About: Hello! I am an animal lover at heart and have an extra special place in my heart for dogs! I have experience caring for dogs since I was little girl. I know how nerve wrecking it can be to leave your pet while you're away and I will strive to provide great care for your dog in order to make sure all their needs are met and beyond. I have a dog and I will promise to treat your dog as my own! I work M-F from home which leaves me with more flexibility for potty breaks and walks as needed for your dog. I can provide pupdates and pictures as often as you'd like to reassure your dog is in good hands! I have a fenced in yard to allow your dog exercise. I am dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment during their stay! I work from home during the day which allows me the flexibility to provide more frequent potty and play breaks for you pup! I can ensure your pup has more attention when needed. There are several walking paths near me to take dogs for walks/potty breaks. I have a fully fenced backyard for play time and exercise. I treat dogs I am caring for as my own.

About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: Every single person says they have the best dog ever. And every single person is right. I have been a dog lover my entire life and have been fostering them for years. My soul dog crossed the rainbow bridge a couple years ago and I’m doing Rover to get my puppy kisses until I’m ready to rescue another. Reactive dogs are welcomed as I’m experienced with all dog behavior during my time fostering pitbulls: reactive, timid, shy, etc. Key points: -dog, kid, and cat free home. It’s just me and it’s quiet and cozy with no traffic coming in and out. -I only board one family’s dog(s) at a time. -My priorities are your dog’s safety, comfort, and your peace of mind. We can talk more about my safety protocols during our meet and greet. -I work from home and will be there the whole time unless I have to go walk a dog. I will always let you know ahead of a boarding if I have walks scheduled and how long I’ll be gone for. I provide very detailed updates and photos especially within the first 30-60 minutes of a boarding to let you know how your pup is settling in. If you’re booking walks, daycare, or drop ins, those get detailed reports and photos, too. I provide 2-3 walks a day for boarding dogs based on their exercise level and let them out for numerous other potty breaks, too. After they’ve gotten their energy out they’re free to relax on my big couch with lots of blankets. They’re free to sleep in my bed, too. My goal is to always give you and your dog a “JW Marriott” experience when booking with me. There are very few people I trusted with my dog and it’s a privilege to be that person for you. My schedule is flexible and I’m home majority of the time. When your dogs are in my care, I will be home the entire time unless we have discussed any periods I will be gone and for how long. My yard is not fenced but we go on a lot of walks for exercise. My dog was not crated but I will respect however you want me to care for your dog including crating. We have LOTS of dog beds and blankets here and it’s very cozy!

About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home and have constant availability to meet any dog’s schedule. I love providing them with multiple daily walks and any sort of engagement they need. There are no off-limits areas for your dog in my home. All of our furniture is open to pets. We are very well-versed in keeping food off the counter and ensuring that is a safe environment for your dog. I even have multiple size dog beds from my years of fostering as well as toys, bowls and all the equipment so they can travel lightly!

About: My dogs have always been very high needs growing up, so I have a lot of experience working with different diets, medications, and needs. I'm an athlete, so I can take them out for long periods of time to get exercise as needed, which can be really helpful for hyperactive dogs who have to be cooped up during the day. I'm also entirely capable of caring for senior dogs, I can take things at their pace and make sure they're comfortable and happy. I am currently a full time college student, but I have a lot of open time either between classes or after them. I commute to the Twin Cities from the suburbs, so I can easily travel wherever I am needed to be able to check in on or take care of your furry friends. Being in the cities with my own car I can take dogs out for walks around the lakes or down some of the trails nearby so they (and I) can get some proper exercise before my classes. When caring for pets, I always make sure they are getting plenty of time to move around, especially if I'm just dropping in to check on them, but regardless of the need. I like to keep a checklist of what I need to get done, as well as just having a bit of time to play with or pet them. I can take pets out for walks on foot or with my roller skates, which lets me go longer distances with them. I make sure to clean up any messes I might make, putting everything back as I found it and keeping things nice and tidy for when you get home again. I'm confident staying in new places, and can make sure everything stays safe in your home or space during my time there.

I have a 5 year old dog who is very friendly I have full availability for dog walking, I’m home house sitting, and drop in visits if you are away. I love all types of dogs. About: Dogs: I have grown up with German Shepherds my entire life. I currently own an elderly one and understand the difficulties of having an elderly dog. But also because I lived with them I learned to handle and read the body language of dogs. I have had a few smaller dogs in my life also so no worries if you own a smaller family member(s) because I'm comfortable with all sizes. (I have also been training dogs for 3+ years and wish to offer that soon!) Cats: My first job as a kid was to watch our kind neighbors cat. Meaning I fed, played and cleaned the litter box. I have also grown up around cats and I own 2 myself Other Animal Family Members: I also have owned many different reptiles, birds and small animals like leopard geckos, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, cockatiels and a few others. (So please feel free to reach out if you need a visit for these family members as well). I currently have afternoon times available! I am free from Thursday - Sunday from 11am to 10pm. I am currently in school so I have a very flexible schedule during that time to stop by and care for your family member(s). Your dog or cat is a family member. I will care for them just as you would. About: I have had my own dogs for the past year or two and absolutely love spending time with dogs. I understand their needs and try my best to make sure each dog gets their own individual needs taken care of. I do this on the side and my schedule is variable. I love to get to know the owners and dogs together, while taking all the necessary precautions to stay safe right now. I am willing to give baths and clip nails if needed, as long as the dog cooperates. I love being able to keep the dog(s) active and engaged because I understand the need for engagement and exercise. I may not have any professional experience but I love everything dog and will work extra hard to make sure your dog is loved and cared for!
