“Korina was so patient with my shy puppy and handled multiple accidents with great understanding. I received videos and pictures through the day and felt very comfortable with my dog being at Korina’s house.”

“Jordan was very kind and my pups were in good spirits when they left. I could tell they had a great time spending the day with him. I definitely recommend him and would book again.”

“Jennifer was so nice to offer a visit to see how my old blind dog, Benny, would get along with her new puppy and maneuver around her house. It was great for both of us! Had no issue handing him over for the first daycare. Thanks, Jennifer, for taking care of my baby!”

“We couldn’t be happier with how well-loved our sweet girl is every time she goes to Madilyn’s! She is clearly showered with snuggles and treats and love and has a great time getting to hang out with Mowgli and the kitties, too, as well as other friendly humans. We feel lucky to have such great care so close by. Thanks, Madi!”

“They were great!!! I've left a few 5 star reviews and later thought that it was not actually 5-star service in a few key areas. That is not so with this sitter. Truly a 5-star sitter for my pup that I will recommend whenever I can!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for 15 years, both in home and out of home dog sitting. I work from home, so the dogs will never be alone. I can also help support training and help with any medications I work from home and have two loving playful dogs. The dogs are outside in the yard frequently and I go for walks multiple times a day with the ease of our walkable, quiet neighborhood I have a large fenced in backyard and can easily crate your dog for safety or comfort if needed. I have space to separate dogs if needed as well.
“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

About: I have a large yard and live within walking distance of a park that includes a dog park. I absolutely love caring for dogs, and my girl Ellie enjoys having canine friends around. We recently lost our other dog, Stella, so Ellie is used to having a companion and does great with visiting pups. I work from home Monday through Friday and am home most weekends, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention. Outdoor time is always available in the yard, and winter walks are weather-permitting with how cold it gets here. Whether it’s playtime or relaxation, your dog will feel right at home. Routine I work from home Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, so Ellie isn’t left alone during the day. I’m also home and available most weekends. Our days follow a consistent routine: Ellie goes out first thing between 6:30 and 7 AM, then eats breakfast. In the winter, walks are weather-permitting, so most outdoor time is in the yard with plenty of supervised play. Dinner is around 6 PM and bedtime is around 9 PM. Visiting dogs fit right into this rhythm, with regular outdoor breaks, playtime, and lots of company throughout the day. I provide a safe and comfortable environment where dogs can relax and play. My home has a fenced yard for outdoor time, and I supervise dogs throughout the day since I work from home. I make sure all dogs get plenty of attention, follow any special care instructions, and have an stress-free stay.

About: I want to be a professional stay-at-home dog mom, so hire me and help me live my dream! I’ve lived with dogs my entire life, growing up in the countryside--farm adjacent. Last year, life threw me a curveball, so, while I transition out of a career in education, I am living my best life as a full-time dog mom—walking them, taking them to the park, letting them in and out, and giving them all of the cuddles. I’d love to take care of your furry loved ones too. I have two rescues with their own “rags to riches” tales to tell. I have loved watching their personalities emerge from trauma and evolve into their quirky, joyful selves. I am not afraid of hosting or working with dogs with some trauma or some behavior issues/quirks as long as they aren’t violent towards other dogs—my dogs are small. I’ve done a lot of reading and research on dog behavior and trauma responses, and training. Note: I am not a trainer, but I can continue what you are working on and watch many videos on training. I welcome special needs or elderly dogs as well as puppies. I often cared for my dad’s 14-year-old, deaf, 90-pound dog with incontinence. I used an assistive harness to get him up and down stairs. I massaged his hips in the mornings to help with mobility and used vibrational cues like stomping on floors to warn him of things (deafness). I just ask for instructions from the owners. For puppies/potty training— I’ll do my best! Our first floor is all wood and easy to clean. No worries here. Dogs welcome on furniture, and I co-sleep as well (that’s what vacuums, steamers, and washing machines are for.) If you have other rules for your dog, I will follow those for your pet. I have dog beds of many sizes in most rooms in the house. Grooming: I do groom my own animals—bathe, blow dry, furmination, nails, hair cuts. I am not a professional, so I do not feel comfortable doing a fancy cut on another person’s dog, but I could do a sanitary and trim (all one length). I have a sink set up for small dogs and a walk-in shower for medium/big dogs. Exercise: I can walk or slow jog with your dog. I also frequent off-leash dog parks in the Three Rivers Park District, as I have a family pass. Please contact me with questions or if you have a situation that I didn’t specifically mention here that you need help with. I’ll see what I can do! Seriously, help make my dreams of being a stay-at-home dog mom a reality!! Prices and services are negotiable upon contact. Ask for references if needed. I'm fair and flexible. I prefer to keep my own dogs on a fairly strict food/med schedule going out and eating at the same time each morning and evening. This way their evacuations (poop) are also on a much more regular schedule which is helpful when we humans need to be on our way to work and have to kennel them when leaving the house. Even though I’m home during the day, I do make sure to leave and kennel the dogs to practice separation. I also practice socializing with people and other dogs while at the dog park, on walks, and while visiting other people’s homes. I keep certain routines for leaving the house and retiring to the house, and for going into the kennel, etc. Building and keeping these routines helps our animals feel relaxed and stable. It alleviates anxiety and establishes me as their alpha/the person in charge, which they need. When in my home, I maintain the boundaries and rules set for my dogs always. Their behavior is my responsibility as is their health and safety. Dogs in my care with may have expectations and it would be responsibility to follow the owners wishes to the best of my ability while maintaining the safety and stability of the home. If I were in the clients home I would follow their instructions to the best of my abilities always. I prefer check lists and written instructions.
About: When having to choose between writing a 20 page paper vs. volunteering at the local humanity society, the latter was chosen. No regrets since then. I do variety of projects that works with my schedule. I choose what works best for you and me. Don't hesitate to ask for accommodation as needed. The back yard has no fencing around to separate houses around but I will always keep a watchful eye out. If your pet is out so am I. I want your beloved to have fresh air and fun as well as be safe.
“This was our first time using Roover, and Rachel made the experience smooth and stress free. Our dog had a great day with her, and Rachel sent lots of updates and pictures!”

“Kaitlin has been great at caring for our Millie girl. She provides a safe and well structured environment for dog daycare. She provides updates and many pictures at the end of the day. Millie comes home happy and tired from playing in her fenced in backyard. Her dogs are very well trained and respectful of the puppy antics. We will continue to use Kaitlin for her services!”
