“Luca has been so happy and excited when Margaret has stopped in for a visit! He is taken such great care of and enjoys all the tummy rubs after chasing Margaret around the yard!”

“Alisha was the perfect pet sitter for my two cats. She was prompt and followed their feeding scheduled as discussed. She gave the best daily updates! I could tell by the way she described her interactions with my boys that she was really paying attention to their character. I would definitely choose to use Alisha again!”

About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t caring for pets! I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have also cared for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets for family and friends away on long trips since I was around 10 years old. I love all animals (even bugs🩷) and I can guarantee I’ll care for your pet like my own! I am a college student home for the summer, so my calendar is free! I keep my schedule updated and I accept bookings almost anytime. I’m flexible! Whatever your pet is used to, I can match. In my own home, I ensure the kitty has food, water, and clean litter box available at all times. We play for 15 minutes a day at minimum, but he’s a very hyper cat so he runs around on his own half the time. For my dogs, I let them outside whenever they ask to be let outside haha. If your dog has a schedule, I’ll follow it. I feed them twice a day and ensure they have water at all times. I play with one of my dogs for about 30 minutes each day, the other one doesn’t like to play (She’s a bit strange…). Whatever your pet needs, I can do! I will do my best to keep their routine as unchanged as possible while you’re away.
“Danielle came over to take care of/ check on my super senior cat while I was out of town for a long weekend. She took care of all the things I asked of her to do for my kitty. I would rebook her if I ever need a sitter again.”

“Kevin has been taking care of my cats when I’m away for several years. He’s so good with them and so reliable and almost always available. I’m so happy to have him taking care of them when I need to be away.”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, grew up with and cared for springer spaniels through college. Can’t have my own pups so I dog sit for family/friends whenever I can. Happy to groom, play, walk with your dog. My friends all know me as an animal lover and I’m first on their list for dog sitting or just to check in on their pup. I have no allergies or aversions, any size dog is great. Available most afternoons, daily I go from Maple Grove to Albertville so any place in between is perfect to stop. I have a soft heart for pets and love them all, your pup will be in great care with me. Thank you for caring for your dog! Thanks! During the school year I can only do weekends. From June to August I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to entertain and exercise your pup. My rescue dog was incredibly anxious when I got her. She tried to get out of her collar all the time. I had to carry her to the car and go very slow with her to start. I am very experienced easing into a relationship with a reactive dog. I have a fenced in backyard that I’m happy to share if that’s what works best for your dog.
“Mya did an awesome job!! She took lots of pictures and gave updates for each animal :). She is super sweet and goes above and beyond!! We will definitely be using her again!”

“We had some hiccups in the beginning that were my fault, I sent her to the wrong address because I failed update the address after I moved. She was flexible and great a communicating with me. My cats were well taken care of.”

“Tamany is trustworthy, kind, and very easy to work with. Her drop-in visits have been incredibly valuable to our pups and our peace of mind. We would recommend her to future clients!”

“Amber did such a great job taking care of our two kitties while we were away. She was so communicative and sent photos of the time she spent feeding and playing with them. That put our mind at ease, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing our kitties were in good hands Thanks Amber!!”

About: Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years and truly love spending time with animals. I’ve raised and trained my own Lab (now 10), so I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that’s consistent with what they’re used to. I naturally pay attention to each dog’s personality and energy. Some love long walks and playtime, while others just want a calm presence and a little extra comfort—and I’m happy to meet them exactly where they’re at. Building trust with animals is really important to me, and I try to create an environment where they feel relaxed and at ease. Right now I have a very flexible weekday schedule, so I’m able to give your pet plenty of time, attention, and care. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or just spending time keeping them company, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of and sticking to their normal routine. I’m comfortable following whatever works best for your pet—crating, free roaming, feeding schedules, medications, or training. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously. As I continue on Rover, I’d love to eventually offer boarding and build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I have a super flexible schedule right now, which allows me to give plenty of time and attention to your pet. Whether you need someone just to give a quick pet or to give them dinner, I have time for your loved one. I am dedicated to keeping your pet as comfortable as possible. Building trust and understanding an animal’s routine is essential for success. Whether your pet free roams or is crate trained, I try to make things as easy and stress free as possible for them.
“Excellent sitter! Very flexible with her schedule. My Wife and I decided we wanted her to visit the dogs a little early and she did hesitate to help! Our dogs look so happy! You will not regret booking her!”
About: I have had dogs my whole life and have always helped in taking care of them including walking them, feeding them, playing, etc. I also have experience with quirky dogs because my dog is very anxious. I am free weekends at any time so morning or night and during the weeks I am available during the evening. I also cannot stay overnight with pets for now because it is the school year. I help with my dogs in lots of ways. I take them out, walk them, feed them, give them medication(pills), play with them/keep them entertained. I love being around animals and strive to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I will also add I am very allergic to cats so I am only available to watch dogs.
“Sarah has been amazing with my girls. She kept me updated with everything so I didn't need to wonder how they were doing. She even went out and picked up all the poop when I told her prior that I would do it when I got home but she even went out in the dark rain again! She played with the girls and cuddled when that's what they were in the mood for, too. I definitely would recommend Sarah. She was a lifesaver ❤️.”

Champlin pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kevin is great. My sister and I have 2 dogs who were rescued from puppy mills but are still very nervous and afraid of people. Kevin was very understanding and was gentle and great with them. I also have a cat that is 18 and Kevin always spends some time with her, Kevin is very responsible and dependable.

We had a great experience with Mya! She took such good care of two dogs while we were away, and it was such a relief knowing they were in good hands. She was dependable, caring, and really paid attention to both of them. You can tell Mya genuinely loves animals, and we really appreciated the care and attention she gave our pets. We’d definitely trust her again and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets!

David was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our two dogs! David watched our two dogs for the weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the care they received. He was incredibly attentive and clearly has a deep love for animals. He sent us regular updates with photos of the dogs, which gave us great peace of mind. When we got home, our dogs were relaxed, happy, and clearly had a fantastic time. David followed all of our instructions perfectly regarding their feeding. We highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative dog sitter. He treated our dogs like his own, and we will definitely be booking with him again!

This was our first time using rover.com. Emily did a fantastic job. Super responsive and took great care of our German Short Hair Pointer for a pop-in visit while we were out of town. She followed, detailed instructions, was on time, and sent some cute pictures from her visit. We’ll be booking Emily again. Highly recommend! :)
