“Kayti was awesome with our dog and highly recommended!!!We will def. be using her again for future trips and referring her to our friends. She treated our dog like her own. We got lots of pictures and videos from her throughout our vacation. Thank again.”

“Elizabeth and Eric are dog people! I doubt you can find a dog they don't love. They made my hyper active lab mix very happy. We appreciate them and will return if needed”

“Judy is a sweet lady who seems genuinely interested in caring for, spoiling, and spending time with my dog. I’m not so sure how much she walked him, I suspect not too much, but otherwise she’s really kind and seems to care quite a bit for my pet, which means a lot to me. I highly recommend Judy for pet sitting!”

“Lori was amazing! She made Nipsey feel like a part of the family! She updated me everyday and sent pictures of Nipsey. Nipsey definitely enjoyed himself and we will most certainly book her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including my own. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, giving oral medications if needed, and caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I understand that every pet is unique, so I adapt to their individual needs and routines to help them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply keeping pets company, I can easily adapt to their normal routine and give them the attention and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and daily routines. I also make sure pets always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and close supervision to keep them safe and happy while you’re away.
“Ian he was a really awesome sitter. He took very good care of my pup. It was her first time being boarded. He made sure she was very comfortable and while taking care of during her day, he sent many messages and pictures and kept me updated on how she was doing. I would highly recommend for your next boarding experience you book with him!”

“Laurie was AMAZING with my Honey! This was the first time I was leaving her, so I was a little bit nervous, but Laurie sent me pictures everyday and told me how she was doing. When I went to pick Honey up, she was sad to leave!”

“April and Austin take amazing care of Hercules! He loves staying there when we go out of town, and when we arrive he immediately starts to run around the fenced yard and play with Tulla. My family talks about how comforting it is to know he's in great hands and always has fun. We also love the pictures and updates while we're away! I would highly recommend entrusting your dog to their care.”

“Dave is a very kind and communicative sitter. It was clear that Dave is a dog lover and I was happy knowing that my dog was going to get loads of attention. Dave sent updates and pictures which was highly appreciated and I could tell that my dog was comfortable in the home and was very fond Dave.”

“Melinda did a great job with Sheba. Even though it was very cold Melinda got Sheba outside to get exercise. She did a great job of learning about Sheba and understanding how to best take care of her”

“My dog had a wonderful vacation while staying with his family. I think she enjoyed time with everyone, in the family, Kay, Rick, Omar Justas and Vanya. Kay sent me many pictures of her with each, and every one with Willow. I will definitely book with them again. In fact, I have already tried, but they’re busy when I need them. We’ll see you again next time”

“They always take good care of Mia, and we appreciate the photos and updates they provide. This is our second time boarding with them, and we will absolutely board there again when the time comes. Their two dogs, Henna and Rocky, are so sweet as well.”

“Amazing family! They take such great care of Geno! They are always sending pictures & updates while Geno is with them! Highly recommend this wonderful family to care for your dog.”

“Our puppy had a great time at their house! We're glad he was able to get lots of play time. We greatly enjoyed receiving pictures/updates of our puppy while we were away. We highly recommend Linnea & Nate!”

“We have never boarded our puppies before and it was with trepidation that we chose Alicia from Rover. Our dogs are rather picky but everyone got along famously. We will definitely book with Alicia if she will have us.”

“This was my first time booking with Ash, and it was great! She's quick with responses and super pleasant to work with. It was so nice getting pictures and updates while my two pups were boarding with her. They seemed to really enjoy themselves! It gave me peace of mind knowing my dogs were in good hands while I was away. She's in a great location, too, which was a plus! :)”
“Willow was so so happy from the minute she hopped out of the car! She bolted straight into Tanya’s home and didn’t think twice about leaving us. Tanya did a great job of balancing Willows time there and knowing what she needed. She will be happy to go back, like visiting a family friend :)”

“Bryan took excellent care of our energetic puppy! She went for walks, played with other dogs- she clearly got plenty of exercise. We really appreciated the photo updates throughout the weekend. We will definitely book with Bryan again!”

“Kyle was absolutely fantastic! He watched our Alaskan Malamute puppy over Thanksgiving week—her very first time being away from home—and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. At just shy of 5 months old, she had never been boarded or stayed anywhere else, so I was incredibly nervous. Kyle put my mind at ease right away. Not only is he genuinely kind, but it’s obvious he truly knows, understands, and loves dogs. He was responsive the entire week, sent plenty of photo updates, and even brought her along to his family’s Thanksgiving dinner, where she got tons of love and attention. When we picked her up, she was still the same happy, wiggly bundle of joy we left—clearly well cared for and comfortable the whole time. We’re so grateful for the peace of mind he gave us. Absolutely would recommend Kyle to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pup!”

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we contacted Britni, we felt completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care. Britni and her whole family were incredibly kind, reliable, attentive, and kept us updated throughout our time away, which gave us such peace of mind. Our dog was so happy and well cared for, and it was obvious that they genuinely love animals. Everything was handled perfectly, and we came home to a very happy, relaxed doggie. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with them again! Thanks again Britni ❤️🐾

Laurie was so great with our dogs while we were away for almost two weeks. We have a senior dog and a one year old energetic dog-so very different needs. Laurie was great with both of them! Communication, including pictures, put our mind at ease that the dogs were doing well. We are so thankful for Laurie that we found a good fit.

Megan and her husband Michael were awesome!!!! My dog had a vacation of her own! She was very well taken care of and I feel like treated like she was one of their own!!! She got along perfectly with their other dogs and had the time of her life! She e received daily updates and pictures which I was very grateful for! I cannot wait to have Megan and Michael care for Lottie in the future I am so grateful I found them!

We were so fortunate to find Margaret! She promptly answered our request and set a meet and greet. As soon as we met her we knew she was the right person to care of Bandit. Margaret is kind, welcoming and thoughtful, she took care of Bandit as he was her own. Her wonderful care helped him come out of his shell and have fun. We looked forward to the updates Margaret would send our way, it was a joy to see Bandit having the best time. Margaret and her family are the best hosts and we would love for Bandit to stay with them again.

Stephanie and Nick took great care of our 2 dogs for 10 days while we were on vacation. Even our shy girl Gertie warmed up and got lots of snuggles. From the moment we met, you could tell they were dogs people. Their dog Cooper is so sweet too. They made me feel so at ease with leaving our babies with them. We will use them again in the future for sure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
