be engaging him again in the future - thank you Kevin!”

“Thank you so for taking care of the kitties! Even if they didn’t come out all the time, we knew they were well taken care of and safe. Also thank you for bringing in the unexpected early chewy box delivery!”

“Erin was great. She checked in on my 2 cats for 4 days. She did a really nice job dealing with their personalities and figuring out what was best for them! I will definitely reach out to Erin in the future!”

“Once again Kaitlyn was amazing with our cats, Hunter and Moose! She left the most amazing over cards with plenty of notes and tons of pictures. Never once did I worry about the boys while I was gone because I knew they were getting great care!”

“Sierra did a great job of showing up on time and caring for my kitty. I was really comfortable with her during our meet and greet, Peepers was too so I knew it would be a good fit. I will definitely look for Sierra’s availability next time I need to travel. Thanks!”

“Natalie always does a wonderful job! This time Natalie took care of our cat Jean and our Tortoise Mr Kronk for a week. Jean can be pretty finicky but she thought Natalie was the greatest!”

“Always a great experience having Jennifer watch our cats. The daily pictures and communication is always appreciated and makes it much easier for us to leave on vacation.”

“Madilyn was wonderful! She took time to get to know our routines and meet us and our furball ahead of time. She was consistent and took time to make sure everything was handled during each visit. We would definitely work with her again!”

“Amber does a wonderful job with our boys! She is attentive to their needs, observant of their play preferences, and learned their unique personality quirks quickly. She followed our directions about food, water, litter, playtime, etc. to the letter! We are impressed, and our cats clearly feel safe and comfortable with her. We're definitely booking her in the future!”

“Jordan provided drop in care for our two cats and did a great job! He was a great communicator and sent us fun pictures of the cats each day. He made sure to spend time with them and give them attention while we were gone. Very appreciative of his services!”

About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.
“We like to travel, and Marla has become key partner for us to be able to leave our cats, knowing Marla will take very good care of them. She is very responsible and follows all instructions, she sends us pictures and we feel she really cares. Thank you Marla!”

“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

“Tanya came in to the rescue at the last minute when our usual sitter had an emergency and had to cancel. Tanya responded very quickly. She sent us cute pictures throughout our time away and our dogs seemed to really enjoy her. I definitely would recommend booking with Tanya.”

“Kalia is reliable and very communicative, in a helpful manner. My house looks like it was left when I return home and things are kept tidy which I appreciate! I would recommend her!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brooklyn Center
Ellen was very responsive, and agreed to check in on our kitties even without much advance knowledge for a holiday weekend. She made a separate trip to run through where the litter boxes and water bowls and treats were so that she was prepared when she was stopping by. We really appreciated her thoroughness!

Andy did an awesome job checking in our senior kitty. Instructions were followed, our home was left clean, and Andy took the time to get to know our cat, provide some additional treats, and get some play time in. We really appreciated the communication and the photos!

Cayla was wonderful! We needed a last minute rover after the first one we contacted didn’t work out. She was extremely accommodating and did a meet and greet basically the same day we messaged her. She took notes and was willing to take on 3 orange kitties each with different food needs. Cayla arrived each day right on time, she was very punctual. She provided us with plenty of updates and photos, we were more than satisfied returning home knowing our babies were well looked after. We will absolutely be contacting her for any future needs while we are out of town. Thanks again so much!

Bec does a great job caring for our cats while we’re away and they are always my first choice for cat sitting. They’re always on time and share lots of photos. They even make our shy cat feel comfortable when we’re not around. Highly recommend Bec for cat sitting!

Jessica was a fabulous caretaker of my frail CKD kitty. She followed all of my instructions to a "T" and shared daily updates and photos of Max Kitty. Sadly, Max has since passed away. I'm comforted knowing that Jessica provided such tender care near the end of Max's life when I had to leave town on short notice. I'd definitely recommend Jessica to care for any pet.

I am just so impressed with Carter! They recently helped with Cali’s nail trim and were absolutely excellent. Carter is so professional and was so, so sweet with Cali throughout the entire visit. It is such a relief to find someone so kind and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

Sara was the best sitter we’ve ever had. She truly went above and beyond! She provided top quality care for our cats and was so attentive. It was such a relief knowing they were being so well cared for while we were away. Will definitely work with Sara again for future pet sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brooklyn Center. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
