“Shari was in communication with me every day and shared pictures of my fur babies so that I didn’t have to miss them as much. I didn’t worry about them while they were in her care.”
“Absolutely phenomenal job! She was my first time using Rover and her comments and photos were very reassuring! I will definitely be using her again. ❤️☺️”
“Lyndsay was friendly and responsive and left a great summary about her visit! Our pup seems good and tuckered out ? loved the pictures she took as well”
“Tamany and her husband have trained a large, young, neutered dog for the last year to be friendly and obedient. Our small dog, who is often afraid of large dogs, is happy playing outside with Samson. Her 13-year-old daughter and she often walk Samson together in the morning around the streets in their neighborhood. Samson is gentle at the dog park, not responding in kind to aggressive dogs. They have successfully taken day-long trips in the van with the dog and all the family. So, Tamany knows how to care for and treat a dog to get the best behavior and keep him happy. Tamany is a stay-at-home mom of four school-age children, who drops them off and picks them up from school. They have a large double lot yard with plenty of shade in a quiet neighborhood. A large area in their basement is cleared out for the dog and his kennel. Before adopting Samson, they cared for a cat throughout his life, involving the children in his care.”
“Super great with my dog!”
“This was my second time hiring Emily and she was just as awesome as the first time! I came home to a happy cat, fresh food (depleted from him eating it obvi) and water, a clean litter box and little report cards. She was also super accommodating when it came to giving her my keys as well. Highly recommend!”
“Kevin was great. He spent time with both my cat Maggie and bunny Snickers and sent me pictures each day. He was very responsible. It was good to be on vacation and know my fur babies were in good hands and being taken care of.”
“Samantha was so great! We returned home to two happy dogs. She has such a calm and welcoming presence which was great for our more high strung little buddy!”
“Jessica was a great introduction to Rover. She responded to my request within 5 minutes and coordinated a time that worked for both of us. She arrived on time and provided photos. She answered my questions and made sure to ask questions I hadn’t thought about to best care for my girl. As an owner of a senior special needs dog it’s clear she has the patience and experience to provide great care as a sitter.”
“Eli fit me in on a tight schedule and was very reliable. Would book again!”
April & Austin E.
“April truly cares for the pets she’s caring for! Her love for animals shines bright and she always makes sure to have their best interest at heart!”
“Nicole was great! She sent many photos, and even took some time to play with and brush my (rather feisty and temperamental) senior cat. I'll definitely have her back for all future trips!”
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds! I currently own a little pupper named Luna. She’s 15 months old and full of energy, so she keeps me on my toes. I’m no stranger to a dog with lots of energy. I’m looking to help out with dog walking and visits for animal parents in need. I’m currently taking a break from working in healthcare (I’m a nurse) so I have plenty of free time these days. I would describe myself as a ‘busy body’ so I’m really looking to help out owners that need dog walking or playtime visits. I prefer a M-F schedule but I’m also open to helping out on weekends! I like to give animals time to warm up to me before we start walking or taking on any other tasks. It’s important that your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared with me. Sometimes I will use treats as way to help ease nervousness and build trust. I’m also very cautious individual so I always scan my environment before proceeding forward. I’m BLS certified and first aid certified through the American Red Cross. Hoping to obtain certification for animals soon!
“Very helpful and responsible!”
About: My first degree in animal medicine and previous career as a veterinary technician has given me experience caring for many pets. I have had cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters throughout my life. I also check in on pets of friends and family when they are away to allow pets to remain comfortable in their own homes. I'm comfortable giving medication and a bath if needed during the drop in visit. I'm currently working on my masters degree in nursing and this allows me to earn some income for my family while in school. I am allow to choose days that I am available and keep a flexible schedule for my life. I have three cats and a cattle dog that all have their own personalities and daily needs. We go on walks and visit dog parks to keep up with the energy demands of out dog Harvey. He also has food allergies that require some special feed with raw food and supplements. My past career in veterinary medicine as a technician has allowed me to be comfortable with many pet personalities and medication administrations.

“As a fellow rover sitter- I recommend Joe for the job! He is gentle, patient, kind-hearted & trustworthy. I had the pleasure of working with Joe at a dog boarding facility & he was nothing but awesome with every dog that we took care of. Joe also has 5+ experience of taking care of various friends’ & family members’ dogs!”
David & Amy B.
“David was great, timely and communicates. My little guy doesn't meet a lot of males so I wasn't sure how this would go. They became fast friends. KC was well taken care.”
Jamie & Alexander H.
“Jamie and Alex were fabulous and Diggs and Storm enjoyed their time running and retrieving during their visits. I appreciated their responsiveness and it was clear they were comfortable with managing two larger high energy dogs. I will definitely use them again.”
