About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: I have my own German Shepherd I have had since she was 6 months. As well as having been around dogs a good portion of my life, I do my best to be what she needs I work very part-time at a dominoes, usually only 4-8 hours a week, i do have appointments on Tuesdays, lasting only about 2 hours so I am always home and have plenty of time for your beloved doggos I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have a firmly secured tie-out and extra leashes for outside potty breaks and/or walks, as well as a 5 year old German Shepherd (she is spade) Who is very happy and animal friendly

About: I have experience grooming, clipping nails, cleaning litter boxes, filling food and water dishes, playing, taking them on walks (on and off a leash), giving meds, and administering IV fluids. I’m a full-time student and I attend all of my classes online. I volunteer Friday afternoons at CSHS, but I also do that remotely. Other than that my schedule is pretty open and I can be flexible. I’ll be handling drop-in visits and some house sits myself. But for longer stays or bookings a little farther from home, Dylan will be coming with me to help out. Between the two of us, your pets will get plenty of attention, company, and care while you’re away. I’ll keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as I possibly can, and I'll follow any/all instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and taken care of, and I’ll keep you updated while you’re away.

About: Hi! My name is Ashlie, I live in Brooklyn Park, MN. I live right across from the Coon Rapids Dam, so there are miles of walking trails right outside my door and a brand new dog park just a block away. I have dog sat often for a variety of dogs for about ten years now. I have a 12 year old westie named Merlin. We love hiking and going to dog parks and breweries together. He’s a very social dog and used to being around other dogs. If you need a dog sitter, I can take your dog on several walks and to various parks each day, they will come home tired and happy! Just know, that as you head off our your vacation, your pets will be comfortable and safe in their own home with me. I will be able to give to best care to pets that can handle the 8-4:30 schedule while I am at work. Extended stays/house sitting works fine with me and will give constant attention to your precious pets while I am there. When caring for your pet in your home, I stick to a strict schedule. I always come straight home after work so we can go on a long walk and then make sure we both get some dinner. Evenings will be spent giving all my attention and playfulness to those more energetic dogs!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and shapes! I love animals large and small and I have dog sat for my neighbors since middle school. My dog is 7 years old now and is my heart. My family and friends call me a dog whisperer because all dogs love me!! I work during weekdays and can move my schedule depending on the needs of the dog.
