About: My family has a large yard, we enjoys all dog breeds. Our our dog run, play snuggle with the pups while families need away time. Rest assured while you are away from your furry family member, all dogs will be wearing a GPS tracking device. If you prefer your dog stay on leash, that is fine, just let us know when booking. I am a work at home mom that enjoys walks outside with our d and in our large yard, looking to help out other families. Our pets are on a routine twice a day eating, snacks as needed and walks every morning and afternoon. Also outside playing together in our 7 acres. We are not fenced in but offer many walks if needed. Dogs will wear a GPS Tracking device while we care for them.
“Jenna did a wonderful job watching Fury my cat while I was away for 6 weeks. Made sure he had food water and clean litter while I was gone! I highly recommend her and if I need a sitter again I'll definitely ask her first!!!”

“Tamany is trustworthy, kind, and very easy to work with. Her drop-in visits have been incredibly valuable to our pups and our peace of mind. We would recommend her to future clients!”

“Kayti was awesome! She was very flexible and willing to meet us prior to her pet sitting Riah. She communicated very effectively letting us know exactly when she would be available. We will for sure be using Kayti in the future!!”

“Highly recommend Kim for your pet sitting needs. She took wonderful care of my cats while I was on vacation. She cleaned out the wet food dishes to ensure they didn't leave an odor, followed all of my instructions, and also went above and beyond to clean up after one of my cats who got an upset tummy while I was away. I will definitely be rebooking with Kim for my next pet setting needs. Thanks so much, Kim!!!!”

About: From dogs to cats (and even a bearded dragon), I've done it all. I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your animal with someone you barely know so I'll do the following to make sure you can feel confident your pets are being well taken care of while you're away: - Multiple updates throughout the day confirming eating and bathroom habits - Pictures of the activities we've been up to - A detailed daily plan developed to make sure we never miss a beat with their normal routine Reach out so we can develop a plan that meets your needs! Im free for walks after work during week days which is typically around 5 PM (depending if I'm working from home or on-site). On Thursday and Friday, I have midday availability depending on travel distance - reach out and we can talk through details! I'm much more free on weekends so with notice I can make just about anything work! As an owner of a very large (German Shepard/Great Pyr mix) dog, I'm very familiar with the worries of a pet parent. I will treat your animal like my own and can handle even the largest of them (including pullers and reactive dogs).

I treat every pet like my own and always want owners to feel confident knowing their buddy is in good hands. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions and/or concerns at any time! I look forward to getting to meet your furry friends! • i take online classes but will be graduating soon so i have a very open availability schedule now and coming up so i will be able to take care of your pet and give them all the attention they need at anytime, all day, everyday. • i live in an apartment with my boyfriend and his roommates + 1 cat but we will be moving out soon. in the meantime, just an fyi that our roommates don’t mind other animals in the apartment and are all very nice people.
“Danielle did an amazing job caring for our three cats while we were away. She made sure our older cat got his medication twice a day. She went above and beyond basic care for our new kitten by socializing with her. We appreciate her attention to detail and follow through. We look forward to leaving our cats in her care next time we need to be away.”

About: Keep your pets out of the cold kennel and remaining in the comfort of their own home! I’ve been caring for other people’s animals since I was nine years old and over time that’s grown into a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families. I don’t just watch pets, but step in as a calm, reliable presence so they can maintain their routine and sense of security while you’re away. I’m especially attentive to behavior and communication. Whether it’s managing doorbell triggers, easing separation anxiety, or reinforcing good habits, I work with your pet as an individual. My goal is always a smoother, more balanced experience for both you and your animal. I also have experience with pets who require a higher level of care, including those prone to seizures, pets with mobility challenges, and animals with heightened anxiety around storms or fireworks such as my own Australian Shepard. In those moments I prioritize patience and creating a comforting environment. When you book with me, you’re not just getting coverage, you’re getting consistency, daily communication, and peace of mind. I provide thoughtful updates and make sure you always know your pet is safe and cared for. I’ve been on Rover since 2018 and have built long term relationships with clients who trust me not just me with their pets, but as a friend. That level of bonding is something I aim to earn with every new client. My rates reflect the level of care, attention, and reliability I provide while keeping your pet out of the kennel and inside their own spaces. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet with the same attentiveness and respect you do, I’d be happy to connect and learn more about your needs. I take on pet appointments around providing smart home in house support and installation and do my best to accommodate your pet's needs and schedule. At your residence I try to keep your pets on their normal schedule when it comes to diet, exercise, bathroom breaks, and playtime. My "rental dogs" tend to get more walks with me than they do with their owners as I view it as my own gym time that the dogs also love. During overnight stays I am very respectful of client's homes and have been known to vacuum and do the guest room laundry prior to their return from vacation. I have a Toy Australian Sheppard named Vheissu (pronounced V-Sue) who lives with me half of the time, so if your dog comes over for daycare they may have a playmate.
About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I care for every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable and at home. I have experience with a large, active German Shepherd and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. While I do have a resident dog, every pet's comfort and safety comes first. My home allows dogs to be separated when needed, and I'm happy to provide individual walks, feeding routines, and personalized attention so every dog has a positive experience. What sets me apart is my communication and attention to detail. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet's stay, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they're safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and dependable home where your pet is treated like family. I have a hybrid work schedule, which means I work from home several days each week and have flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care and prioritize keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it's morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening cuddles, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience so your pet feels right at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out. I also have a friendly resident German Shepherd who enjoys other dogs, so guest dogs should be comfortable around larger breeds. That said, your pet's safety and comfort always come first. My home is set up so dogs can be separated if needed, and I always supervise introductions and interactions. I'm happy to provide individual walks, feed according to your dog's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and accommodate crate routines if that's what your dog is used to. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. We have a toddler in our home (who has grown up with our dog and is respectful), so guest dogs should be comfortable around young children. Safety is my top priority, and I carefully supervise all interactions between pets and family members.
“I just love April and how she takes care of my cat! I’m so glad I found her. She has cats also so she always tries different fun things with my cat. I like that. And if I didn’t want April all to myself I would tell everyone to hire her for their pets…! She is great!”

“Gloriahna did a great job with our Goldens! They were well cared for and happy when we got home. Love the updates and photos. Will definitely trust Gloriahna will our pups again!”

About: I’ve pet sit since I was about 12 years old typically while babysitting! I love all pets so much and think that taking care of them is so fun! Being around animals is like therapy for me, so being able to petsit is something I enjoy so much! I love being able to care and spoil pets while I am with them. I also care and respect you, the owner, if in your house I make sure that it is as clean, if not cleaner, than it was when you left. I also promise to treat your pet like my own. I currently work full time Monday through Friday from 9:45-4 as a nanny. Aside from this time I have a lot of flexibility and would love to help your family! As I said before, your pets are going to feel so loved in your home. I will love on them and give them so many pets! I make sure that if they make a mess I clean it up to keep your home clean and your pets (and you) happy

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Andover
I cannot say enough good things about Kayti and how well she helped care for our dog while we were out of town over the 4th of July! Our pup was scared of the fireworks and Kayti was so patient and kind towards him. She comforted him and never forced him into a situation that would make his anxiety worse. She ensured he was fed and received his medications while going above and beyond to leave animal planet on our TV to drown out some of the noise. She had fantastic communication and kept us updated regularly. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with their pet!

We found Abigail after a sitter last min canceled on us. She was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. I felt very comfortable leaving my young pup with her. She asked a lot of questions and made sure to have all the info that would help her provide the best care for her. I checked in on Charlie and had a reply within minutes. Lastly, Abigail got some adorable and funny pictures of Charlie. I would recommend her for any dog needs. I would love to have her back in the future!

My animals absolutely adore Tahni. Tahni usually brings her delightful, dog and cat loving young daughter to her visits. She is a little super star and helps her mom with nail trims and feeding my dogs and cats. I love the pictures they send and the special attention they give my beloved pets. I highly recommend Tahni and her sweet family.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
