First time using Rover in a pinch! Kelly was wonderful with our two toy poodles. We were gone all week and Kelly took them out, did walks and lots of snuggles! They loved her and it was obvious in the pics she sent! We’ve already booked her for another time!

About: I was born and raised in Southeastern Minnesota on a farm and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I have helped raise horses, chickens, cats and dogs, bunnies and pigs. I originally was going to become a Veterinarian but have taken a different route yet still love getting as much time with animals as I can. I'm also a very active individual and love to ensure your animal gets adequate exercise too. :-) I lived in Seattle for 5 years for school and had the joy of dog sitting many wonderful pets. I can guarantee your animal will be well taken care of and gets lots of attention. I care for them like they are my own. Beau is an active GSP who loves all dogs and humans.

About: For over 5 years, I've been the go-to pet caretaker for many in my community. From energetic puppies to wise senior dogs, I've had the joy of caring for them all. My experience spans walking, feeding, bathing, and even some basic training. Every pet is unique, and I pride myself on recognizing and attending to each one's individual needs. Whether your fur baby needs patience, energy, or a gentle touch, I'm here to provide it. Balancing a remote job gives me the flexibility and opportunity to dedicate substantial time to pet care. I’m fervent about ensuring our furry companions get ample play and attention. I am open for boarding on weekends, and my weekdays post 11am are entirely devoted to caring for pets. Rest assured, your pets will enjoy ample time of fun and care with me! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I've created a pet-friendly environment, free from hazards and with plenty of play space. All pets have access to clean, comfortable resting spots and fresh water at all times. If I'm taking care of pets in your home, I'm respectful of your space and follow all guidelines provided. My goal is to ensure that whether I'm in your home or you entrust your pet in mine, they are safe, happy, and well cared for.

Peggy went above and beyond on taking care of my new 2 month old puppy, Coco. Coco is very needy and needs extra attentionand Peggy was able to use her experience as a dog owner to help with Coco. She also was willing to go and pick up the keys from work which I appreciated a lot as I live in an apartment. I will definitely recommend her! She’s super nice!

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.

About: Hi there, I am a certified veterinary technician, I graduated from Minnesota School of Business. I would love to help out taking care of your pet! I love animals- of course. I've grown up with dogs as well as rodents and I currently have a cat, 2 dogs, and three chickens. I have been a CVT for 7 years, I have volunteered at the humane society as well as feline rescue. I also have plenty experience pet sitting, and am comfortable giving meds. I can pet sit in your home, or I can stop in up to twice daily. I am a full time CVT so I do have a full work day 5 days a week. I have every other weekend off. I am able to provide care before and after work, with more flexibility on my weekends. I am very conscious of locking doors and gates. I always pay attention to medication label directions, as well as keeping potentially dangerous items out of reach (I have a counter surfing lab).

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs throughout my life. I grew up with a reactive dog and can recognize signs that a reaction may occur. I am available before and after work during the week to help walk your dog! On weekends I can do drop ins and walks as needed. I have lots of walking trails and areas to walk dogs near my house. About: I have two years of hands on pet care experience from nannying for a family with two children and they’re young puppy. I regularly walked, fed, played with, and cared for the puppy as part of my daily responsibilities. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I am comfortable providing daily exercise, administering oral medication, and giving injections when needed. I’m responsible, attentive and genuinely love making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. As a recent college graduate, I currently have a flexible schedule while I search for a full-time position. I love spending my free time being active, going on long walks, jogs, and caring for dogs. So pet care is a great fit for my routine. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate a variety of walking and drop-in schedules, including daytime care during the week. I’m a strong communicator and detail oriented, so I take pet care instructions seriously and keep owners updated. I’m also a bit of a clean freak, so I always respect the clients home, clean up after the pets, and leave everything tidy. Most importantly, I prioritize safety, follow routines closely, and make sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brooklyn Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Brooklyn Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
