“Rachel took care of our cat Olaf while we were out of town. Olaf usually hides with new visitors, but he immediately warmed up to Rachel! She did a great job communicating (updates, pictures, etc.) and followed the pet care plan perfectly. Couldn’t recommend her services more!”

“Abbi & Briana took amazing care of our two young cats and 14 year old dog! This was our 2nd time booking with them and we received a lot of wonderful photos, cats and dog looking happy and comfortable in all of them. It made vacation that much more relaxing knowing they were well cared for!”

About: I’m home throughout the day so they’ll always have company, supervision, and care. After adventures, I make sure pups are clean with a calm environment. I’ve had beagles my entire life- Milo is a rare calm dog who needs a bestie. I work from home so I’ll have a lot of time for your furbaby! Your dog gets a safe, active, and loving environment with constant supervision and plenty of attention. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I use a secure leash setup in a large shared outdoor space for safe, supervised hangouts.
About: I have been taking care of my own dog as well as friends, families, and neighbors dogs. I love everything to do with all animals. I am currently studying during the year to get a degree in animal studies! I am comfortable and empathetic will all kinds of dogs. I am also comfortable with giving medication as needed. I am currently home for the summer from college and looking for some work! I love all animals and thought this would be perfect for me as I have a very free schedule for the next few months! I am comfortable with staying in your home with your fur babies as well as letting them out, walking them, and providing play time! If they stay in a crate I am also comfortable with taking them out and getting them back in! I can be very accommodating to each fur baby depending on what they need I will do my best to care for all of them as if they were my own!

About: I am just starting as a pet sitter, but have had many pets growing up. We currently have a 4 year old cat, but we have had another cat, a shi tzu, and a Newfoundland while I was growing up. I love dogs and cats and want to earn a bit of extra money doing something I love. I work part time during the week, 10:45-3 Monday through Friday. I love walking or hiking and would walk dogs before or after my shift. I have lots of free time in the evening for play as well. I have one cat that I love dearly. She has been with dogs before and was comfortable with him. We have no dogs currently. In your home I would be able to walk or play with dogs leashed and off leash depending on the environment.
“Amber was SO attentive to our little puppy and gave her so much love and exercise when she came to visit her! She was in constant communication with us and went out of her way to make sure our pup was taken care of. I cannot recommend her enough! We will be reaching out when we need her service again!”

“Aubrey did a great job with our three extra large dogs! You can tell she loves animals and was very comfortable being around them. Aubrey showed up on time, followed our directions and communicated clearly with us! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Aubrey!”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, grew up with and cared for springer spaniels through college. Can’t have my own pups so I dog sit for family/friends whenever I can. Happy to groom, play, walk with your dog. My friends all know me as an animal lover and I’m first on their list for dog sitting or just to check in on their pup. I have no allergies or aversions, any size dog is great. Available most afternoons, daily I go from Maple Grove to Albertville so any place in between is perfect to stop. I have a soft heart for pets and love them all, your pup will be in great care with me. Thank you for caring for your dog! Thanks! During the school year I can only do weekends. From June to August I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to entertain and exercise your pup. My rescue dog was incredibly anxious when I got her. She tried to get out of her collar all the time. I had to carry her to the car and go very slow with her to start. I am very experienced easing into a relationship with a reactive dog. I have a fenced in backyard that I’m happy to share if that’s what works best for your dog.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. My dog Maggie lived to 18 years old. My new dog Daisy is a cattle dog puppy, she keeps me on my toes. Spending the day with my pup is what I love most in life! We are very active all day and go on multiple walks. Your pet will have a balance of activity and rest while with me. I will accommodate any needs your pet has! I currently am watching pets full time. I would love to watch and care for your pets. I have plenty of time in the day for walks play and rest. I have a large yard and have a playful puppy. If your dog gets along with others I’m willing to watch them. I am also willing to come to your house. I have a crate at my house as well if needed.
About: Keep your pets out of the cold kennel and remaining in the comfort of their own home! I’ve been caring for other people’s animals since I was nine years old and over time that’s grown into a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families. I don’t just watch pets, but step in as a calm, reliable presence so they can maintain their routine and sense of security while you’re away. I’m especially attentive to behavior and communication. Whether it’s managing doorbell triggers, easing separation anxiety, or reinforcing good habits, I work with your pet as an individual. My goal is always a smoother, more balanced experience for both you and your animal. I also have experience with pets who require a higher level of care, including those prone to seizures, pets with mobility challenges, and animals with heightened anxiety around storms or fireworks such as my own Australian Shepard. In those moments I prioritize patience and creating a comforting environment. When you book with me, you’re not just getting coverage, you’re getting consistency, daily communication, and peace of mind. I provide thoughtful updates and make sure you always know your pet is safe and cared for. I’ve been on Rover since 2018 and have built long term relationships with clients who trust me not just me with their pets, but as a friend. That level of bonding is something I aim to earn with every new client. My rates reflect the level of care, attention, and reliability I provide while keeping your pet out of the kennel and inside their own spaces. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet with the same attentiveness and respect you do, I’d be happy to connect and learn more about your needs. I take on pet appointments around providing smart home in house support and installation and do my best to accommodate your pet's needs and schedule. At your residence I try to keep your pets on their normal schedule when it comes to diet, exercise, bathroom breaks, and playtime. My "rental dogs" tend to get more walks with me than they do with their owners as I view it as my own gym time that the dogs also love. During overnight stays I am very respectful of client's homes and have been known to vacuum and do the guest room laundry prior to their return from vacation. I have a Toy Australian Sheppard named Vheissu (pronounced V-Sue) who lives with me half of the time, so if your dog comes over for daycare they may have a playmate.
“First time using Rover in a pinch! Kelly was wonderful with our two toy poodles. We were gone all week and Kelly took them out, did walks and lots of snuggles! They loved her and it was obvious in the pics she sent! We’ve already booked her for another time!”

“Jo is incredibly reliable, flexible and quick to respond. She is super easy to work with and picked up on my pup’s personality right away. I know I can trust Jo to take great care of my Lola whenever I’m away!”

About: Hey! My name is Josh, I am a college student at UW Stout. I am living in Blaine for the summer, and I'm here to help care for your furry friend during this hot summer. I'm a lifelong dog lover who has had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember. Growing up with 3 Labs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I'm committed to making sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, getting belly rubs, or just having someone nearby, I'll make sure they get the attention they need. I understand that every dog is unique, and I'm happy to follow your pet's routine, preferences, and any special instructions to keep them happy and stress-free. I look forward to meeting you and your 4 legged family member! I am currently working full-time but I will happily make the time to care for your pup! I am available anytime after 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, and anytime after 1pm on Fridays. Most weeks I have Monday or Tuesday off. I am usually not available on the weekends but never say never! At your residence for a walk or a drop-in, I will do my best to keep it the same or better than I found it. I will also try my best to keep your pet on their regular schedule for feeding, walking, and playtime. I also have a female Yellow Lab of my own so if your dog likes other dogs I am more than happy to bring her for your pup to have some social time!

Alisha was an excellent Rover sitter! She was excellent at communicating and was sure to ask questions during her visits if she needed clarification on details. I loved seeing pictures of our animals while we were away - it was nice to have that reassurance that they were doing OK 💜🐶🐓 we will definitely be booking Alisha again ❣️

Kevin is great. My sister and I have 2 dogs who were rescued from puppy mills but are still very nervous and afraid of people. Kevin was very understanding and was gentle and great with them. I also have a cat that is 18 and Kevin always spends some time with her, Kevin is very responsible and dependable.

Katie was absolutely amazing!!! We reached out to her last minute to help us over the holiday and she was able to accommodate very last minute. She was super sweet at our visit and communicated throughout the entire booking, extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely be working with her again in the future!!!
David was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our two dogs! David watched our two dogs for the weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the care they received. He was incredibly attentive and clearly has a deep love for animals. He sent us regular updates with photos of the dogs, which gave us great peace of mind. When we got home, our dogs were relaxed, happy, and clearly had a fantastic time. David followed all of our instructions perfectly regarding their feeding. We highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative dog sitter. He treated our dogs like his own, and we will definitely be booking with him again!

This was our first time using rover.com. Emily did a fantastic job. Super responsive and took great care of our German Short Hair Pointer for a pop-in visit while we were out of town. She followed, detailed instructions, was on time, and sent some cute pictures from her visit. We’ll be booking Emily again. Highly recommend! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Anoka with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
