“Always dependable. When I secure a spot for Murphy he gets more than just daycare....he gets authentic love and guidance and comes home calm and relaxed. I appreciate the dog socialization Murphy gets from many Rover homes but in this home he gets the individual human attention I can't always provide him as they don't take many pets at a time. I really appreciate these two dog lovers!”

And her pets were great with our dogs! Nicole sent daily pics of our pups enjoying laps and sofas. I would most certainly take my dogs back to Nicole and family in the future!”

The texts throughout the day and pictures of Addie reassured us we made the right decision in choosing Maureen. We will definitely contact her in the future when the need arises.”

About: I am comfortable with caring for senior cats and those who need a little extra TLC. I am mostly retired and have plenty of free time available. We have lost two of our furry senior friends over the years. Little Boy passed at age 19 in 2025 and Angel passed at age 17 in 2019. Our vet said they lived such long and happy lives because they were so well-cared for and loved.

About: I’ve been around and helped take care of cats since I was a kid, but I’ve been a sole cat owner for 4 years now and I’ve had her since she was 8 months old. I have her on a daily feeding schedule that I’ve maintained for a few years now; I scoop her litter daily and deep clean her litter box 1-2 times a month; I administer monthly flee treatment and medication after she goes to the vet (and I overall keep up with her routine care); and I make sure she has daily playtime and stimulation. This is the level of care and detail I would provide to your pets because I understand pets are family. I’m excellent at following instructions and I’m adaptable to make sure your pet’s needs are met.

“Danielle was great! She had no issues getting into the house and finding everything needed to care for the cats. Our cats seemed to enjoy her visits as well! Highly recommend booking with Danielle!”

“Briana was a great sitter for my cat while I was on vacation. Very communicative and sent lots of photos of every visit. Went above and beyond by keeping my place clean and making sure my cat was well taken care of. I definitely recommend her!”

“I am so happy I found someone I can trust to care for Scooby. Margaret is such a lovely lady and is genuine. I love all the pics she sends me to keep me in the loop of how my boy is doing while I am away. I can tell Scoobs loves spending time with his new friends. Thank you Margaret for giving me a peace of mind while caring for my son.”

“Jesse has been a great asset to our family! Easy straightforward communication and very responsive to text. He does drop in visits for us and our baby, Muffin, loves spending time with him! He does a great job and I highly recommend him!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, including my own. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I understand that every pet is unique, so I adapt to their individual needs and routines to help them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. “I have no idea where to start with this review! Adam and Leang are such a wonderful couple and they were so good with Lilo. They sent me photos and videos to see how she was doing throughout the day which definitely made me feel at ease and you can definitely tell they love and care for their animals since they treated mine like their own. After our meet and greet Lilo was so excited to see her new friends the next day and passed out after her day was done. I will definitely be using them again!”
“Maureen was a wonderful caretaker for my foster pup. She kept him busy and he was wiped out by the time I picked him up! Lots of good photos and updates throughout the day. She was flexible with pickup time too which was super helpful considering I work 30 mins away and my commute can vary given traffic. Time. She made my foster dog feel very loved!”

About: I am a huge dog lover. Whether it is taking your fur child for an over night visit, taking them for a walk, or letting them outside to potty and play, I absolutely love dogs and am happy to help out! I know what it is like leaving your fur child behind so he or she will be in good hands while you’re away! I am an active person so walks for a mile or two will never be a problem! I also love to play fetch if that is what they like to do! Your fur child will get caring attention while you are gone and hopefully create regular care taking so they can always feel excited to see me when the time is needed! I also am a cat lover so if your cat needs to be checked on while you’re away and refresh water, food, treats and attention I will be more than happy to do that too! I work from home and am able to take breaks where needed so your pup will be well tended to at my home or easy to go check on at your home! I have a fenced in backyard that will allow your pup to roam while outside. I’m happy to abide by any of your household routines when checking in at your home as well.

We have no dogs or cats in the home currently, but are set up to give your pet the best possible experience while you are away! We have experience with senior dogs and dietary restrictions such as raw feeding, as well as giving medications as needed. Currently, both Jackie and I work from home, so there is always someone around during the day. We live right off of a walking trail, so daily walks will be no problem. We have a fenced in yard if your pup likes to be outside. Otherwise they are welcome to hang out with us during the day on one of many dog beds, or on the couch for cuddle time.

About: I passed the VTNE in 2022 and have had my vet tech license for 3 years now. So, I have been trained in doing blood draws, giving meds, nail trims, and so on. -I have also had a pet my entire life since the age of 4 yrs old and will never live another day without one <3. - I am petsmart dog trainer certified but want to go more into animal behavior I work 8:30-6:15 4 days a week. I am free Wednesdays and weekends. I can do quick potty break or drop in visit from 6-7 am during the days I work which are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday but anytime on the days I’m off. I am trained in CPR trained and have my vet tech license. I like to get all the information on pets knowing their routine, dislikes/likes, etc so that I can give them the best care. I unfortunately live with my in-laws right now so I am unable to board any pets or provide daycare at my house.
“Tamany treated my pup with so much care and he loved spending time with her and her daughter. He got so excited seeing them. He knew that he was going to have a great walk. This was my first experience using Rover and I was so worried about trusting my baby with a stranger. Tamany arranged a meet and greet first to make sure that she would be a good fit. I knew within the first 5 minutes that she would be perfect. Thank you Tamany for treating Remmy like he was your pup! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”

“Amber was a pleasure to work with. She communicated even minor updates, cared so much that she cleaned up a small excitement piddle on the floor, and other things she noticed as things to be aware of. She was kind enough to also move a delivered package indoors for us. We absolutely look forward to future care with Amber as the need arises.”

About: I have been around/taking care of animals since I was 10. Huge passion of mine and deeply devoted. Many family/friends rely on me to look after their pets for days on end! I deal with puppies, sheltered, senior dogs etc! My goal is to keep your animal safe at all times, show love and ensure that everything is ok while you’re away I work full time and I would love to incorporate furry babies the second I can, let me show you! I am available 2pm and forward almost everyday and eager to spend time with some companions and give them the care they need. Upon meeting a dog, I start by showing that I am friendly and not a threat, and letting the animal take the lead and watching their behavior, especially cats. I let them get to know me before anything else.
“Nicole did a great job with both my dogs!! They were so spoiled I think they would rather i stayed gone LOL. I will definitely use Nicole's services again in the future!! Highly recommend”

About: I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2023. I will care for cats, small to medium dogs, and small animals. Cats are my speciality. I am also available for dog-walking and dog mid-day let-out. As for small animals, I have experience with guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish. If I haven't had experience with a type of small animal before, please give me very specific instructions and I will thoroughly research the animal and its care before the booking. In my lifetime, I have lived with five cats and four dogs, was the primary caregiver for two cats and my many fish, and helped to care for the other animals throughout their lifespans. Growing up, I attended three summers of horse camp at Camp Kici Yapi and also had one year of English riding lessons. As a young adult, I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire. I have experience with administering tablet, liquid, topical, and eye drop medications, and have been vet-trained to give injected medication such as insulin. I also have experience with specialized diets and with various special needs, and have cared for animals while they were having medical issues. If your pet has some degree of aggression issues, please describe it in your message so I can better determine if I am qualified to care for your pet. Please note that Rover may tell you that I am not available on dates when I actually am if another client is pending a Meet and Greet for a booking with any of the same dates, even if there are no overlapping time slots. Pet sitting is now my full-time job. I have an open schedule and am available from 8am-9pm every day of the week. I am studying to become a translator and I have Japanese lessons three days a week in the evening, but the system has me book time slots every week that can vary, and usually I have enough notice from a client to book the lessons around my pet sitting schedule. However, if I am given shorter notice, I may not be able to move around the lesson times and may have to fulfill an evening visit at an altered time on a particular day. When I arrive for drop-in visits, I hold my supply bag in front of me as I enter the door to prevent cats from escaping. For evening visits, I may also leave a light on at the entrance as another measure against an escape. I store all keys in a designated bag and label them when necessary; I avoid opening the key bag inside the car, where keys could fall into difficult-to-reach places in the car. I maintain the cleanliness of the food and water dishes and litter box each day and clean up any accidents, vomit, or hairballs that I find. If I need to administer oral or topical medication to a shy cat, I will need you to close the doors to certain rooms in the house where the cat can get into more difficult hiding places, and may even need to keep the cat isolated to one room. I will handle old, frail animals more delicately, particularly if I need to grab them for a medication.

I’m able to provide whatever you will need for me to best take care of your pets! Let me know if there are special accommodations your pet needs!

About: Caring for dogs has been my passion for the last 2 years. I have my own dog, but I am also the one family and friends call to care for their pets. I also work part time for a local animal rescue and volunteer with one other rescue. This has provided me experience with all kinds of dogs. I have fostered over 30 puppies in 2025. I love all breeds of dogs and will love them like their our own. I have basic dog first aid and CPR. I currently work very part time and volunteer at a few organizations. When I am away from the home, it’s for very short periods of time. I can also adjust my schedule according to your dogs needs. I have a large, fenced in yard. The yards surrounding ours are also fenced in. I have plenty of extra crates and supplies, if needed. I have dog seat belts, if your dog likes car rides. I do not require pets to be crate trained, but will offer them a space of their own to decompress and feel safe.
“We have been having Emma be our rover sitter for a good handful of weeks and we love her! Most importantly, Luna, our pup, adores Emma. I would 100% recommend Emma and truly trust her with my pup. So thankful for her and how well she loves our little Luna 💖”

About: Hi! Im Mayhugh, a 23 year old who just relocated to the Twin Cities! I love all animals and am excited to help you with any of your needs! Im a go-with-the-flow sitter and will make myself available to you and your animals to the best of my ability. I previously lived with 1 dog and 5 cats so I am very familiar with animals! I've watched my friends and family's pets whenever they go out of town for about a couple of years now and since I love doing it, I figured I would sign up on Rover. I understand that everyones animals are family to them so I know how important it is to follow all directions and spend quality time with the animals I babysit. My only intention is to bring your pet joy and you comfortably with my help! I am still searching for work so I am available a lot of the time! I can make myself available in the morning, afternoon and evening almost everyday. This varies case by case, but I believe you should try to walk the dog everyday, hang out with them and play in addition to food/medications Since I am not working at the moment, I can fit in the care your dog needs easily! Even when I find work, I am great at time management and can fit them into my schedule. The most important rule when caring for oets is to follow the directions given. Every animal is different and the owner always knows best. That being said, giving the animal stimulation, love, and lots of pets seems to work best for me!
About: Thank you for considering me to provide care for your fur baby. I am available to provide drop-in care for your cat or small to mid-sized dog as well as walk your dog in your absence. I have almost always had a cat in my life. I had cats all throughout childhood and for 22 consecutive years as an adult. I usually have two furry friends in my home at one time. My current loves are an 18-year-old Maine Coon and a 6-year-old Tuxedo. I can care for kittens up through geriatric kitties like mine. I have complete flexibility with my schedule and am happy to take requests on short notice. I am happy to provide meds, brush your feline friend, feed, change litterbox, play with, or whatever else your cat needs. Although I have never had a dog, I have cared for the dogs of family members when they traveled or were recovering from surgery. Dog care included walking, feeding, playing, and just making sure the dogs stayed happy and healthy until my family member returned home. I appreciate the trust placed in me and can't wait to meet your four-legged companion. I have complete flexibility with my schedule and am willing to take requests with just one day's notice. Your fuzzy companions will be in good hands while you travel. Just let me know what your pet need while you are away from home, and I will provide it. I will leave your home exactly the way I found it as well.

She is wonderful! Our dog thinks so too. :)”
“We found Melinda in the last moment, as our previous sitter was hospitalized a few days before our trip. Melinda was amazing. She took such a great care of our senior dog. Bentley usually has separation anxiety, but with Melinda he quickly got comfortable and had a great time. The weather was extremely cold, and yet Melinda took him out a few times a day. She was sending us detailed updates and pictures every day. Communication with her was excellent. We really appreciate the wonderful care Melinda gave Bentley for the whole week. We would strongly recommend her and for sure will rebook her for Bentley.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my family's, friends, and others dogs since I was about 12 years old. I love animals with my whole heart and want nothing that to provide your pet a safe warm place to stay while you enjoy your vacation. I work full time during the week in the city, so I don’t get home until after 4pm. I spend most of my weekend outside playing in the yard or doing yard work. Week days I take my two dogs for a walk in the morning and at night, and find lots of time to play with them before bed. My partner and I work slightly skewed hours so the dogs are never home alone for more than 8 hours during the week day. We have cameras in the living room and kitchen to keep and eye on the while we aren’t home. When watching your dog I will send you updates as frequently or infrequently as you would like me too. I will treat your pets as if they are one of my own. Mine mean the world to me, so I will treat yours the same. If boarding at my home, your pet(s) must be okay with my two dogs. They are both friendly and love to play, but can also be couch potatoes. By the end of 2026 I will have a fenced in yard. I also live within 20 minutes of a Blue Pearl ER vet clinic.
