I have experience taking care of both cats and dogs since I was a kid, and I’ve also been the sole owner of a cat for 4 years now. All pets receive the upmost care on my watch, and I would treat your pet as if it were my own. I’m excellent at maintaining schedules and routine care (feeding, medication, some grooming etc.), following instructions, sending updates, being reliable and adaptable, and overall ensuring your pet’s needs are met. I’m very flexible and available any day of the week and most times of the day, but I would prefer at least a day’s notice beforehand for when you need care. In my home, there’s my 1 cat as well as 2 dogs that are my parents’ dogs. With my cat, she has a daily feeding schedule (4 divided meals at 4-hour intervals) that I’ve maintained for the last few years, and I also scoop her litter daily, keep up with her routine care, and make sure she gets lots of attention and stimulation. I also help with my parents’ dogs when needed as well such as letting them outside, feeding them and providing water when needed, taking one of them on walks, etc.

About: I’v had 2 cats, a german sheaperd & a husky mix. I also lived with both cats & dogs while with roommates & of course have been around many pets of family & friend’s. Currently, I have an elder pitbull named Ladybird with my partner. I am a big home-body who helps care for disabled people few times of week in the evening (usually 4pm-9pm). Other than that, I am usually available short notice & have plenty of time for check-ins to work with you & your pet. -Will always keep leashed when out -Understands pets come with many different personalities & will try to adapt to offer them the most comfort. About: My dogs have always been very high needs growing up, so I have a lot of experience working with different diets, medications, and needs. I'm an athlete, so I can take them out for long periods of time to get exercise as needed, which can be really helpful for hyperactive dogs who have to be cooped up during the day. I'm also entirely capable of caring for senior dogs, I can take things at their pace and make sure they're comfortable and happy. I am currently a full time college student, but I have a lot of open time either between classes or after them. I commute to the Twin Cities from the suburbs, so I can easily travel wherever I am needed to be able to check in on or take care of your furry friends. Being in the cities with my own car I can take dogs out for walks around the lakes or down some of the trails nearby so they (and I) can get some proper exercise before my classes. When caring for pets, I always make sure they are getting plenty of time to move around, especially if I'm just dropping in to check on them, but regardless of the need. I like to keep a checklist of what I need to get done, as well as just having a bit of time to play with or pet them. I can take pets out for walks on foot or with my roller skates, which lets me go longer distances with them. I make sure to clean up any messes I might make, putting everything back as I found it and keeping things nice and tidy for when you get home again. I'm confident staying in new places, and can make sure everything stays safe in your home or space during my time there.
