About: I am a registered nurse in Minneapolis who is looking to pet sit/walk on my days off. I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life, and I was one of the main caretakers for them. I have many off days to care for your pet for the entire day. I have a fenced yard and safe neighborhood for walking. About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of various dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog, and now have taken care of numerous dogs in the year I’ve been on Rover. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings?
