About: I am comfortable with caring for senior cats and those who need a little extra TLC. I am mostly retired and have plenty of free time available. We have lost two of our furry senior friends over the years. Little Boy passed at age 19 in 2025 and Angel passed at age 17 in 2019. Our vet said they lived such long and happy lives because they were so well-cared for and loved.

About: I've been around pets/animals all my life. My husband and I currently have a black lab. We love to spoil our fur babies and take great care of them with routine vet visits. I have watched my friends and families dogs/pets many times. I work from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! We are available for overnight boarding Monday through Friday as well as most weekends. We are also available for day time sitting. We have a large fenced in back yard. Our black lab is not crated. He is very friendly and often compared to a teddy bear and gets along with all dogs.
About: I have a special interest in senior dogs. I have a 17 year old dachshund mix and a 12 year old dachshund. I have adopted hospice dogs and have been a hospice foster. I have experience as a dog foster for rescues in the Twin Cities and am also a volunteer at Animal Humane Society. I work from home and am here most of the time. No problem administering meds, including injections. I work full time from home, so I am almost always here to tend to the dogs. Caring for my own two dogs is an important part of my life and I make sure I’m always meeting their needs. I have two children who live with me 50% of the time. They are 9 and 4 and have lived with small, senior dogs their entire lives. They are very respectful of dogs and I never leave the kids with the dogs unsupervised. About: I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2023 and now do Rover full-time. I will care for cats, dogs, and small animals. Cats are my speciality. I am also available for dog-walking and dog mid-day let-out. I do not do overnight stays due to having a cat with cystitis. As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, and turtles. If I haven't had experience with a type of small animal before, please give me very specific instructions and I will thoroughly research the animal and its care before the booking. In my lifetime, I have lived with five cats and four dogs, was the primary caregiver for two cats and my many fish, and helped to care for the other animals throughout their lifespans. Growing up, I attended three summers of horse camp at Camp Kici Yapi and also had one year of English riding lessons. As a young adult, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, eye drop, and ear drop medications, as well as insulin injections and cat inhalers. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.
“Kevin was simply AMAZING. I recently reached out to Kevin for dog walking and pet sitting services the first time with just 2 days of notice. We were in a major bind. Kevin responded within minutes and accepted! We setup a "Meet and Greet" for the next day, and he showed up promptly on time. I told Kevin about the past experiences I've had with other pet sitters either not showing up or coming late because of double booking with other clients. He reassured me that would not happen with me and his other clients. I have two Siberian Huskies and they instantly LOVED Kevin. He got right down on the floor with them and was petting them! He is a natural with dogs! I felt very comfortable having Kevin in my house. I reviewed the routine that I and my dogs like, and Kevin eagerly paid attention to the detail I provided. The very next day was the dog walking and pet sitting appointment. Kevin arrived EXACTLY on time and even sent me a txt msg so I could be relieved to know my Huskies were getting the attention they deserved, AT THE TIME they were promised!!! When I returned home at the end of the day, the house was all in order, the dogs water bowls (all 3 of them) had been refilled!!!, and my dogs seemed happy! Throughout the pet sitting, Kevin provided great communication with txt msg's, and pics of my Huskies. Again, I feel very comfortable with Kevin in our home, and would book him when we need a pet sitter for overnight stays as well. I absolutely love his communication and feel it's what most pet owners want. I am so glad to have found Kevin and will reach out to him for ALL of our future pet sitting needs.”

About: I passed the VTNE in 2022 and have had my vet tech license for 3 years now. So, I have been trained in doing blood draws, giving meds, nail trims, and so on. -I have also had a pet my entire life since the age of 4 yrs old and will never live another day without one <3. - I am petsmart dog trainer certified but want to go more into animal behavior I work 8:30-6:15 4 days a week. I am free Wednesdays and weekends. I can do quick potty break or drop in visit from 6-7 am during the days I work which are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but anytime on the days I’m off. I am trained in CPR trained and have my vet tech license. I like to get all the information on pets knowing their routine, dislikes/likes, etc so that I can give them the best care. I unfortunately live with my in-laws right now so I am unable to board any pets or provide daycare at my house.

“Sophia did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Max. She was very responsive to text messages and sent photos throughout his stay to keep us up to date. When Max came home I could tell he got a lot of exercise as he slept most of the time. One of the best parts was being able to connect to a Webcam which would give us access to view. Just from the short time meeting Sophia, I can tell she really loves taking care of all the dogs she looks after. Would highly recommend and will be using their service again when we need another time away/vacation!”
