About: I’ve been around animals since I was about 8 years old and have always loved caring for them. My friends and grandparents often trust me to watch, feed, and walk their pets when they’re away or busy. I’m patient, responsible, and make sure every pet feels safe and cared for, just like they’re my own. I currently work part-time. On weekdays, I work from 7:00–9:00 AM and 2:45–5:30 PM, which allows me time in between shifts and after 5:30 PM to care for and spend time with your pets! On weekends, I’m generally available, except Sunday mornings until 1:00 PM. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, medication, and routines. I give plenty of attention, playtime, and love while keeping them comfortable and safe.

About: My dogs have always been very high needs growing up, so I have a lot of experience working with different diets, medications, and needs. I'm an athlete, so I can take them out for long periods of time to get exercise as needed, which can be really helpful for hyperactive dogs who have to be cooped up during the day. I'm also entirely capable of caring for senior dogs, I can take things at their pace and make sure they're comfortable and happy. I am currently a full time college student, but I have a lot of open time either between classes or after them. I commute to the Twin Cities from the suburbs, so I can easily travel wherever I am needed to be able to check in on or take care of your furry friends. Being in the cities with my own car I can take dogs out for walks around the lakes or down some of the trails nearby so they (and I) can get some proper exercise before my classes. When caring for pets, I always make sure they are getting plenty of time to move around, especially if I'm just dropping in to check on them, but regardless of the need. I like to keep a checklist of what I need to get done, as well as just having a bit of time to play with or pet them. I can take pets out for walks on foot or with my roller skates, which lets me go longer distances with them. I make sure to clean up any messes I might make, putting everything back as I found it and keeping things nice and tidy for when you get home again. I'm confident staying in new places, and can make sure everything stays safe in your home or space during my time there.

Our Home & Yard: Pups who stay with us get to enjoy a spacious lakeside backyard with plenty of room to run, sniff, explore, and relax. 🌿🐾 The yard is partially fenced, with an opening for lake access, so all outdoor time is fully supervised. There are shady spots for downtime between play sessions. In the summer months, dogs can swim in the lake (with owner permission only). Just let us know if your pup is a swimmer and has your OK to go in. Although I will be the primary care taker, my wife and I work from home full time Monday through Friday. We love to spend our free time taking care of our sweet boy Koda who is a 5 year old labradoodle. He gets along great with other dogs and loves friends. I have a home in a quiet community which is fenced. This allows the dogs to run freely outside for potty breaks and exercise for the pups.

About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: I have my own German Shepherd I have had since she was 6 months. As well as having been around dogs a good portion of my life, I do my best to be what she needs I work very part-time at a dominoes, usually only 4-8 hours a week, i do have appointments on Tuesdays, lasting only about 2 hours so I am always home and have plenty of time for your beloved doggos I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have a firmly secured tie-out and extra leashes for outside potty breaks and/or walks, as well as a 5 year old German Shepherd (she is spade) Who is very happy and animal friendly

About: Pets are my life, I grew up with cats, dogs and even reptiles. I’ve been taking care of all types and sizes of pets my whole life they are my passion & love. I’m currently a stay-at-home pet mom so my schedule is widely available, I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and cats. I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals in various settings, and I have a helper for group dog walking free of charge.

About: I have experience grooming, clipping nails, cleaning litter boxes, filling food and water dishes, playing, taking them on walks (on and off a leash), giving meds, and administering IV fluids. I’m a full-time student and I attend all of my classes online. I volunteer Friday afternoons at CSHS, but I also do that remotely. Other than that my schedule is pretty open and I can be flexible. I’ll be handling drop-in visits and some house sits myself. But for longer stays or bookings a little farther from home, Dylan will be coming with me to help out. Between the two of us, your pets will get plenty of attention, company, and care while you’re away. I’ll keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as I possibly can, and I'll follow any/all instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and taken care of, and I’ll keep you updated while you’re away.

About: I lived with 2 cats for a majority of my life. I have experience watching animals for family and friends, looking to meet new best friends. I am currently working full time and going to school part time to earn my master’s degree. Looking for a fun side job to keep life interesting. I am open to having the animals out in the open or crated when not around. Would love to have a yard to play with animals, but not opposed to going to local parks.

About: My husband Jeremiah and I are huge animal lovers and would love to care for your animal while you are away. I’m often known as the ‘animal whisperer’ because my friends and family’s animals always seem to love me. Jeremiah has always been an animal lover and had his last dog for 15 years. He’s is home full time and has tons of energy and loves playing with dogs, going to the dog park, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. We have a dog and 2 cats of our own so we’re definitely and animal loving household. We’ve even watched some guinea pigs on this app! We have a spacious home with lots of room to play and relax plus a big yard that we are planning to fence in the spring. Until then we use long leads for outdoor play and make sure everyone gets plenty of walks. We can also care for your cat. We love cats just as much and are happy to help with drop in visits, feeding, litter boxes, playtime or whatever is needed. We would love to care for your pet! We are available for drop in visits, walks and dog sitting. We will make sure your dog gets plenty of love, affection. excercise and relaxation as needed. We are available for dog/house sitting at your home as needed. We are available for drop in visits with cats as well.
