“We couldn't ask for a more reliable and caring person and will definitely book with them again! Loved the photos, our dog was so happy. Allowed us to enjoy the wedding we went to.”

“Tina is an amazing pet sitter! She took care of my two cats, who are so sweet but also high maintenance and she did so well! They both had accidents and she cleaned them, plus set up treats and puzzles for them which I appreciated so much. I am most definitely reaching out anytime I need a sitter, thank you Tina!”

About: I love being around dogs and treat them as family, as they should be! I currently have 3 fur babies, two back labs who are brother and sister and a pitbull. They are my world and I will treat your dogs as such as well. Every dog deserves love and cuddles! I've worked with puppies through senior dogs and understand that every pup has its own personality and needs. I have experience giving medication as my girl receives daily meds for her Addisons. I love being active with dogs whether that's playing catch in the backyard, tug-o-war or going on long walks. I can't wait to meet your dog! I currently work from home so if I'm staying at your place of residence for an extended stay your family member will receive all the attention needed during the days. I have experience crating dogs if needed while I stay at your home. Because I work remotely I'll be able to play with and walk your pet throughout the day.
About: I have always loved animals since I was a child. I am the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I have gained experience in providing reliable and loving care for a variety of pets. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, feeding or offering companionship. I am dedicated to ensuring every pet gels happy and well cared for. Working remotely allows me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care for your pets, whether in my home or yours. I own a comfortable home with access to a yard and walking trail. I am available on weekends, and thanks to my remote work schedule I am able to offer care at all hours during the week. Your pets safety and well-being are my top priorities. I own my own home, which provides a secure and comfortable environment for your furry family members. I currently only have axolotls, which require minimal attention, allowing me to focus entirely on your pets. I ensure a clean, safe and loving environment. I am committed to building trust with both pets and their owners and I am happy to provide regular updates and pictures as requested.
“Maia took wonderful care of our cat, Princess Leia, while we were out of town for four days. She was an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that everything was going smoothly. When we returned home, both our house and our cat were clearly well cared for. Princess Leia was happy to see us, but she also seemed calm, relaxed, and content, which is always the best sign that she's been in good hands. Maia's drop-in visits gave us confidence that our cat was getting the attention and care she needed while we were away. We would absolutely trust Maia with our home and pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter.”

“Derek was wonderful to work with and took such great care of our elderly dog. He ended up struggling a little with us being away from him and Derek did a wonderful job keeping him happy and comfortable in our absence.”

“Sue is a very kind and compassionate person. She took care of my senior dog Joey. I could tell Joey was very comfortable with her by seeing all the pictures of him and the many detailed texts that I received from Sue. Would use Sue again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have grown up my whole life around animals and I love them very much. I have cared for animals of all ages and in many different kinds of situations. I can look after kittens or puppies, seniors, pets with unique personalities, and large dogs. I accept all breeds and can handle larger dogs due to my height. I can adapt to whatever your pet situation might be! I am currently unemployed and have all day and night to watch and care for a pet. I can walk dogs frequently, attend to any cleaning needs, give them attention or anything else they might need. I have a one bedroom apartment with open space in the living room and hiding spaces for a more timid pet. These areas can be blocked for safety reasons if needed. There are several parks and fields around my home for good walking and play. Accommodations can be made depending on the needs the animal has. I will be home with the pet to keep them company and ensure their safety. I have hardwood floors. My apartment is non smoking.
“Jenna was great! She was able to fit us in her schedule to take care of our 2 cats for a week. The fellas got food and plays and pets, and the sulking & lecturing period when we got back was pretty short this time!”

“First time having pop in visits with my boys while on an overnight work trip and I’m so pleased w/ Kendra’s care and attention! I was concerned how they may react with a stranger coming in the home wo my being there and they acted like they knew her forever!! I popped in on pet cam and they were just snuggling into her! Even left a cute note and personalized treats!! Way better than boarding! Kendra will definitely be my go to when I need to leave the pups overnight!”

“This was the first time we used Rover for care of our cat. Lauren made sure we were comfirtable with her take care of our cat and our cat took to Lauren right away. I found out Lauren knows a lot about cats just by taking to her on our first meeting. We plan on ask Lauren again in the future.”

“Ashley was very accommodating was able to book last minute and squeeze me in and still meet my kiddos needs. Communicative and fast response to any questions or concerns I had. Thanks”

“Anna was amazing with my little girl! They really took the time to make sure everything my cat needed was provided and sent lots of photos with detailed report cards after their visits. I’m super grateful for the care they gave my little girl!”

“Marla was so good with Blueberry! I was quite anxious using Rover for the first time, but after the meet and greet, I knew Marla would be a great fit. Her communication was excellent, which eased my anxiety while I was away. She even left a sweet card for me to find when I arrived home. I would highly recommend Marla for any pet sitting jobs - I'll be booking her for the next time I'm away, no question! :)”

“What a blessing to find Juli! She is so knowledgeable about dogs and has so much love for them. My Valentine has a special bond with her. I recommend her without any hesitation. Thanks Juli!”

About: I have always had animals in my life from the time I was a child until I got my very own to love and care for. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I also have extensive experience with cats, bunnies and hamsters too. I will love and care for any animal as if they were my own. I am currently between careers, so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals any day of the week! I also offer multi-day care for those times you may be out of town and need someone to care for your fur baby. I offer in-home care for your animals so they will feel safe in their natural environment. I can adapt to their comfort levels and ensure they have a clean, safe space in your home to reduce stress.

About: I love dogs and recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Lab mix, Bear. I’m not ready to bring a new dog into the family yet, but I’m eager to get to know and care for your beloved furry family members! I grew up with a Dalmatian named Pal, a Heinz 57 called Skipper, and have loved many other dogs along the way, including Maddy, Blu, Mercedes, Birdie, and Moomin. I’m currently working part-time and eager to fill some time meeting, playing with, and caring for your beloved pets so you have peace of mind. I’ll come to you and check in with your dog(s), allow them to relieve themselves, take them for a walk, ensure their water bowl is full and give them some loving attention when you can’t be there.
“Jordan took great care of my cat when I was out of town for a week! I appreciate how he had sent many photos each time he dropped by my apartment to visit my cat, and he had excellent communication. I will definitely be reaching out to him again when I'm in need of a cat sitter again :)”

About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home and have constant availability to meet any dog’s schedule. I love providing them with multiple daily walks and any sort of engagement they need. There are no off-limits areas for your dog in my home. All of our furniture is open to pets. We are very well-versed in keeping food off the counter and ensuring that is a safe environment for your dog. I even have multiple size dog beds from my years of fostering as well as toys, bowls and all the equipment so they can travel lightly!
About: I have always loved and cared for animals in general. I grew up with a Puggle who I passed at 18yrs old (2021), and we added a Pomeranian/Pekingese babe to our family in 2013. I grew up scared of cats, but I have my own now! His name is Panda and he’s 6 now! I taught him how to sit and lay down like a dog. He’s quite stubborn (like a lot of cats), but we practiced definitely made perfect. I’m also a proud doggy godmother to my best friend’s Boxer/Mastiff, Nova. I’m that person who will stop in the middle of the road, get out to direct traffic for a family of ducks to cross. I’ve had to pullover to help dogs find they’re home again. I’m my family’s and friend’s go-to for animal sitting (and human sitting). They rely on my extremely high level of patience and love towards animals, and they also appreciate how stern I am when they misbehave. I’ve got your pet’s back and yours! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom for my infant daughter. My schedule is wide open! She loves going on walks with me and is great with noises of all types. I'm very by the book, so let me know your restrictions and instructions are and trust that they'll be followed. Microchipped or not, your pet is just as important as my pet. Clients usually come back to their space in better condition than it was left to me in.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brooklyn Center
Rachel was so great to work with! She came over to meet our pups prior to her dog-sitting visits, and we could tell that she is a knowledgeable and kind caregiver by the way she came prepared with treats (given with permission!) gave lots of pets as our pups warmed up. From her thorough visit notes and photos, it seems that our (sometime anxious) pups really enjoyed their time with Rachel, and we had peace of mind that they were in loving, capable hands while we were away. We would absolutely rebook with her in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
