About: I am comfortable with caring for senior cats and those who need a little extra TLC. I am mostly retired and have plenty of free time available. We have lost two of our furry senior friends over the years. Little Boy passed at age 19 in 2025 and Angel passed at age 17 in 2019. About: I’ve been around and helped take care of cats since I was a kid, but I’ve been a sole cat owner for 4 years now and I’ve had her since she was 8 months old. I have her on a daily feeding schedule that I’ve maintained for a few years now; I scoop her litter daily and deep clean her litter box 1-2 times a month; I administer monthly flee treatment and medication after she goes to the vet (and I overall keep up with her routine care); and I make sure she has daily playtime and stimulation. This is the level of care and detail I would provide to your pets because I understand pets are family. I know what it is like leaving your fur child behind so he or she will be in good hands while you’re away! I am an active person so walks for a mile or two will never be a problem! About: Our home in Brooklyn Park is ready to host your pet. Having had a Great Dane for almost ten years, we are ready to watch pets in any size range. We have no dogs or cats in the home currently, but are set up to give your pet the best possible experience while you are away! We have experience with senior dogs and dietary restrictions such as raw feeding, as well as giving medications as needed. Currently, both Jackie and I work from home, so there is always someone around during the day. We live right off of a walking trail, so daily walks will be no problem. We have a fenced in yard if your pup likes to be outside. Otherwise they are welcome to hang out with us during the day on one of many dog beds, or on the couch for cuddle time.

About: I passed the VTNE in 2022 and have had my vet tech license for 3 years now. So, I have been trained in doing blood draws, giving meds, nail trims, and so on. -I have also had a pet my entire life since the age of 4 yrs old and will never live another day without one <3. - I am petsmart dog trainer certified but want to go more into animal behavior I work 8:30-6:15 4 days a week. I am free Wednesdays and weekends. I can do quick potty break or drop in visit from 6-7 am during the days I work which are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but anytime on the days I’m off. I am trained in CPR trained and have my vet tech license. I like to get all the information on pets knowing their routine, dislikes/likes, etc so that I can give them the best care. I unfortunately live with my in-laws right now so I am unable to board any pets or provide daycare at my house.

As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, and eye drop medications, and have been vet-trained to give injected medication such as insulin. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. Please note that Rover may tell you that I am not available on dates when I actually am if another client is pending a Meet and Greet for a booking with any of the same dates, even if there are no overlapping time slots. Pet sitting is now my full-time job. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.

Bentley usually has separation anxiety, but with Melinda he quickly got comfortable and had a great time. The weather was extremely cold, and yet Melinda took him out a few times a day. She was sending us detailed updates and pictures every day. Communication with her was excellent. We really appreciate the wonderful care Melinda gave Bentley for the whole week. We would strongly recommend her and for sure will rebook her for Bentley.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my family's, friends, and others dogs since I was about 12 years old. I love animals with my whole heart and want nothing that to provide your pet a safe warm place to stay while you enjoy your vacation. I work full time during the week in the city, so I don’t get home until after 4pm. I spend most of my weekend outside playing in the yard or doing yard work. Week days I take my two dogs for a walk in the morning and at night, and find lots of time to play with them before bed. My partner and I work slightly skewed hours so the dogs are never home alone for more than 8 hours during the week day. We have cameras in the living room and kitchen to keep and eye on the while we aren’t home. When watching your dog I will send you updates as frequently or infrequently as you would like me too. I will treat your pets as if they are one of my own. Mine mean the world to me, so I will treat yours the same. If boarding at my home, your pet(s) must be okay with my two dogs. They are both friendly and love to play, but can also be couch potatoes. By the end of 2026 I will have a fenced in yard. I also live within 20 minutes of a Blue Pearl ER vet clinic.
