“Always dependable. When I secure a spot for Murphy he gets more than just daycare....he gets authentic love and guidance and comes home calm and relaxed. I appreciate the dog socialization Murphy gets from many Rover homes but in this home he gets the individual human attention I can't always provide him as they don't take many pets at a time. I really appreciate these two dog lovers!”

“Caitlin was exceptionally caring and attentive towards my adorable pittie Lilah. We were delighted to receive several pictures and video showcasing Lilah’s calm and gentle demeanor. We are immensely grateful for finding someone who will provide the utmost care and love for our precious dog.”

“Sadie, my sometimes excitable dog, had a great two week vacation with Sophan and her husband. She enjoyed racing around a large yard, snuggling next to them on the couch. Sophan cared for her as if she was her own dog. When I picked her up, she was very clearly happy with them and their grandchildren who were visiting. When I need a sitter again, Sadie will return to Sophan.”

“Awesome experience with Brit and Matt. Thank you so much for letting Monroe take care of you for a weekend. I can tell she had a great time because she is exhausted.”

“Amy is fabulous to work with and has a pulse on her mix of dogs she watches. She gets back to you promptly and will be as flexible as possible. I have a busy 16 month old and he had the most wonderful time with her. I am so relieved I found an outstanding dogsitter”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including my own. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and daily routines. “Renee & James took great care of my English Bulldog who needed medication during his stay. The medication administration was not planned when we booked. Renee & James sent pictures and communicated concerns about my dog with me throughout his stay. My elderly English bulldog is proving to be a typical bulldog with complex needs and Renee & James handled all his needs extremely well.”

“Amanda was really good with Hazel. Made her feel at home and she was very attentive to Hazel, with playing with her dog and others, she had such a good time! Hazel was a very tired dog when she came home from all the attention and activity. We will definitely rebook with Amanda again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Champlin
Laurie was so great with our dogs while we were away for almost two weeks. We have a senior dog and a one year old energetic dog-so very different needs. Laurie was great with both of them! Communication, including pictures, put our mind at ease that the dogs were doing well. We are so thankful for Laurie that we found a good fit.

Megan and her husband Michael were awesome!!!! My dog had a vacation of her own! She was very well taken care of and I feel like treated like she was one of their own!!! She got along perfectly with their other dogs and had the time of her life! She e received daily updates and pictures which I was very grateful for! I cannot wait to have Megan and Michael care for Lottie in the future I am so grateful I found them!

We were so fortunate to find Margaret! She promptly answered our request and set a meet and greet. As soon as we met her we knew she was the right person to care of Bandit. Margaret is kind, welcoming and thoughtful, she took care of Bandit as he was her own. Her wonderful care helped him come out of his shell and have fun. We looked forward to the updates Margaret would send our way, it was a joy to see Bandit having the best time. Margaret and her family are the best hosts and we would love for Bandit to stay with them again.

Stephanie and Nick took great care of our 2 dogs for 10 days while we were on vacation. Even our shy girl Gertie warmed up and got lots of snuggles. From the moment we met, you could tell they were dogs people. Their dog Cooper is so sweet too. They made me feel so at ease with leaving our babies with them. We will use them again in the future for sure.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
