Hi! My name is Laurie and I am a dog lover living in Champlin. I am a retired elementary teacher so I have lots of time and patience! I no longer have a pet at home so your pup will get all of my attention. We will cuddle, play and go for walks. The backyard is fenced with plenty of room to play, run and fetch tennis balls. There is also a very nice paved walking trail that I walked with my dogs many, many times. I know how anxious you will be about your canine family member and will send pictures daily. I am looking forward to caring for your pet and hope you will consider me!

Laurie was so great with our dogs while we were away for almost two weeks. We have a senior dog and a one year old energetic dog-so very different needs. Laurie was great with both of them! Communication, including pictures, put our mind at ease that the dogs were doing well. We are so thankful for Laurie that we found a good fit.

Laurie is one of the nicest people and incredibly kind. I needed a sitter while I was gone on a work trip and my usual sitter was unavailable. We did a meet and greet a few months ago that went really well but I was still nervous as it was going to be for four nights. The boys settled in right away from what she shared. She also picked up on their idiosyncrasies very quickly. It was clear when I picked them that they had a great time and were very well entertained - they came home and napped for hours on the couch. I wouldn't hesitate to use Laurie again.
Laurie was great. She sent pictures every day and the dogs loved being there. We will use her again anytime we are out of town.
Oh, I can’t say enough good things about Laurie!! She took Poppy on short notice while I was recovering from an injury. She sent me updates and made sure that Poppy was comfortable — no, more than that, that she was HAPPY, to be with her! I could tell by the pictures and updates that my little girl was just fine and that put my mind and heart at ease. I got back a dog who was happy to see me but not stressed one bit! Laurie is fantastic and we will use her again if we need a dog sitter! I think Poppy will miss the fun she had!
Laurie took great care of Bentley. We could tell he was enjoying his stay with her updates, and he was in good shape and spirits when we picked him up after a week. Thanks Laurie!

I am retired so will be around most of the time! I like to take walks and enjoy having a walking buddy to spend time with.

My yard is fenced but I always go outside with my pups. I like to keep an eye on them and make sure there is nothing harmful in the yard.
A typical day
I talk to my visiting pups as though they are people. We will play with the toys together and they will take me on walks to get a little extra exercise.
