“Kim K did an amazing job with our almost 16 year old picky kitty. It was the first time we had only one to watch and we were worried about her getting too lonely. She greeted Kim for pets and even go back to bed before the end of the visit, which meant she was happy! We will definitely be using Kim again for all our pet needs 😊”
“Tamany has been great to work with! She has been very flexible with our schedule and I can tell she really loves our pups for the short time she is there. I would highly recommend Tamany! 😊”

“Kayti was wonderful as usual. She sent updates and photos of how Scully was doing through our entire trip. Scully doesn't like people she doesn't know, and Kayti is able to get some interaction with her. I highly recommend her to others.”

About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.
“Jenna did a great job taking care of our deaf cat. She provided great feedback on the Rover cards and cleaned up after he spit up a hair ball. Would highly recommend!”

“Gloriahna did a great job with our Goldens! They were well cared for and happy when we got home. Love the updates and photos. Will definitely trust Gloriahna will our pups again!”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I care for every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel comfortable and at home. I have experience with a large, active German Shepherd and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. While I do have a resident dog, every pet's comfort and safety comes first. My home allows dogs to be separated when needed, and I'm happy to provide individual walks, feeding routines, and personalized attention so every dog has a positive experience. What sets me apart is my communication and attention to detail. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet's stay, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they're safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and dependable home where your pet is treated like family. I have a hybrid work schedule, which means I work from home several days each week and have flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care and prioritize keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it's morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening cuddles, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience so your pet feels right at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out. I also have a friendly resident German Shepherd who enjoys other dogs, so guest dogs should be comfortable around larger breeds. That said, your pet's safety and comfort always come first. My home is set up so dogs can be separated if needed, and I always supervise introductions and interactions. I'm happy to provide individual walks, feed according to your dog's normal schedule, administer oral medications if needed, and accommodate crate routines if that's what your dog is used to. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. We have a toddler in our home (who has grown up with our dog and is respectful), so guest dogs should be comfortable around young children. Safety is my top priority, and I carefully supervise all interactions between pets and family members.
“Hillary is the best cat sitter you could ever ask for! She took care of my two cats while I was away on vacation and I could not be happier with the great care she provided. Hillary went above and beyond by sending updates and adorable photos even one shot of my very elusive tom cat! I was able to truly relax and enjoy my trip. She didn't just handle the basics like feeding and cleaning the litter box; she spent quality time playing with my cats and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. And She also took great care of watering my flower pots!! When I returned home, my cats were completely relaxed, happy and healthy. The house was left perfectly clean and tidy. Hillary is professional, highly reliable, deeply trustworthy and a joy to work with. I will definitely booking her for all my future trips.I cannot recommend Hillary highly enough!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication and patience. I have taken care of dogs ranging from 2 years or to 17 years old. I have experience with older dog and having to clean up accidents as well. I currently have a full time job that I work from 8:30-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9-3 on Fridays. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Andover
We found Abigail after a sitter last min canceled on us. She was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. I felt very comfortable leaving my young pup with her. She asked a lot of questions and made sure to have all the info that would help her provide the best care for her. I checked in on Charlie and had a reply within minutes. Lastly, Abigail got some adorable and funny pictures of Charlie. I would recommend her for any dog needs. I would love to have her back in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
