About: I have been taking care of my own dog as well as friends, families, and neighbors dogs. I love everything to do with all animals. I am currently studying during the year to get a degree in animal studies! I am comfortable and empathetic will all kinds of dogs. I am also comfortable with giving medication as needed. I am currently home for the summer from college and looking for some work! I love all animals and thought this would be perfect for me as I have a very free schedule for the next few months! I am comfortable with staying in your home with your fur babies as well as letting them out, walking them, and providing play time! If they stay in a crate I am also comfortable with taking them out and getting them back in! I can be very accommodating to each fur baby depending on what they need I will do my best to care for all of them as if they were my own!

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. In the past 3 years we’ve welcomed almost 50 fosters into our home, many with behavioral issues. We currently have two rescues that are our life - and we want to welcome your pup into our home. We are heavily involved in the rescue world. We crate train, work on obedience, have the tools for a smooth transition, and go on walks multiple times a day. I currently work from home and am active on breaks with walks, training, and providing puppy love. We believe in routine and keeping dogs on a schedule. We watch our dogs, crate and rotate if needed, and always walk with a secure harness or harness lead. We allow pups to transition as long as they need as being away from home can be stressful!

About: I believe every dog deserves a cozy, happy place where they feel loved and cared for. I’m attentive, responsible, and focused on making sure your pup has a calm, fun, and comfortable stay. From cuddles to walks to sticking closely to your dog’s routine, I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own. ♥️ I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. I also provide overnight care for partial or full week stays, depending on your needs. If helpful, I can also come by to pick up your pup from your home. My home includes two young boys, ages 8 and 6, who love dogs and are very comfortable around them, so your fur baby will be welcomed into a warm, family-friendly environment. 🐶 My yard is not fenced, but your dog’s safety will always be my top priority. When we’re in the backyard, I will keep your dog securely on leash and never let them out of my sight, so you can feel confident they are always supervised and cared for. My house is always pup friendly. Whether your bestie needs a bed of their own or prefers to cuddle with hoomans, I want to give them the best experience away from home possible 🐾

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my house was basically a little zoo, with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and more! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Because my pets lived long, happy lives, I also have experience caring for senior pets, including administering medication, changing diapers, and providing the extra patience and attention they deserve. During college, I volunteered at an animal shelter for nearly two years, which gave me even more hands-on experience with animals of all ages and temperaments. I know our pets are family, and I’ll care for yours with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. I am currently working full time so I want to pick up some evening gigs here and there until i get my footing. I’m hoping to start working part time in the near future so i will be more available for longer drop ins or stays/boarding. I have 2 cats in my home. 1 is great with other animals and kind of acts like they’re not there and the other is a great hider if she wants nothing to do with others. We have a 2 level townhouse so I could always block off the areas or rooms if needed. There is plenty of grass and trails by my home too for walks and potty breaks! At your home, that environment looks different for everyone. I’m happy to learn your routine for what works best for your pet!

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.

About: I've had dogs my whole life! My current living situation does not allow animals. Honestly, I am joining Rover to get some dog time and earn some extra cash! I love animals, but have a special place in my heart for dogs and their sweet personalities! I have been dog sitting and walking for friends and family for over 7 years independently. I am currently working full-time! I am most free to walk pups early in the morning, in the evening, or on the weekends! I am flexible and very communicative! I moved out from home recently and am really missing my family dogs, so anytime with your dog will be just as fun for me as it is for them! I am a very responsible, able-bodied individual who loves to walk or run with dogs depending on your desire for your pup! I have been pet and home sitting since I was 15, I've never had a bad experience, and love to leave a place and pup better and happier than I found them!

About: Hello! My name is Andy, and I have many years of experience loving and taking care of all sorts of animals! Over the years, my family has had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and bunnies—and we’ve also watched many, many more than that short-term. We are familiar with many types of animals and feel comfortable following your specific instructions for their care. I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. Spoiling your pet with a lot of love and personalized attention while keeping them safe and secure are my main goals as your pet sitter. I will be as active or relaxed as your dog needs- anything your dog requires for a safe and happy stay, I will gladly provide. I strive to always carefully follow your instructions. I am an animal advocate with extensive animal handlers and training experience. For many years, I have worked as an animal volunteer and foster parent for animals to be adopted. I have a soft spot for dogs of all kinds, and over the years have personally adopted spaniels, terriers, doodles, shepherds, and cats. I promise to treat your pet as if it is my own, play with it, give it tons of attention and love, and make sure it is fed and comfy while in my care. I have cared for my neighbors and friends pets for the past 30 years. I'm known by all as being a loving pet mom. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! I am available daily for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have experience training dogs and working with rescued animals. Our family dogs are rescues and fosters, and they were trained and cared for by me. They are now certified therapy animals. Also, I feel comfortable giving medications and caring for older animals or those with special needs. I have experience working with animals that need extra attention or care due to a rough past or neglect. As their foster mom, my dogs are rescues that came from neglectful situations and had to be nursed back to health. Both have undergone amazing transformations and are happy, healthy, loving, and playful now. I’ve taken care of many very small dogs and understand their specific needs intimately, as my family owns a number of small pets—and I’ve taken care of larger dogs and understand their needs and likes too, as I’ve supervised the maturation and training of several larger dogs. Speaking of training—I’m confident with pets of any level of training! In fact, if anything I’m something of a good influence on untrained animals, owing to my experience training animals over the years. Pets, especially clever pets, love to get a command correct and get a treat for it! As far as more “exotic” pets, I’m comfortable with a lot! I think animals are fascinating and love to meet new ones—even in elementary school I was one of the kids who took care of our class animals, including our snakes (a rainbow boa and a constrictor), and our iguana (aptly named “Iggy”)—so I’m not afraid of interesting animal friends! I’ll gladly watch your peafowl or your domesticated fox or your ferret, and I’ll take care of it like it was my own. We will treat your pet as if they are one of the family too, with much love, cuddles, and stimulating play! I am a photographer and used to work at a pet kennel, but recently moved, so I am available daily for any service you require. My schedule is flexible and I'm ready to accommodate your pet care needs, and will send you photos of your happy pet as often as you like! About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, grew up with and cared for springer spaniels through college. Can’t have my own pups so I dog sit for family/friends whenever I can. Happy to groom, play, walk with your dog. My friends all know me as an animal lover and I’m first on their list for dog sitting or just to check in on their pup. I have no allergies or aversions, any size dog is great. Available most afternoons, daily I go from Maple Grove to Albertville so any place in between is perfect to stop. I have a soft heart for pets and love them all, your pup will be in great care with me. Thank you for caring for your dog! Thanks! During the school year I can only do weekends. From June to August I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to entertain and exercise your pup. My rescue dog was incredibly anxious when I got her. She tried to get out of her collar all the time. I had to carry her to the car and go very slow with her to start. I am very experienced easing into a relationship with a reactive dog. I have a fenced in backyard that I’m happy to share if that’s what works best for your dog.

About: I’m Rachel, I live with my husband Jeff , we recently lost our beloved pup Lulu. We are hoping to have a bit of a more lively house, so we’d love to snuggle up with your doggy. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced yard. We have experience with giving pets medication and feel comfortable doing this task. During the week we’re able to give potty breaks before and after work. On the weekend the dogs aren’t kenneled, unless we are visiting a non-dog friendly place. We are looking forward to having another friend to bring on walks, join us at the dog park and be a snuggle buddy. We are fairly flexible with our hours and would enjoy having recurring families, as to build relationships between other owners and pets. Thanks for reading! Rachel and Jeff Between me and my husband there will only be a few hours a day (no more than 4) that your dog would be kenneled when we’re not home. All dogs MUST be kennel trained. We have a fully fenced yard to keeps your pup safe. We have outside water and we fully supervise animals when outside. Inside we don’t have any poisonous plants and keep all toys clean by laundering weekly.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Osseo stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Osseo choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Osseo with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Osseo. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
