“I have no idea where to start with this review! Adam and Leang are such a wonderful couple and they were so good with Lilo. They sent me photos and videos to see how she was doing throughout the day which definitely made me feel at ease and you can definitely tell they love and care for their animals since they treated mine like their own. After our meet and greet Lilo was so excited to see her new friends the next day and passed out after her day was done. I will definitely be using them again!”
“Great sitter. Very nice and sends pictures and videos throughout the day. Took great care of my dog and he got to play with another dog all day. She took him on multiple walks and to the dog park.”

“Maureen is a very animal loving person. She sent a picture and a video. By the info she provided about Studly I knew he really liked her!!! Even when we dropped him off he made himself at home instead of his usual separation anxiety issue. We highly recommend Maureen and will definitely use her again!!!”

“Makaila was incredible with my pups, Meeko and Milo! I loved getting updates and pictures—it really made me feel at ease while I was away. You can tell she genuinely cares. I’ll definitely be booking again! Thanks Makaila!”

“Katherine is very easy to communicate with and was understanding of our puppy's potty issues. She sent lots of pictures and made sure our dog took her pills. Our puppy came back exhausted from all of the fun she had!”

About: Our home in Brooklyn Park is ready to host your pet. Having had a Great Dane for almost ten years, we are ready to watch pets in any size range. We have no dogs or cats in the home currently, but are set up to give your pet the best possible experience while you are away! We have experience with senior dogs and dietary restrictions such as raw feeding, as well as giving medications as needed. Currently, both Jackie and I work from home, so there is always someone around during the day. We live right off of a walking trail, so daily walks will be no problem. We have a fenced in yard if your pup likes to be outside. Otherwise they are welcome to hang out with us during the day on one of many dog beds, or on the couch for cuddle time.
“Thank you yet again Kyle and family! Our dog Quincy was excited to visit Coco and all of you. He is always so happy when we pick him up. I'm sure our paths will cross again when we come to visit MN. Best wishes and Thank you again for all the times you provided such special care to Quincy!!”

“Angela cared for our dog with 1 day notice for Dec. 23rd. Our dog was relaxed and happy and hesitant to leave! Coach is a sweetie too! It was only a couple hours but Angela sent photos so we could could relax and enjoy Holuday Glow. So very happy!!!”

“Cassie watched my dog for about 2 months every day while I was at work after my dog needed some time to adjust to a new living situation. Cassie was wonderful, she left detailed reports of the day, and my dog really liked Cassie and her dogs. I would absolutely recommend Cassie!”

“Such a good experience with Yuliya. Glenn went to her home for daycare. I loved all the pictures and communication. Glenn came home happy and will definitely go back. Definitely recommend!”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
“Pamela was great! She welcomed a meeting before dog sitting, and asked care questions. Arlington played well with my dog, and they have a great fenced in backyard for running around!”

“Lindsey and her family were so great! They took care of my 5 month old puppy for the day and treated her so well. Gave her lots of play time and walks and sent many updates with pictures. 10/10 would recommend them to take care of your pup!”

“Melissa did an amazing job of caring for our 16 week old puppy Enzo. Her communication was great and made us so comfortable that Enzo was in good hands. Will be booking with here the next time we need care!”

About: I believe every dog deserves a cozy, happy place where they feel loved and cared for. I’m attentive, responsible, and focused on making sure your pup has a calm, fun, and comfortable stay. From cuddles to walks to sticking closely to your dog’s routine, I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own. ♥️ I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. I also provide overnight care for partial or full week stays, depending on your needs. If helpful, I can also come by to pick up your pup from your home. My home includes two young boys, ages 8 and 6, who love dogs and are very comfortable around them, so your fur baby will be welcomed into a warm, family-friendly environment. 🐶 My yard is not fenced, but your dog’s safety will always be my top priority. When we’re in the backyard, I will keep your dog securely on leash and never let them out of my sight, so you can feel confident they are always supervised and cared for. My house is always pup friendly. Whether your bestie needs a bed of their own or prefers to cuddle with hoomans, I want to give them the best experience away from home possible 🐾
About: As a current dog owner (Rosita, 30lbs), and having had dogs of my own in the past (Scooby & Walnut), I completely understand that special connection of owning a pet. They become more than just a pet, they're family. We only accept one client at a time to ensure 100% care to your pet’s needs. My husband (Andrew) and I both currently work remotely so your pet would have my full attention and the schedule flexibility. My husband Andrew & I are the only humans who live in this house (no children). As a current dog owner myself, I have experience with pet care. I also understand special needs to your furry friend. I can relate because my last doggo, Walnut had a chronic condition that required her to take medication daily, so I have experience with oral medical administration. Be assured that I will welcome your dog the same way I'd welcome anyone into my home. I'd cater to their needs and make sure the dog is enjoying their stay or visit with me! I am organized and responsible but caring at the same time. Thank you!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
